So far I'll give a 4 star, she is not only a private attorney she also has court appointed clients. Give her a break it's a lot to take on. I don't doubt she will earn the remaining star on this review. The other 2 guys probably f'd things up on their own.

Won't call us back, makes excuses for confusing behavior, demands payment without letting us know what to expect. Very unhappy with services rendered

I went through OAR (Oklahoma Alternative Resource) to hire an attorney for my child custody hearings. They did not give me options of attorneys, just told me attorney Misty Fields out of Pryor, Oklahoma would be representing me. I have met with Ms. Fields only one time to discuss my case. Ms. Fields told me when it came to an emergency protective order hearing that I would be able to represent my self and win. I file the paperwork and showed up without legal representation and lost, yet Ms. Fields and OAR charged me for the hearing. I called many times to dispute it, over 6 calls to Ms. Fields and 8 to OAR until I received a return call that it would be fixed in billing. It still hasn't. Ms. Field filed a templated form for a hearing and her office called my ex wife to inform her of the court date but not myself. When it came time for my hearing Ms. Fields had the court hearing stricken, once again failed to notify me of this. On January 18th I have a hearing. I was informed by Misty's office that she doesn't feel I will need representation at that hearing. So I am left to ask, what am I paying her office for? When I spoke with OAR they informed me they had tried to reach Ms. Fields for awhile and their calls were unanswered. Honestly how I feel is scammed. I would never recommend OAR or Ms. Fields.
