Had a phone consult with one of the associates this morning. It was painful to say the least. She spent 10 min going over fees and costs instead of understanding my case and concerns, called 10 min late, and the rest of the conversation was spent not listening to me. I mentioned 3 times that I had a judge order relinquishing jurisdiction while she continued telling me I needed to file in the original issuing court. I don’t feel she heard me and ultimately felt like just another dollar sign being pushed through the consultation process...there was no care, no connection and no concern. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the fees are reasonable.

The staff here is very prompt. But the legal representation is lacking so much. My 4000.00 flat rate divorce turned into 7000.00 and I'm not even to trial yet. Iv since withdrew from these guys and hired another firm. Not much to even fight over. But I don't want to blame the whole place for one attourney not being nearly aggresive enough. Red faced in court every time. Never had answers or really any updates till the end. No offers of anything but what "they" said. When the updates did come so did the bills! C'mon guys. The flat rate only covers one court appearance. Now I'm sure in nearly every divorce there's a hearing and a trial. So you only show up for pre trial and to get you to close it's 750. per appearance? That's a bait and switch. Classic...but shame on me. I'm just gonna live learn and carry on. Seven thousand dollars...yeah........+++++++++..ok now I'm going to add to this for some that could not spot this, the reply posted to this review, Mr.Haefner shows this firms negligence. This case is still very ongoing. Not over and done . Mr.Haefner is posting details of my case in public view in retaliation for writing my polite but honest review . So All take note as I have waited for him to take this down on his own but there's no remorse. Childish really as 3 months later I'm billed An additional 850.00. so everyone take note. It's Google reviews and I did not post details of an ongoing case. Screenshots of this have been taken..This is a vulgar display of carelessness and immature behavior. It's your money folks. And I do not doubt those that rated a higher rating were genuinly satisfied. BTW his accusations in this reply? I was never even asked about the issue or has it been brought up. FALSE CLAIM..SURELY you and your firm can understand how serious this will be when proper avenues are notified. Or it's just not being aware of the many ways this will affect your firm. I went to court for a year in a custody matter, the staff was always professional and got back to me in a timely manner. And when it really counted for the trial they really brought it. Lacking proper communication skills. I spent more time trying to get the receptionists to contact me or write an email than actually speaking to an attorney. Numerous spelling errors in the paperwork that caused it to look extremely unprofessional to my ex's lawyer. Yes, I paid a flat fee - and you get what you paid for. It was nice that they filed the paperwork as soon as possible but it ended up being contested anyway. I was told that he "had a better chance of winning." By the end of it I felt as if they were not in my best interest anymore and I wasted money. Please do your research and maybe spend that extra money to get an attorney that is headstrong and has your best interests in mind.
