This is a great place to have in your back pocket for cases located in Tulsa area only.

To Whom it may concern, I would like to thank you all for providing Oklahoma Attorney Resources to the many grateful recipients in the greater Oklahoma City & Tulsa region. I would like to inform you all how highly satisfied I was with the legal services, council, and partnership I received from Zane Wood. His professionalism exceeded my expectation when first enrolling in your services. He was kind, generous with his time, and truly made me feel like a priority and not just one of the many (so to speak). As I am sure many people say, the year long process of my divorce was one of the most difficult times in my life and looking back there is no way I could have endured it all without Zane’s assistance. He always made himself available to me whenever I needed him. If you have any follow up questions or would like to discuss anything further, I would be more than happy to oblige.

Amazing people they have always been there to help and to work with you. Paula is an awesome lady always understood if things happened and she worked with me. I would most definitely use them the next time I need a lawyer!
What should have been a simple, inexpensive divorce quickly turned into a train wreck when the ex went back on his word (just like he went back on his marriage vows) to go about our break up with dignity. Of course he did.
OAR was for me, a single mom with little resources, a life changer. My attorney was patient with me during a difficult and frightening experience.
Perhaps a big firm could have gotten me more out of the divorce settlement, but he did get me the absolute one thing I wanted - well two things - my home and my divorce from an abusive alcoholic. Fighting for more would have just eaten up resources for things that just weren't all that important in the long run. Getting away from the abuse without becoming homeless was the important thing.
I could not have done this without their payment plan, and I'm very thankful to them for that. I made my last payment to them yesterday, appropriately on Valentine's Day! It was a most excellent way to celebrate!
Mr. Gray showed up for all our scheduled appointments and court dates; he answered all my calls and emails. Along with the fantastic people at the Rogers County domestic violence office and sheriff's office, the ex is being held accountable for his crimes against me.
I highly recommend OAR for anybody who needs their services and would hire them again if ever necessary for something. I cannot speak for others who have left poor reviews but will suggest that it is very important that the attorney does his/her job, but as a client you have duties and responsibilities as well to help ensure a good outcome.
Thank you OAR and Mr. Gray, I couldn't have done it without you!

Trust me when I say to take your $ elsewhere, if you are trying to win a case do not use these people & their attorneys. I would've stood a better chance being my own defense rather than using the one provided by this place. My attorney let every detail fall thru the crack & advised me to just take the offer, even tho I had a very strong case. This company & the provided attorneys are very incompetent.

I paid for services for over a year at almost $200 per month. I received nothing more than a phone call and one email from the lawyer, Tim Gifford. He never returned my calls, and said he would take court actions, yet never did a SINGLE thing. I'm out a large amount of money for absolutely NO services.

I went through 2 different attorneys through this agency, the first one fails to file for emergency cousty and failed to let me know of a upcoming court date with ended in a protective order being dropped! The second attorney worked with my ex more than me her assistant was rude she dropped my case right in the middle of it because I was 3 days late on a payment. I was left with a bigger mess then when I started and out $3000 I do not recommend them at all

How appalling that they advertise themselves as a Christian organization. Usually there's a higher standard of service and a greater hope of getting badly needed help. Shame on them for not following through, not returning calls, not checking to see if someone who has paid they're required fees and done their part in the transaction. No follow-up, no checking to see if the attorney they said they contacted has contacted the client or that they're trying to find an attorney, or...To date, 1 1/2 +weeks later, no call and no return of deposit or even a follow-up that they won't charge the card on file.

I have been praising the lord for leading me to this place. Steve connected me with the most upstanding attorney in town who truly is helping me and my family. I had the opportunity to learn and share with one of the ladies on staff who let me know I wasn't alone in dealing with tough circumstances and she gave me sound advice. Steve was a gentleman who shared the word with me as be made his decision for which attorney to connect me with. I'm grateful that though this nonprofit is not religiously based it is run by people who are Christians who care about what is in the best interests of children. I definitely recommend Oklahoma Attorney Resources.

I have been working with OAR since 2012. For individuals who have too much income to qualify for legal aid services but would have difficulty paying the going rate for an attorney, it is a huge blessing. Their staff is committed to helping families and children in Oklahoma through difficult times. The attorneys who work with OAR are dedicated, hard working, and caring people who help OAR provide a necessary service when people need it most. OAR helps people have access to the courthouse and the justice system when they otherwise may not.

I have worked with OAR since 2013 and they are a fantastic resource for those who could not otherwise afford legal services. The staff is committed to helping others and are very caring and compassionate. Their attorneys are dedicated, experienced, and work hard for their clients. OAR is truly committed to helping children and families. If you can't afford legal representation, I highly recommend that you contact OAR first!

A friend of mine recommended i check out OAR when my wife and I were facing some really hard times. After nearly 13 really hard years and everything imaginable happening to us, we had finally grew to a point where I felt like divorce was my only option. I knew I could not afford the high cost of an attorney, so I gave OAR a shot. From the moment I walked in, I felt very welcomed and reassured that they would help me through this tough time in my life. I met with Steve and did not once feel like I was a nuisance or that I was being rushed out. We talked for over an hour and shared stories back and forth about our lives and how different circumstances brought us to where we were at that moment. He shared with me how his life had been completely changed through different circumstances and how it lead him to a new and improved life. He told me that it is their desire to see families work things out if at all possible and that if there was just and ounce of hope left, to consider my options for reconciliation. I had a lot of anger in my heart towards my wife due to various things we had both done, but I decided to consider the options of counseling. After filling out the paperwork and paying the different fees, Steve asked if he could pray with me, in which I agreed. In that moment of prayer, a bit of hope started to return to me that maybe my wife and I could work out, but it was going to require quite a bit for me to make that actually happen. As the days and weeks passed, some events took place that brought my wife and I back together and I am happy to say that we are doing very well as a couple. We have now been married for 13 years and my 8 year old daughter and soon to be born little girl will get to grow up with both of their parents. It all started with the care and concern of OAR. Had they been an organization that just cared about money and not the whole person, my wife and I would more than likely be finalizing our divorce and our children would be living two different lives apart from having two parents under one roof. We have since attended two different marriage counseling events and have gone through intense counseling. OAR doesn't want to see family's broken apart. They are understanding when certain events in life call for divorce and they make it affordable when that's the case, but they will also help you to see that there are other options out there. I will leave everyone with this challenge; can you say that you have done everything possible to save your marriage? Have you attended counseling? The conferences? Have you forgiven? Have you taken ownership of your faults? It's easy to place blame on what everyone did wrong, but what's important is that you examine your part in it. There can always be resolution to a problem, sometimes it just requires us to let go of our ego, our selfishness, or our past hurts. We can also always find something that we could have done better or that the other person could have done differently. Think about the things you could change in yourself to better serve and love your spouse. It's time to stop pointing out the other persons flaws of what they are doing wrong. Let's start pointing out what they are doing right. We may not be able to go back and create a new beginning, but we can start now and create a new ending. OAR did just that for my family. They helped me to see that there could be a new ending to my story. When I told OAR that my wife and I were going to reconcile, they processed my paperwork in a timely manor and credited me back money that was not owed under the contract. Had I not been broke at the time I would have gladly donated the however many hundred dollars I got back from them. If you have tried everything to save your marriage, or whatever other legal issue you are facing that they are capable in helping you with, I would strongly recommend using OAR. When the circumstances are right, don't let money be a reason why you haven't pursed legal action. If OAR is able to help your case, they will do everything possible to make it a smooth process.

Oklahoma alternative resources is an amazing program. They were absolutely wonderful all the way from the staff to the attorneys. David C Fisher was my attorney and I didn't have an easy case. He got me EVERYTHING that I wanted out of my divorce and protective order and custody hearings. Oklahoma alternative resources have reasonable prices with GREAT attorneys and are very helpful with any information pertaining to legal matters. I would recommend them to all of my friends and family. Thank you to a wonderful staff and team that are there to serve and make life easier for people in need and can't afford regular rates!!!! 5 stars all the way. The bad reviews on here must be from people who are angry and wanted to vent about something...... If you want the true opinion and review of this place definitely try them out and see what they can offer you!!! You won't be disappointed

Oklahoma Attorney Resources is an excellent place to seek assistance for civil legal matters at a lower rate. You must understand that it is their goal to assist people, if they can, with certain legal matters.
I sought them out after being referred to them because it was impossible for me to hire an attorney for my divorce proceedings based on my income. Most attorneys charge over $200 per hour.
I thank God that they took me on as a client and matched me with a spectacular attorney.
I would recommend checking into OAR to see if you qualify for assistance.
As far a billing, they have always been understanding an explained to me what was going on with my bill even when I got confused or frustrated and helped find solutions for my issues. They are great people, and I don't know them personally or work for them..... this is 100% a real review!

To date, this organization appears to not take a case that it could and then decides to be picky on what kind of case it wants to take despite some traits of glaring obviousness.
My case was one in which I asked if they could help with moving to vacate a child support order in which the biological mother lied by over a million dollars a year of her income and they wanted to charge my current wife for those litigation costs.
Due to their influence, I am now separated from the wife but I contacted them in regard to why it was that I was criminally prosecuted.
If you want to fund them for a divorce with or without minor children, you may likely be better off going to office depot and getting an edition fo divorce-in-a-box.
If you want them to defend you in a criminal matter- well, just look elsewhere... like, dude, you may just want to negotiate with the DA and arrive at a judgment.
These people are so indolent that I can only surmise that they only take criminal cases in which they can paint a picture to their potential clients that they are effective.
Apparently they want cases that are handed to them on a silver platter.
On the other hand, if you're a green attorney and you want to make a name for yourself, you may want to avoid this organization like the ebola virus.
I mean, they seem to want to sell their legal artifice at little or no meaningful ROI.

WATCH YOURSELF!!! Always remember, "You Get What You Pay For". There's a reason most GOOD attorney's charge $250 hour and up. As in most cases, as with this one. If you are paying a much lower hourly rate for an attorney, you can expect a much lower hourly representation from that attorney!!! Why would a person (attorney) take a job for $60 an hour, if a person (attorney) could make $250 a hour? Because that person (attorney) is a nice person? I don't think so!!! Most likely that person (attorney) is not a good attorney, and can not bring that $250 hour on there own. BE CAUTIOUS!!! With hard work, an attorney has the ability to drive the results of your legal issue in a very favorable direction. Without hard work and attention to your legal issue, your attorney can drive you into a ditch!!! I suggest, if at all possible, pay for the $250 an hour now. It will save you a lot of money later!!!
