They keep disappointing me so badly

Stacy is awful she doesn’t return messages, she doesn’t remember what is going on. My case was denied help but the scary thing is that I had to trust Stacy who was always confused about my situation. Anyway. It’s sad that the community of Oklahoma as to rely on this organization that appears to be unorganized it took them about a MONTH to decide I didn’t deserve help and I have been fighting against an abusive powerful man. The front office women are very rude as well. Good luck oklahomans

This organization is good about helping you with what you need and if they are unable to do so they direct you to a source that can. The admin staff is very friendly and has so much patience!

Excellent group of people, Lark was the absolute best!! She was so helpful, compassionate, and knowledgeable about my sons disability case. She walked us step by yep through every process and stayed in contact with us even after. She’s an absolute life saver, I’m not sure what we would have done without her. I wish this young lady many great successes, she’s an outstanding attorney.

I talked to mostly her interns and communication was messed up . However regardless no matter how many interns she had when it was time for me to show up in court she should have been there or at one of her interns with a sign that says hi is your name Danielle if that's you I'm here in place of your legal representation. Is that never happened no one showed and it was an aggressive case my life as I knew it was on the line it was a good thing that I listen long enough to her talk which was a long in her office is this one sentence hey look see he's not even a business so all I got to do is show up and be like judge he's not even a business and this was what she came up with at the last minute on a weekend okay so when she did show up or anybody else I just repeated what she said hello judge he's not even a business and hey look I'm a lawyer

They won't answer their phone. Tried several times for 3 days. They put me on hold with music, then hang up after an hour. You won't get through.

I have been trying to get ahold of some one to file bankruptcy. I have left numerous voice mails and no call back. I have called my local office and the application line going on a month since I've started trying to contact to get legal help to file bankruptcy all I get told is some one will call me or I am forced to leave a voice mail.

They change lawyers or just disappear with no word. Don't return your call, or nothing. I'm very disappointed. My 90 days had been up I was told to wait another 30 days it's passed I'm still wanting on divorce and custody.

Not helpful at all. I called them regarding the fact that I am being harrassed and discriminated by the people of deadCenter Film Festival for expressing my religious beliefs and they said that they can't help me as they don't deal with cases like that. Then what good are they for. Sounds like a demonic evil organization to me then.

Oklahoma Legal Aid Services the Next time you refer us to anybody make sure that they are able to practice in all counties of Oklahoma.

Well i waited on hold for OVER 1 hour just for these "people" to pick up the phone and then hang it up!
I call back some other number i found for legal aid and the terrible person answering the phone just CUT ME SHORT and put me on hold.....in the queue AGAIN???? NOT SURE SHE JUST PUT ME ON HOLD WITHOUT A WORD.
Didnt GIVE TWO S@@TS i was on hold for over an hour and hung up on WITHOUT A WORD.
I hang up call back and tell her I WANT A SUPERVISOR and she TRIES to run their typical line of BS, about "no supervisors".
I tell her "you just cut me short and just put me on hold"
"if you worked in a real job, in customer service,answering phones like you are, you would likely be fired"
"Even walmart would fire you".
So i ask "so you just get to come to work without any boss or supervision at all"?
"not any administration what so ever"?
"in a non profit"?
Yeah right.
Of course the rest of know thats 100% BS.
I told her as much.
The girl wasnt ready for that, i guess, and i ended up taking to someone.
No idea who it was.
Some lady, i guess one of the people that have been there a while.
I CANNOT believe the BS EXCUSES this lady tried to shuck pertaining to her bad "customer service" person answering the phone.
It was one of the WORST used car salesman like excuses i have EVER heard.
I am told i would get a call back later that day.
8 MONTHS later still no call back.
This lady was nothing more than a spin doctor, billowing out her tripe.
If this shuckster is typical of the "lawyers" that they have then i am FAR better off representing myself in court!Seriously.

Waited over 2 weeks for a call back. Never spoke to a human being until I was called by a woman. The following is exact convo. Have I called you?
Me: who is this
Her: legal aid
Me: no you have not I've been waiting two weeks for a call back.
Her: what do you want?
Me: um divorce and custody help
Her: are you domestic violence?
Me: no
Her: then we can't help.
Me: um I was referred by CPS
Her: what's your name?
Me: Christina.
Her: I'll pass it along.
Me: may I speak to a supervisor
Her there is no supervisor.

So basically no help unless you are in a domestic violence situation.

No grants to help veterans, so sad

They are lovely here. They’re purpose is to help people with legal matters who might not otherwise be able to afford their services. They do this well. I am very grateful for their assistance and the kindness with which it was given.

Lark Zink was a life saver! She stayed with me through the end. And still helps me out with anything needed. It's a little hard to get in contact with anybody but I totally understand that because these lawyers/legal aids are handling a lot of cases.

Total crap. I am a mom of two attempting to divorce my abusive husband but they refused to help me. I was denied because my husband applied for help in the past. Even though legal side denied him due to him being a felon, it is somehow a conflict of interest for them to help me. Even though they didn't even help him he just appied and was denied. Where in the hell did they come up with this stipulation. So, if you beat your wife and wanna make sure she can't get help leaving just apply for legal aide before she does and there will be NO ONE to help her. Total B.S.
