I just called this morning (12/18/19) with 2 individuals experiencing disabilities who need help. This is the number listed for legal aid in independence. The lady who answered after being on hold for 10 minutes cut us off while speaking and said we have the wrong number. I began to ask who we called and she hung up on us. This is extremely discouraging and rude. We are looking for help and this type of treatment is not disserved by anyone.
