I HIGHLY recommended Mr. Monks as your attorney for all things involved with anything from estate planning to estates in probate. Although I live over 3 1/2 hours away in NW Arkansas he discussed with me the estate of my mother's Oklahoma estate currently in probate. I first discovered Mr. Monks through a Google search and called him right away on a Sunday expecting ony to leave a voicemail asking his office to contact me. I was very surprised to find he has an answering service and they quickly and efficiently set up an appointment for a consultation. Mr. Monks answered my questions with expertise and HONESTY. He was honest...wow...NO promises, gimmicks, agenda to bilk me for money nor false hope. He was straightforward. In the end, due to sheer logistics (he in Midwest City, OK and the case is in Stilwell, OK) he declined the case. It did not bother me or upset me in the least due to his INTEGRITY. Yes, I highly recommend him!!!

I was recently referred by another attorney to Mr. Monks. I live in Cleveland Ohio, but I was dealing with a very complicated guardianship case in Oklahoma City. I briefly spoke to Mr. Monks and explained my situation and what I wanted to do. He explained to me that what I wanted would be very expensive and not a very logical first move... He suggested a free, more strategic option. I was skeptical, but I tried it . IT WORKED!!! It started things in motion. About two weeks later, I called his office and spoke with Marcie. I explained what was happening. In a matter of hours she had spoken with Mr. Monks, returned my call and got things in motion. It was very short notice and I needed representation in less then a week. Mr. Monks did explain to me that I had a 50/50 chance of winning my case. He quickly filed the necessary paperwork and 3 days later I was flying to Oklahoma. Since we had never met I was nervous about the outcome. on such short notice. I arrived at the courthouse about an hour before the court case, to finally meet the man I had put so much faith in. Mr. Monks was so PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND COURTEOUS. HE WENT IN THAT COURTROOM AND WON MY CASE!!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am very thankful to of had Mr. Monks work on my families probate case. I live over 1,000 miles away in California. I was not really confident that I would find an Attorney who would handle the case as if I were living in Oklahoma. Boy was I happy to be wrong. Mr. Monks and his office kept me informed about my case in real time. Since most of our communication was done over the phone and through email. I really appreciated the fact that when I had questions and emailed/called the office it was wonderful to receive a response in less than a couple of hours; which was nice for me especially since Oklahoma time difference is 2 hours ahead of California.
