I hired this law firm to help with my child support case. I selected him because of his military background and thought he will understand my case a little bit more. I already had a court order for support from several years ago but needed help reinforcing the support. I was charged 1800.00 for filing the paperwork to the court. I had to send the paperwork back and forth to my child’s father to sign. The paralegal is awesome because that’s who I spoke with more the Mr. McMann. I felt it was a waste of my money for the work I had to do instead of them plus the payment is still not garnish from his wages or tax return.

Know before you hire. Wish I would have known about Mark McMann. He did not handle my case effective, gave incorrect information, very rude in responding emails, and violated the attorney client privilege by coming into court and testifying against me lying saying he never said something that I have a witness to. Just know before you hire him.

Wow after reading all of these reviews I agree his secretary is rude she hung up on me today....after reading your response I have to laugh because I was never your client for you to know how I am. I was calling to get an appointment with you but after your rude secretary and reading your response to your reviews as you call your clients names you're to unprofessional for me.

I don’t understand all the bad reviews, it’s far from the truth, maybe they didn’t get exactly what they wanted and lied the whole time, who knows. But there is a such a thing as the “client from hell”. Definitely recommend Mark and his staff.

Mcmann is a great attorney , I was in a bind and never been to a family court , he was patient and took my case seriously. I would not recommend this law firm to anyone or will not be using them again myself. Very unprofessional and tend to work for the opposing party. The secretary is rude and i received no justice for the money I paid for their services. This was an overall bad experience. I would not recommend Mark McMann P.A. to anyone for any legal issues. I hired to handle a simple time-sharing cases, which i had already submitted all the require legal documents to get the case present to the judge. As the case progressed, Mark McMann . and his staff quickly became difficult to contact via phone when I needed updates on the case. They either returned calls several days later or not at all. During the case, I had also set up several phone consultations with dates and times. Mark McMann never followed through with any of them. Also, the Florida Bar states McMann P.A. was disciplined and fined by the Florida bar on 6/21/17 for a DUI-driving under the influence, (which he plead guilty in court) and received from the Florida Bar one year probation, fines and court costs.

Very RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL! I had an appointment and the staff didnt inform me of the lakeland office! So im sitting at the winter haven office for 35 minutes plus. I called she hung up and i called again.... The lawyer got on the line and told me NOT to call back and find another lawyer! No Problem... But yall are very RUDE.....

McMann will not be working for you. All I heard from him was to give up my right to alimony, he gave up one of my kids on taxes and he put me in a disvantage in my divorce case. At the first question he dropped my case leaving me in a worse position. With nothing to negotiate I was left at my ex’s mercy. All this without ever spending time with me after to our initial meeting. I don’t recommend McMann. You will be hiring him to give up before the fight. He will not protect your rights. I feel like it was my ex who hired him and not me.

Mr. McMann is an exceptional lawyer. He is a great guy. He was my divorce lawyer. I highly recommend him.

Mark helped me get through a lengthy divorce and custody battle. He had a strong, confident presence in the courtroom. He provided me with encouragement and was always prompt to respond to any questions that I had. He was also understanding of my financial situation and worked out a payment plan that was feasible for me. If you want a reasonably priced no nonsense lawyer go with Mcmann, if you want to feel special, get cucumber water, and fancy chocolates than this is not the place.

I could have paid more for someone who would wipe my butt for me but in the end the outcome probably would have been the same.

Mark saw me and my family for a custody case. He gave us false hope and what seemed very little effort. We saw him multiple times in what came to feel like us checking in on him. When he finally did make a major move in our case, we were set for a hearing, he cancelled it without notice or reason. When we met with him to see why it became clear why. He did not treat us with consideration , respect or fairness. He did not treat our case with the same urgency and attention that we had wished. We switched to Sessums Law Group who won our case, every appeal and subsequent hearing. When your lawyer gives you excuses about why he can’t do something, switch. McMann law is not worth what we almost lost.

His assistant Carrie Flood is RUDE!!! Worst assistant ever. His office is VERY disorganized. We got multiple emails that weren't even meant to be for us with someone else's name on it. We dished out all this money to have McMann be 15 mins late to my court date. On another date his assistant calls to tell me 10 minutes before court that they switched the date making me drive all the way to Bartow for no reason. And they never followed up with anything we asked. On the last court date they gave me 1 business days notice about owing them for the last court hearing and that if I couldn't pay, they'd drop me. 1 business day! And then dated it two weeks in advance. I'm sorry, but that's just completely unprofessional. If I'm paying someone almost $300 an hour to work my case, I expect exceptional service. But that is not what I got at all. If I could rate 0 stars I would.
