I could sit here and tell you how my life was turned upside down a little over a year ago when i was charged with a felony that i did not commit, and that i was facing up to 99 years in prison. I'm a middle age father and a husband. I was charged with a DWI. Never been arrested before in my entire life. Horrible experience. I hired Grant based on all the excellent reviews from the internet. He will sympathize with you during the signing of his contract and tell you everything you want to hear and why he's your best choice. After you sign on the contract line, he does not like for you to ask him and his team questions on the status of your case. He has no problem with reprimanding you for doing so as if you wasn't a client of his after the contract has been signed and payment has been made. He even encouraged me to go with another attorney if I didn't like it. That's when I lost total confidence of his interest in putting 100% towards obtaining the best outcome for my case. Why would you say that to a client, unless you really don't care? Five star salesman at the end of the day and very expensive. Close to 7,000.00 dollars ( this includes a military veteran discount). All that was done was a bunch of rescheduled court hearings.Had a successful ALR hearing only because the officier did not show up. I ended up finding anohter lawyer that treats his ciients with a little bit more respect like you would if you had a buisness that services customers and clients. Success has a way of manking people arrogant. This may be have been the case regarding my experience with Grant and how he treated me. I cut my losses with him and it was well worth it. I was charged with a DWI and to make matters worse, I had a .20 blood result, which upgraded the charge to a Class A misdemeanor. My odds were not good, but since Grant and Jose are the experienced lawyers they are, they advised me to take my case to court, and they got my case dismissed the morning before the trial even began.

In addition to getting my entire case dismissed the day of trial, they also won my ALR case for me shortly after my arrest so my license was never suspended. I didn’t even have to be there in person.

DISMISSED!! After being out at a bar, I decided to be the designated driver. Friends asked me whether or not I was okay to drive. Since I had only had a couple of drinks, I felt very confident to drive. On my way back home I was stopped for speeding which I considered was very unfair, because I was slowing down as I was coming off the toll way on the ramp. The speed limit drops from 65 mph to 35 mph. It is basically impossible to slow down in one second from 65 mph to 35 mph. Anyway, the police officer was very rude to all of us. He accused me for being drunk, which was not true. Even though he was rude I was still being polite. He did not let me talk and told me he was going to do the sobriety test on me, which I totally refused because; 1.- This test is designed to fail (sober people have failed), 2.- I have a torn ACL. After I refused he arrested me and charged me with DWI. My blood was drawn after the police got a search warrant. My case was dismissed 2 months after I got arrested when the blood work came back from the lab. The results were below the limit. We also won the ALR hearing case so my DL was never suspended. What can I say, Scheiner Law Group is the best law firm in town, plus they are all very professional and polite. From the moment I walked into their office, I felt very comfortable. My experience with the Scheiner Law group has been nothing but positive. I was arrested on a DWI charge after a small collision in a parking lot one Friday evening. After bailing myself out of jail I immediately began the task of finding good representation. As is common these days, my first port of call was to check internet review comments. What stood out for me was the extremely high number of 5* ratings Scheiner Law group had received in the past. Although I’m sometimes skeptical of internet reviews, a quick discussion with Grant Scheiner totally made up my mind on who I wanted as represention. It was instantly evident that the Scheiner Law group were the ones to guide me through this hellish period of my life. They were very experienced and knowledgeable about how the circumstances of my case related to the judicial process I was now involved in. Jose Ceja took on my case and was instantly successful in keeping my driving license at the ALR trial. I was stopped by an officer for speeding on a Thursday night following a work event at Kung Fu Saloon. After consenting to field sobriety tests, the DWI task force officer arrested me for a DWI. Following extensive research on Houston lawyers, I decided to go with Grant Scheiner and his colleague, Jose Ceja. I immediately felt comfortable and trusted both following my consultation visit, as I felt they were direct and to the point regarding informing me on my options and the court process (they cut out the BS unlike other lawyers I met with). They were able to reset my court date in order to complete in-depth due diligence to provide me with the best possible outcome. Ultimately, we agreed we should take the case to trial. Grant and Jose met with me multiple times to gather information and were well prepared going into trial. They also helped me to feel comfortable in the unfamiliar court setting. My case was very tough, lasting two full days and over 3 hours of jury deliberation, but the outcome was positive. My DWI was dismissed due to a hung jury (4 not guilty, 2 guilty).
