They are not truthful at all. With deliberate malpractices, they reset/extend your case to get more of your money and delay the case results. They don't tell you the status of your case because they don't know. They sell themselves on getting lesser penalties for your offense, but don't try to get you less. They simply want you to plea guilty and get the plea deal. They have no true interest in resolving the case in the best results, but only to get your lawyer fees.
