Simply the worst

I will start by saying Elizabeth was great about answering her cell phone when I called and had questions in the beginning. Unfortunately, that is all the good I can say in my experience. She did not look into my case fully (at all) and did not show up to all of the court hearings (missed 3). I felt like a babysitter for a year. After trying to have me accept a terrible plea deal, I switched to another lawyer. Because of that one move, my wife was able to graduate with her masters and I was able to see the birth of my daughter. Also, still a free man! I understand that lawyers have games they play and are products of the system. But I do not understand how somebody could take money from somebody in a bad situation and only make it worse. Good luck everyone in choosing the right person to fight for your freedom!

I couldn't recommend a better lawyer than Mrs. (Elizabeth) Carpenter. PERIOD. Seriously, to anyone reading these reviews, she is Knowledgeable and kind. Yes I said KIND. She will listen to you and REPRESENT you authentically. She has been so understanding with allowing me to pay her at a comfortable pace, which is a godsend. She has great communication, and she really, REALLY saved me out of what seemed a insurmountable legal situation.

She represented me in a legal situation revolving around an illegal search and siezure by Jefferson Parish Police; who, after breaking many laws and my personal, civil liberties used fear and intimidation tactics, to the point of straight up lying and covering up evidence. I was devistated but Elizabeth believed in me and continued to fight for my rights.

In my experience with past lawyers, I found they can become jaded overtime. Due to the stressful and overwhelming nature of there work, a lot of lawyers can be rude and/or condescending, in both attitude and demeanor; however, working with Elizabeth this was farthest from the case. Her caring and attentive attitude towards my case eased a serious amount of my worries/anxiety during the proceedings, and restored my faith in lawyers overall.

At the end my case was reduced to simple fees. I don't know how I could have gotten through this without her representation.

She is an awesome Lawyer

Ms Carpenter helped me when I was in a very vulnerable place. She was my attorney & helped me when I needed it most. I think if you need someone who will stand up for you & handle a case for you she is a great lady to hire.

Ms. Carpenter represented me in a civil case because I was the victim of a sexual assault. I cannot thank this lady enough. She is highly skilled, smart, and professional. She clearly loves her job. Let her a message ask her answering machine said to do. Instead of just ignoring it, she texted back days later apologizing and told me she would call in a hour. Im not sure which hour she meant cause days passed and i still havent heard anything. She really isnt the layer for me. Not dependable at all
