This is Jayne Clark reviewing Mr. Ray Chamberland for Jerry Clark. Ray has helped our 3 sons with divorce situations. Though we believe in, "Till Death Do You Part", sometimes it's healthier to end a marriage. Ray helps the process go smoothly! He is punctual, he explains everything, he listens to you and has your back! He helps a bad, emotional process proceed as fast and smoothly as possible. That's why we've gone back to him 3 times and we'd refer anyone to him!

Ray and his staff were focused and efficient with time and money. They also proved their experience in my case, and thought of things, I never would have.
I felt confident going into meetings and in dealing with the other party that I had the better attorney on my side. Very thankful that I chose Chamberland Law compared to the other options I was looking into.
I hired Ray for my divorce and was extremely satisfied in how promptly and efficiently they replied to by emails, worked on getting paperwork together, followed through, etc. His pricing was fair and I always felt Ray and Cindy were involved and knowledgeable about my case. I never felt lost in a sea of clients. I am grateful to have had a painless experience through this process and these guys were a huge part of that! thanks!

Ray and his team are incredible. My previous attorney wasn't very helpful. Chamberland Law was a great and they made sure I was treated right. I am forever grateful for the help they gave to my daughter and I. Thank you!

Ray and his staff did a great job on my divorce case! It's a tough situation to be in but Ray's advice was accurate and helpful and he did not sugar-coat anything. The chosen custody evaluator did a good job with his investigation as Ray said he would, and my concerns were always taken seriously by the attorney. He was prompt in answering my questions and did his best to keep my attorneys fees as low as possible. Together we achieved a good result and I would use his services again in the future.

I have read some of the reviews on here, and am extremely confused. Ray has been my attorney for years, and has helped me successfully with my divorce and my modifications. Ray does get expensive but you get what you pay for. It seems to me that the negative reviews are from clients who just wanted a hand out. Anyone with half a brain knows divorces and custody cases can get expensive, and will not always go their way. It appears that the last review on here, from Nardo stayed with Ray through the completion of her case, and then complained because she had an outstanding balance with him. Ray is a very dedicated attorney, and I highly recommend him!

Ray is a liar and will sabotage your case. Do not listen to his lies he says he is military and will get aggressive. He also says these bad reviews are his competition not true. Ray will tell you everything you want to hear on the phone because it isn't documented like emails. Once he comments on emails everything he didn't do will be your fault. I even talked with other lawyers today and they said I'm not the only one he has done this too and you can read the other reviews and another lawyer said he will keep taking money from you till he has you broke. These lawyers said they can't stand him and what he does to his clients. Ray is the most dishonest type of person I have ever met. I have almost 10k invested with him because he is a smoother talker till you get to court then he with holds facts doesn't get aggressive at all and will yell at your for asking questions because he doesn't want to answer to what he said on the phone and only wants your case to prolong till the next court date. This is your warning find somone else Ray is the biggest thief and rip off! I am also a business owner in the springs and I make good deals happen everyday. This guy is a bad deal and I promise you finding someone else is in your best interest!

Run. Do not trust Chamberland Law to represent you. The consult was the only time I felt confident and happy with the team's performance. Ray and his team did not have my best interests at heart. They made many mistakes and never apologized even when proven they were wrong. They were rude and downright hateful. They know that once the case is started they have you between a rock and a hard place. I won my case because I, negotiated with the father. They just had to fill out paper work. I would not have won if I left it up to them. Save your money and represent yourself. Even the final document that they sent to the courts had my son's name wrong. Months later, I receive a hefty bill for the refiling of a paper because of their inadequacies. Amateurs. Yours kids are too important. Don't trust them.

Ray represented me in a high conflict custody case. His office always responded to me in a timely manner, they kept me in the loop throughout the process, he was knowledgeable and prepared, and we achieved an excellent result in court. Thanks to Ray and his staff's hard work and continued efforts in my case, I am a major part of my children's lives and I could not be more satisfied. I would recommend him to anyone needing a family law attorney.

Hired Ray and it was a huge mistake! Ray has no clue as to what is going on, his staff is just as clueless. I would go to law school before I hired this guy again.

Ray took $2,500 on a retainer filed 3 or 4 pieces of paper, tells me days before my court date after trying to see my kids for 9 years that I should settle out of court or he needed more money. I told him to go play golf that day. This crooked piece of you know what tried to say I owed him over $700 more. I laughed at him and he sent me to collections for over $4,000. Real garbage. Stay away.

Mr.Chamberland and Cindy have worked diligently for my husband and me. My husband recommended this law office to me after his divorce years ago. They are smart people and work as a team. Mr. Chamberland made it clear that doing the legwork ourselves would help keep the costs down. If I could give any advice about your court date, it would be to trust his guidance and do not make his job harder by speaking out of turn. He has spent his life learning the ins and outs of courtrooms and the more you talk needlessly, the longer it takes to represent you. Cindy is a kind woman and attentive listener. They have always responded to my requests promptly. I will recommend them to anyone who wants efficient representation.

Ray and his team were incredible. They exceeded my expectations and at a very fair price. They never wasted my time and only stuck to what was necessary for my case. I felt a personal connection with everyone in the office and felt they actually cared about me and my situation. They cared about my childs best interest and not my money. I would highly recommend Chamberland Law to anyone.

After I had a bad experience with a different attorney, my friend recommended Ray who did her divorce. I wasn't disappointed! My ex was doing everything he could to harass me and stall and waste time, but Ray shut it down and kept things moving along. I was so much less stressed out once he started handling the other lawyer. Highly recommend

I hired Mr. Chamberland when I needed help with an out-of-state custody issue and I'm sooo glad I did. I felt like I could ask all of the questions I needed when I didn't understand the process. Office staff was helpful too. Totally worth the money to get someone who really knows what they're doing. I don't think I would have gotten as good of a deal with some of the other lawyers I talked to.

Ray represented me in a contested custody case and did a great job! His office always responded timely to my questions, they were in constant contact with me, they followed through and Ray was well prepared for all hearings. Ray was aggressive in court and obtained a better than expected result for me and my family. I would recommend him to anyone needing help with a family law case.

I hired Ray Chamberland for a divorce and custody matter....At first, he is very nice, and makes you feel like he will fight for you, especially if your a veteran such as myself. He to is a retired veteran, but don't let that fool you. At my temporary orders hearing, I asked him to file motions in disagreement to the order and he chose not to, he does what he wants, not what you as a paying client wants...He only cares about money, as he threatened me numerous times to withdraw, but failed to do what was asked. If you raise questions or concerns, he belittles you, and threatens you. I spent thousands of dollars from loans that I had to take out, had him for 7 months on my case, and not once did he fight for me and be my voice. He advised me to pay a bill from my spouse's alimony, and stood in front of the judge and said that he never advised me to do so. He cares more about the respect of the Judge than standing up for your rights. You will speak with his paralegal and office manager more than him. He is rude, selfish and only care only about money. The icing on the cake is after all the money I spent and him never fighting for me...He withdrew from my case 30 days prior to my final orders hearing, leaving me to find more money for another attorney to scramble at the last min, in which my outcome with my hearing due to Ray's failures was a bad outcome. I highly recommend that u stay clear of him at all cost. Hiring him will leave u feeling defeated and broke...Worst attorney ever.. if I could give negative stars on would!!!

Worst experience ever!!!! I was never sat down and explained the process by Ray and it ended up costing me almost my entire retainer just to email him! I disputed some of my charges because Ray would answer questions in an email that I did not ask. I have yet to hear back from them.... I'm guessing because it's money they would have to give back.

I never dreamed I would need a divorce lawyer, and I had no idea who to trust or what to look for in one. Thankfully I was referred to Chamberland Law by a friend of mine. I called to schedule a consultation and was promptly given one with Ray Chamberland, and was able to ask for his thoughts and advice regarding my situation and scary circumstances. He gave me his honest feedback based on years of valuable experience helping me make difficult but necessary decisions.
The staff at Chamberland Law was kind, professional, and patient helping in anyway they could. I was guided through the process, prepared well in advance for the next steps in my case, and given ample time to complete what was needed for the next deadline. Ray was understanding and helped me make objective decisions during the most difficult time in my life, and his counsel was invaluable during the process of my divorce. While it's the court's goal to rule fairly in for both parties in every divorce case, Ray seeks to understand what's most important to his clients and does his best to achieve those goals. I highly recommend Chamberland Law!

We'll the lady at the front desk (when you call) completely unprofessional and rude. When she picked up all you could hear was mumbling so I of course am going to say "im sorry what?". All she says is chamberland law office in a quick snarky remark.... ok whatever let it slide. I then had said "i just have a question im not sure if you can help me". She then said "well what is it?" In the same snarky attitude. I told her neverymind you have an attitude and just as i was about to push the call end button you can hear her say another snarky remark?! What kind of people are you hiring?!

Save your money and find a better firm. They're rude. Get back to you whenever they choose to. Claim to want to save you money but it costs the same if not more and instead of personal attentive service they want to communicate via email and it's on their time even though it costs you money. I do not recommend this even to my worse enemy. I've had some bad experiences with attorneys. This by far is 10 fold the nightmare to anything I've ever experienced.

These guys did a great job for me, mostly! All of the staff there are friendly as well as polite. My only suggestion and as I am a veteran, I would say that the lawyers should gain some understanding about dealing with people who have PTSD. Nobody is walking around expecting people to understand them however if you advertise that you deal with veterans, common sense would indicate having a degree of common understanding when dealing with veterans. Otherwise, the client - lawyer relationship based on basic principles is lost. Also, in some manner when it comes to questions, "professionals" need to define a target and reach it, not the client. The client knows that he/she wants to get a divorce, but does not know the best path to take......Not stumble onto the target then hope for the best. I am not the one being paid, the lawyer is. I have no idea about the legal system so I would not be able to find a justifiable cause for divorce. That is the reason why people hire lawyers, because they know how to choose the right course of action. In some instances, I felt like I was being interrogated instead of being a client. The only thing that I knew is that I wanted to get divorced. My ex-wife is estranged, and has been for the past 5 years. When we separated, I was in the middle of my second deployment, so my memory is tainted. Honestly when anyone goes to war, they are set to put the normal things in the background in order to take care of the mission at hand. I was even questioned and denied sharing information due to being accused of unethical behavior as far as my income. I am not saying that this law firm is bad, I am simply saying that "A" particular lawyer needs to either decide to work for veterans or against them. I am an honorably discharged veteran, twice. When a person that is supposed to be professional questions my ethical behavior, to me it is the same thing as saying that you do not believe in the same doctrine you made an oath too. I honestly have nothing to hide but it may have seemed that way because my lawyer does not understand the nature of my past employment.

It was a horrible experience. Not only they came up with extra reasons to charge me they failed to represent my interests in the court. All their speech how they are military friendly and invested in military personnel is a lie. Child support they calculated didn't reflect the correct numbers. Initial price was doubled, attitude was just horrible. Can't recommend even to my ex's.

As a JAG and attorney myself, Chamberland is a terrible representative of the Air Force JAG Corp and the attorney ranks in general. He charges for services that were never requested, doesn't promptly respond to emails and avoids personal meetings with clients. I should have listened to the 3 attorneys who worked with him or for him in the past that informed me he was one of the worst officers and JAGs they have ever worked with.

The search for our family law attorney ends with Ray Chamberland! Our one and only regret is that we did not find him sooner. Ray represented the views and concerns of our entire family in a fair but firm manner. We remain very impressed with the level of professionalism, attention to detail, and consideration displayed by Ray and each and every one of his staff members. We have no reservations on recommending Chamberland Law to anyone seeking legal representation.

For all those looking for a lawyer, Not sure where to start. I will let you decide if you want to hire Ray. First of all, the divorce was non- contested and then contested. Total cost so far, $8,700. The documents that where submitted on my behalf for the divorce were full of discrepancies. In the witnesses called for my hearing, my son was referred to as my brother. Final divorce decree, property addresses in the documents recorded wrong, I was referred to as the father and not the husband in the final divorce decree and there is no children in the divorce. During the final divorce hearing, it seemed like Ray wasn't paying attention. The other lawyer was able to ask me questions without any objections from Ray. I think I got total screwed in the final order from the judge. It seemed like he didn't hear any of the arguments in my defense and I provided Ray with all the documents to back my testimony.
The ex was the one who abandon the house we lived at, cheated many times and was even using Craigslist to find new partners, did drugs(Meth, Heroine, etc.), and wouldn't work even know she has a Masters Degree which is a higher education than me. She got everything she asked for (Married for 19yrs/$1,300 maint.for 10 yrs, rental property, timeshare, I pay all debits, and she has no order to refinance the properties within a timely matter that the courts awarded her). The only thing she didn't get was me paying for her $134k of student loans. Would you like my deal?

Going to modify my and my ex-wife's child custody agreement, Ray exceeded every expectation I could have had for an attorney. At the end of the day, we got everything we wanted, and because of Ray's tenacity and attention to detail, the judge ruled in favor of the children being able to see me more throughout the year. He's THE BEST and I highly recommend him should you require assistance through a family court dispute.

I recommend Ray to the Colorado people.
Please note that my case took place in Colorado while I was located in Michigan. Ray resolved my issue without me even having to be there.
