My experience with Matt was good at the beginning, but in the end it was very bad, I think he has many cases and puts his assistants to do the paperwork and they don't have the right knowledge to complete it properly. I paid more than $1,500 for him to fill out paperwork and it was denied because it wasn’t filled out properly by them (twice). They did not do their job well. We went to a new lawyer who was able to fill out and submit our paperwork and it was approved almost immediately. We just wasted time and money with Matt on a case that was time sensitive and should have been resolved the first time around.

I would not recommend them beacuse they were u professional and borderline dishonest
1. They sat in my case for months without submitting my paperwork even after we had a payment agreement.
2. I sent them two money orders in one envelope, (from out of state) one was blank and the other one was not. Somehow they only received the other money order and not the blank one, very surprising huh?. Anywas I did investigation with money gram and came to find out the empty money order was cashed out at a monogram store in KC. I was shocked and disgusted but decided not to pursue it futher wasnt worth my time.and got a different attorney.

I don’t know how to start a review on something that means so much, well back in 2002 when my wife tried to adjust my status we choose a lawyer that we didn’t know that didn’t have experience and things didn’t went as we were expecting; we went to the whole process even went to Cuidad Juárez Mexico for an interview but everything went wrong, could be the inexperienced lawyer or my situation but I come up empty handed, that lawyer just didn’t do anything else; We tried hard to find other lawyer but even the experienced ones say they couldn’t do anything anymore, I was hopeless, devastated because I couldn’t understand why I couldn’t adjust my situation; a few years later an immigration lawyer recommended us with Matthew Hoppock, I remember I called his office and his secretary actually squeezed me in so I could talk to him the same day, after I talked to him, he gave me hopes that no one ever mentioned us before, hopes that become blessings, he was very straight forward with us, he couldn’t warranty anything due to matter of my case and of course USCIS have the last word on that; he worked on my case hard on a different ways and took him four years, on Sep 3rd of 2019 I received an approval notice for my status, the next day my Green Card arrived, that was amazing, not to mention that I didn’t had to to go to Mexico for the interview, everything was done here in the states, just thinking of having to go for an interview in Mexico it was scary; I had a good communication with him at all times, he was there every time I need him, if I email him he would answer, if I called him he’ll answer, well he was what I saw on google when I searched for any reviews, a “Super Lawyer”, definitely he is; About his lawyer fees? Lack of proper communication with clients.Never give an updates what was happening in your case.As a client,we need some updates like calls or emails once in a while especially if its already out of processing times.Atty's will not call you to interpret what things to be needed and what's not during your RFE's.You will have to self-understand your RFE.Atty's never call you if your case was approved.It would be nice to received a call from your Atty.,that you were approved and explaining what's the next thing to do.
They are experienced law firm but you can't feel the warmth/sympathy from Atty's & staff.They treat you like you owe them something because they handle your case as if they were doing it for free for you.Needs a lot of improvements with the way they treat their clients.
