I'm a combat veteran from OIF and I suffer from PTSD. I went to this law firm because I thought they could help. Instead they lacked communication, they were incompetent and they didn't go very far in my case. After a denial they waited until the last minute to decide that they didn't want to go any further. I now am fighting my own case because I feel
better off. If you can find a different attorney I recommend any firm besides this one.

A one-star would be too much over rating for this place. They're very unprofessional and they are out for themselves. They will waste your time lose your paperwork and their customer service is the worst I've ever seen.there are a lot of law firms out there so I would suggest to go to them and stay away from this one as far as you can. They will waste your time and they will take your money and leave you with nothing. This is a very bad place.

I hired Jeff when he had his office in Carlsbad. This was a workman compensation claim Close to 30 years later and I suffer with a life long pemanent injury. He never disclosed how much he received but I got $10.00 a month for 10 years. Do NOT trust this man. He is a schister in every disgusting aspect. Stay away. No compassion and no empathy for his clients. I am certain he made and pocketed all the money for his own pocket.

Have been trying to get a yes or no answer out of them for two weeks! Do you take cases like mine or not! 6 phone calls from me to them and they NEVER return calls as promised. Had a 10am phone appointment that never happened. I dont know how they stay in business like this! poor customer service! And I am a previous client and was a satisfied with their service prior to this debacle. Their service has gone down hill from when I dealt with them 5 years ago! CALL SOMEONE ELSE AND SAVE YOUR SELF SOME AGGRAVATION!

I have issues, and this firm is worthless. They don't even deserve a star!! They did nothing to help me!! They send a woman who acted like she was scared. She did nothing to fight my case. I wish I had read reviews before asking for help. This system is screwed, and corrupt, and I firmly believe this. If your looking for a lawyer, pass them up.. I worked hard all my life, and now I need help. I get treated like this!!! Worthless, simply worthless!!

This law firm is a JOKE. My mother has been fighting for her disability since 2013 and made the unfortunate decision of hiring this office. They were recommended by a family friend and it turned out to be a disaster. Connie Diamond has no business running this office. She DOES NOT care about her clients and CANNOT be bothered to do her job. How is it they're going to automatically take a large chunk of their clients money, but not do their jobs? SMH. Now that my mother is on her last appeal and expressed her dissatisfaction with this office and their lack of urgency with her case and her deteriorating health, they have passed her case on to another law firm. Which in the long run, is probably a blessing. The new attorney filed the appeal that Donna has been putting off for months, in 10 minutes. Really? It took 10 minutes? And my mom has been calling and calling with no response? Give me a break. What a pathetic excuse for a business. DO NO HIRE THIS FIRM if you are looking for someone who will truly fight for you. Keep on searching.

Predatory law firm that; another example of how attorneys subvert justice. This law firm purposeley missed hearings and court dates, I believe, (really I know this) as a means to increase their profits. The judges and people at my final hearing were not surprised by my comments. What will it take for someone to investigate and out this predatory industry where attorneys prey on people with disabilities. For some reason I had to click on at least one star to post this review. This law firm does not meet any criteria relating to stars.

I recently was looking for a disability lawyer and was referred to Jeff Diamond law firm.
I spoke with this unprofessional employee with the firm her name was “Angela”she was horrible, so sad she is miserable in her own life to treat people the way she treated me.. she wouldn’t give me her last name knowing I was going to complain about how she was talking to me. I felt like I was being reprimanded instead of getting help. STAY AWAY! from this firm. Listen to the reviews. I don’t want anyone to go through what I did with this horrible miserable person “Angela”

I dont even want to give them one star. These negative reviews are SPOT ON. I thought I was the only one having problems with their office, but as I see now I am not. Its been a year and unless I call them first I dont hear from them at all. No follow up phone calls nothing! Wish I would have read these reviews first. Time to find a new attorney.

Horrible service!!! Should be a -5 rating. My brother was horribly injured in a motorcycle accident at age 24. He received FULL SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY for 11 full years. He felt better, wanted to be priductive, so gave up his Social Security Disability payments to get a job. (Still in lots of pain). So now he can't work anymore at age 53 because of the horrible debilitating pain. This law firm couldn't even find records of the past 11 years of history of payments from Social Security??? Really??? Then continue to take his payments and didn't do a thing for him! Sad sad sad. Lawyers who should go back to school.

If there was a no star option i would choose that. Jeff Diamond's Attorney skills are so weak that he lost my first case for me by missing a deadline to appeal because they forgot to put it on their calendar. This was after i had asked them repeatedly to file ASAP and not wait for the deadline. So that mistake by them cost me a whole years worth of Social Security Payments. At the time he told me that he would reopen the first case and get me my money, but again he did not know the law and i am told now that you cannot open old cases. He also told me at the time that we would get an extension to the deadline in his words "they always give me the extension" well they didnt and denied him flat out which meant that i lost that first year. Then he told me "sue me i have insurance" and now after the fact he is telling me they wont pay me that first year that they messed up on. And now i have to take him to court to to force him to do the right thing. Mr. Diamond is great at blowing smoke and telling you what you want to hear, but he is horrible at follow up and follow through. Although he has a few good attornies working for him, he sets the passive and unprofessional tone for the firm and i would not recommend anyone use his firm. I hired him because my family is from roswell and carsbad area and i thought that hiring someone from there would mean i would get professionalism and the pride of doing a great job. What i got from Mr. Diamond was lies, deception, very weak (if any) representation and alot of smoke and mirrors on that first case. Forget about them and get a good attorney that really cares about your pain and suffering and will take care of you and do what they say they will do.

Dont know why all these bad reviews. I had a much different experience. They handled my disability case like they should of. Sure the law drags its feet with it being a waiting game. The Jeff Diamond Law Firm handled my case well and professionally. I worked directly with Wendy, Angela, and( Mr. Greene my attorney appointed to me).They helped me every step of the way through the whole process. I was aware of each and every thing that would happen throughout the whole process.

If you think you really deserve your disability this law firm will help you. Just do your part and have a great relationship with your physicians and b completely honest about whatever probs you're having, so they could do their part as well.

Mr. Greene it was a pleasure working with. With his willingness to look into my case and give me the best advice, i found out today im finally gna get what ive deserved!

I would give them 0☆'s they are not helpful they never return your calls. They "don' t" care, total waste of 2 years. They don' t answer questions about the case. I would "never" recommend them to anybody. I never talked to a Lawyer I was set up with a Case worker that didn't know anything about disability.

I never write opinions but this is the first one. This law firm is well below par. You talk to secretaries far more often than an "attorney". The "attorney" assigned to me was very inexperienced and apparently had an overwhelming workload. I have worked and put money into the SS system for 35 years. I'm not asking for a handout -- I'm asking for help. To get to the Disability Office, my boyfriend had to take a day off of work and we had to leave our home at 5 am to drive 3+ hours. At the disability office I had to wait 3 hrs before the hearing (great for someone who can't sit or stand for more than 15 minutes at a time) and after 3 hours, I had a 3 minute "overview" with my "attorney" who asked me to remind him of my case prior to meeting with the Judge. He said the case would last 10 minutes at most and it looked good. I was judged, critiqued, criticized, degraded and talked to in a condescending way by the Judge for 45 minutes and my "attorney" never said a word. All the while I'm standing up and sitting down on the pillow I brought along. I have always lived my life independently and now I can't. The Judge has an "expert" who looks up jobs across the U.S. that you can take instead of SSD. She suggested that I sell my home and move myself and my 30 dogs (I run a no kill dog rescue) and move 1,000 miles to Ohio to apply for a minimum wage position as a receptionist in a hair salon "because I have a cute haircut". And without an income, how can I buy another home, relocate my Rescue and re-build housing for my 30 dogs? The other suggestion was me (56 yrs. old) work the drive thru window at McDonald. Again, not one word came out of my "attorney's" mouth on my behalf. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED and I have wasted 2 years with this. I am going to contact Michelle Baca Law Office for some real help. Meanwhile, people who I know have been on SSD who don't and shouldn't be on it and are roofing houses (back problems), cutting down trees (spine problems), hauling wood (diabetic), and working in restaurants (for cash) (depression and previous drug abuse) -- all while collecting their checks and never ever being required to have a yearly physical. Yes, the system is screwed up, I agree. But this Law Firm isn't one who can help you get the legitimate help (not a hand out) you need.

They were very helpful in the beginning...I went before the judge, he denied me and they wanted to stop there, in New Mexico you have to appeal to the same judge, he refused to hear my case again. I tried contacting JEFF DIAMOND LAWFIRM and they wouldn't take my calls, no joke they locked the door on ..I was so distraught that I never filed again!! Forward 5 1/2 years and I am disabled and cannot work! Even my Dr's are surprised I'm not getting Disability, by the time I was denied I was 5 work credits short, according to the JEFF DIAMOND LAWFIRM, so I never tried again. Here I sit disabled, without disability income that I worked for!! My husband makes "Too Much Money to get on Ssi", I see and know people who are on disability who just "Worked the System", here I sit with no way to work...I have a lot of physical problems...and PTSD and Major Anxiety as well! Do Not Go with Jeff Diamond, Enough Said...

Worthless and expensive. Lawyer was so inept he had no idea what the my medical issues were and kept getting everything mixed up. The judge had to request for a outside doctor to review the case due to the mangling to the case. Thankfully I got approved but it was delayed months due to there fumbling.

They do not care about you. They don't keep you updated and they constantly put everything off. I fired them when denied after the reconsideration. I was not going to deal with them over another year or so (it's already been over a year) for the hearing.
The only reason I'm giving them one star is because there is an amazing lady who answers the phones sometimes named Debbie. She was very personable and really helpful. Just wish she didn't work at a place like this

Rarely heard from the office. During my actual court hearing my lawyer barely spoke up for me, got my diagnoses wrong and didn't bother to mention the crippling diagnoses I have! After it was over, I knew I was going to be denied. I could see it all over the judges face. My lawyer rushed out of there and was very impatient when I tried talking to her. Well guess what folks? I was denied and my lawyer chose not to pursue my case further which is fine. I'll get it done on my own. Find a better law office people!

I wish I had a better lawyer. Over 5 months and still don't have my benefits for my disability and it's not supposed to be over 4 months. They get paid and I dont. Also, these "secretaries" and "assistant" are not caring, really rude and disrespectful what we have been through! Get a better lawyer peeps!!!

Horrible customer service. I've never been treated so poorly by "professionals". If you happen to come in contact with Aaron or Michael, don't waste your time trying to have a conversation. In my experience all I obtained was a sigh, rolling of their eyes and walking away from me mid conversation. I get that everyone has their bad days but the experience I had was a bit excessive.
