David Prater is the best DA we've had in the last 25 years. He's fair, honest and upholds the law for the sake of the law and doesn't practice selective enforcement. The later had been a problem in Oklahoma County for a long time. I'm a conservative that supports this man for who he is and what he has done, not his political affiliation. As a former elected official, I know that you can't please everyone, so the best thing is to follow your values, that way you can sleep at night and in my humble opinion he does just that. He has my support!!

I watched a short clip in which the DA said” You don't need to hear to understand what officers are saying to you” . He was referring to the incident where troopers have beaten a deaf elderly man.

My IQ dropped 20 points after hearing that statement. I guess Oklahoma can’t have it any better.

This a corrupt, incompetent group, with corrupt leadership, defending corrupt police and ultimately victimizing the people they are supposed to protect. At the end of the day, you have to wonder, are they incompetent or just evil?

Mr. Prater and his staff (Jane and Dawn) were very helpful getting a stolen gun returned to me. It was held by OKCPD for nearly two years, after contacting Mr. Prater and his staff I was able to get it returned in a few weeks. Thank you!!

Tried to cover up criminal police behavior by filing false charges against a deaf man who was beaten. Whoopsie for David and his cop buddies...this black guy could afford a lawyer. False charges withdrawn, and $175,000 paid by the citizens he 'serves' to the victim.
