Hiring Gary Trichter to represent me was one of the biggest mistakes of my life.

I was arrested for DWI in Ft Worth after I allegedly failed field tests and a warrant was taken for my blood. I spoke with Gary and told him that I wanted to see the evidence in my case before deciding whether it was worth it to pay him $21k nonrefundable, because if it was a likely plea deal, that expense made no sense. Gary assured me that we'd be going to trial no matter what, and then pressured me to decide whether I'd hire him. I gave in and decided to do so based on his online reputation.

After the evidence comes in, Gary now advises me that we couldn't possibly win at trial. He is somewhat rude to me, and scolds me for my own rude behavior towards the arresting officer. That really didn't sit well with me. He advises that we should try a motion to suppress, and if that fails, plead guilty. Gary performed reasonably well at the hearing, but we lost, and I pled guilty.

I paid Gary $21k to only attended the motion to suppress hearing. He was not involved in the plea negotiations; instead he hired a local attorney to represent me. I didn't get much advice at all about what to negotiate for, and feel I did not get the best possible deal.

After I won my first appeal, which I handled myself (and which was later reversed), the trial court set a hearing. Gary informed me that he wouldn't be appearing for this, based on our contract specifying that his representation was limited to the dwi case in the trial court. I pointed out that this was still the same dwi case in the trial court, and asked for an explanation as to why this hearing was not part of his representation. I received no response.

During my appeal, it was discovered that there was an error in the court's paperwork that indicated I had no right to appeal. I contacted Gary about this, and he refused to take any responsibility for this or help me in any way to get it resolved.

I generally found Gary difficult to communicate with. I would caution anyone considering his services to reconsider.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Edward Denuna for the way he handled and helped me through a very frightening experience in my life (a DWI arrest). He handled himself not only professionally, but showed tremendous concern and care in his dealings with me. Mr. Denuna basically held my hand through this whole ordeal. When I had questions they were usually answered prior to my having to ask them. he worked to get the best out come for the situation short of a dismissal (which was highly unlikely).

AS a result of Mr. Denuna's efforts if I had a friend in a similar situation I would not only recommend Trichter & Murphy, but more specifically I would tell them to ask for Mr. Denuna personally to handle their case.

After a year you would have trouble getting somebody on the phone let alone walk you through what needed to be done to get your final orders from the court. Not only did Chris help but he made a point of making sure I didn't have to go back to court. He did all this in courtesy and efficiency.

Yesterday my DWI case was DISMISSED by my Lawyer Chris Denuna, No Breathalyzer ever, No probation, No nothing. Leslie LeGrand is a superior lawyer. Throughout my year of working with him, he made me feel like family and treated me as a priority. I was extremely fortunate to engage the services of Aaron White. I found him to be extremely professional and knowledgeable. They say a man is only as good as his word. Gary Trichter is true example of that. I was charged with 2 DWIs about a month apart. I am a veteran with multiple deployments and HAD substance abuse issues with alcohol. I'll skip the details because I finally got the help that I never wanted to seek. When I had my accident in February of 2015, my "getting away with it" had come to an end after 30 plus years of getting away with drinking and driving. After getting out of the hospital the next morning, I immediately contacted Trichter & Murphy. To be blunt, I was very scared but I had not been arrested. I still had my license. I was very confused. When I would go down to the courthouse, all I could ever think of was, "my God how many criminals are there in this city...and I am one of them!" If you are reading this I can only assume that you too are a good person involved in a bad situation. For that I am very sorry. There is no easy way out, at least there was not for me. My circumstances did not indicate that I was going to elude the consequences of my actions. Maybe for they will. Trichter & Murphy made me no false promises. They did not provide me with a false hope of acquittal.

They did provide me with assurance that by following their instructions and directions that I was going to come out of this. They showed me that they had faith in me during a time in my life when not many others , including myself, did. We all, at some point in our lives, need help. They helped me. I know they can help you.

I used this law firm for a DWI I was accused of. I was pulled over on the 2014 News Year no refusal weekend and accused of driving drunk. Not only was I arrested but I was asked to give a breath test in which I refused. So the officers actually took me to the hospital and took a blood specimen from me. Usually when you refuse to blow its automatic drivers license suspension for a year I believe. Well, 2 months into my case my drivers license portion of the case was not suspended and that part of the case was dropped. Next thing I know about two months later my criminal charges of DWI was dropped as well. This is not no plea deal or nothing like that. This is case closed, no fines, no fees, no nothing.
