Do not make appointment with him. We waited 2 weeks to see him, drove down to Houston for the appointment and he cancels the appointment few hours before the scheduled time. The assistant calls one day before to confirm if we going, and on the day of appointment she calls and says it’s cancelled. So why schedule people if you're not going to be there..

Mr. Modi helped me with getting my elderly parents from India US citizenship. His team and him were outstanding. They met with me and took detailed notes about my case. Both my parents were not able to take the test and my mother was not able to attend the ceremony due to some medical issues. They worked with the immigration officials to make sure their case was dealt with appropriately. They followed up on a regular basis and kept me updated on the progress. On the day of the interview for my father, one of Mr. Modi's lawyer accompanied us to the interview and made sure everything went well, which it did. The firm helped get my wife's I-131 (Application For USCIS Travel Document) expedited for approval so that we did not have to cancel our religous wedding ceremony planned in Mexico. If we would have had to cancel our wedding, we would have incurred a financial loss of ~$20k.

Our case was tricky for a couple reasons:

1) the majority of our supporting documentation was in Spanish and therefore needed to be translated to English before submitting to the USCIS

2) We had a very tight timeline (Modi, Christine, and Estella prepared a 40+ page documentation packet in less than a week)

3) The law firm didn't represent us from the beginning (I attempted to file myself but realized I needed professional help in getting my expedite approved), so there we some mistakes I made that they had to clean up.
