David Waldrop is a professional and efficient attorney. He is upfront and honest even when it may not be something you want but need to hear. He and his office staff kept me informed and were a calming force during a very difficult time in my life. I am thankful that he worked with me and helped me. I would recommend him to anyone needing a thorough, professional, and if needed aggressive attorney.

Mr. Waldrop is thorough, detail oriented, communicates well with his clients, and is expeditious in his handing of cases. That is my experience. After having 2 other lawyers who dragged my case on for almost 2 years and A LOT of fees, Mr. Waldrop had my case wrapped up in under 4 months. I strongly recommend Mr. Waldrop. - Dr. V

David and his staff are great! Helped us with our wills, power of attorney and all those things we kept needing to do but kept putting it off. Definitely contact them for your legal needs.

Best thing that happened to me! I had a lawyer that ROBBED me of money for 3 years. I NEVER saw a judge & was charged well over $20,000 over a 3 yrs span, basically due to lawyers trying to make money. I hired David and all was settled within 2 MONTHS! Very happy.

I cannot get my case file. I asked. I was told Tuesday. Now it’s going to be after vacation in late June. Per TBA case file should be provided promptly upon request. I asked and gave two weeks. I was advised it was in storage in March 2019. I was advised to come this Tuesday. Now I can’t get a copy until late June. I asked in May.
After filing negative review, I am now being advised I’m being charged an additional $8,000 although I’ve never received a bill prior nor was anything ever mentioned. Cases presented for contempt attorneys fees were ordered and paid by defendant. Finally received final bill from 2017 completion of divorce and all charges were satisfied. NO bill received for any services from December 2017-January 2019. I have no recourse to get any help. It’s the same situation as in my divorce. No acknowledgement to my requests for help. If the file has been in storage at the very least since March, I’m assuming all processes required by the TN Bar Assoc. have been adhered to. WHY can’t the file just be copied? This is my only avenue to utilize to tell people, please know your rights when hiring an attorney. Everyone is a human being. No one’s time is more valuable than another’s. The rules by the TN of Professional Responsibility and the TN State Bar are excellent resources. Please do research, know your rights. It’s overwhelming to feel so helpless to get someone to follow the rules.

I put one star only because after my divorce was handled and a year of Contempt of Court on just about every matter agreed to, I utilized Mr. Waldrop because I knew I’d win attoney’s fees but still had to pay several hundreds of dollars just to file. It took months to get him to file and I was in a financial hardship. The last time I asked to file for a 3rd time it was said it will be $300 to file. Being owed over $1,200+ and a single mom, I just could not afford it. So, I couldn’t. I’m still severely struggling with the repercussions of the matters that were neglected and not addressed in my case but charged for numerous texts, emails, and phone calls to follow up and beg for Motions for Contempt to be filed as my husband locked me out of our bank account, spent over $40k from a 401k against an injunction. I offered evidence of abuse, starting from 2 weeks upon being served my bank account was drained, direct deposits ceased, and contributions to the 401k ceased despite an injunction. My support payments were being paid from the 401k, a car was purchased, no action taken to protect me. No action was taken!!! Upon research Rules were not followed that impacted the finality of my divorce and I was not made aware you only had 30 days to appeal. The year waiting for mediation to occur, I went through hell without any action taken against the violations of just about every stipulation of the Order. I did not get a final bill a year and a half later opening a window to file a dispute. After asking multiple times of being told it was in storage, I got the bill upon demanding it stating TN requires it be provided timely but full payment without even seeing a bill was required within 5 days of settlement. So, my previous positive review was solicited by Mr. Waldrop offering a discount. I needed it so I complied. Not recommended if you are a victim of abuse, especially financial because matters are not handled timely, if at all, calls, texts, emails begging for help cost you, depleting almost half of the meager settlement I got after the 401k was more than 1/2 used up against an injunction.

Text request below from Mr. Waldrop:(original would not post but available):

“Can you go to the Google business review for the Waldrop firm and give me a five star rating. I have a mad client that went in and gave me a horrible rating this morning which is total bs and it's negatively impacted my rating. If you give me a positive five-star review I'll take $250 off this new project with the Steve.”

David Waldrop was very helpful throughout the whole process of my divorce. He would walk me through every step and answer any/ every question that I asked. He handled everything as quickly as possible and made everything go smoothly. I will be recommending him to any and everyone! You will not be disappointed.

Difficult to reach. Always unavailable even for a telephone call. Office assistants are not helpful. I regret to start business here.

This was my first time to get a lawyer. He was great with me. He worked with me on everything. Plus he won our case. If you need a family lawyer go talk to him!! He's great! Just don't lie to him. You don't lie to your lawyer!!
