She was always there to answer my questions and explain what our options were. One of many things I appreciated from Catherine was honesty. I came to this law firm about four months ago. I have gotten more results in the last four months than I did over a year and a half with a different attorney. Whenever I call the phone is ALWAYS answered and I always receive communication regarding the topic within 24 hours. My attorney has been accessible regardless of her schedule. I couldn't be happier with the results I have received so far.

Very unprofessional, charged a ridiculous amount for just emailing us back and fourth. Paid our retainer didn't feel like,moving on with this particular law firm and was charged double our retainer. Walked into court against the other party who was not represented, and still walked out with nothing. I've had better public defender's. Do not recommend.

Charged outrageous prices for essentially just copying and answering emails. Did not protect my assets, my children or me. Did not protect me from wrongful prosecution. Basically let the other side walk all over me. Had plentiful evidence to protect me and my children from a narcissistic drug abusing sociopath and did not. Did not refile the case and now the whole thing has started over.

Always extremely helpful, during the most stressful time in my life!

This firm supposedly ran through $4,000 dollars in two weeks. Charging outrageous prices just to send me emails. Michael Lucas worked more with my ex's attorney than he worked with me. Contacting me once via email the duration of time that he handled my case. I worked out a deal on my own with my ex without further contact from this firm. Now I owe an extra $2,628.68? I highly advise people looking elsewhere. You're better off taking your case laying down or bending over.

I was extremely impressed with the representation through Marrison Law. They had a difficult task I am a grandmother who had custody of my grandson due to a D&N case. I was fighting for the right to keep a child I had raised all his life. They never gave up and fought hard winning my case. In Colorado if you are not a biological parent you need an attorney who really knows family law as well as the DHS system. I cannot thank them enough for their representation and dedication. I received excellent legal services from Marrison Law my lawyer Makayla and her paralegal Danielle Jorgensen are very honest and understanding the best part was they respond quickly to questions I have hired 2 other lawyers in Colorado Springs for other cases and it took days to get an Answer back and I have no patience so having Makayla/Danielle respond quickly definitely made the experience better dealing with a court matter. My case only took maybe 2 months so I got part of my retainer back they were always upfront and willing to show me proof of what my retainer was used for I plan on using them again for my stepparent adoption case also the dog in the office is adorable so be ready for some puppy love when you visit.

Hired one of the lawyers with a $2500 retainer fee to help with child support and parenting time. Within 2 months my retainer was already gone. During that time I had moved and called in to update my address. Apparently the update never occurred and was never notified that my retainer was gone. So when I told them I no longer wanted their services they said I owe them $3400. Whatttttttt? How is that possible??? They refused to show me an itemized report and told me if I didn’t pay it they would just send it to collections.

I hired Marrison Family Law and had a fantastic experience. A nice man, Rex, called me back within the first day I inquired. He scheduled a free consultation with Pat, and she went through my options. My experience with Marrison Family Law was in two words "life saving". The knowledge and professionalism of this TEAM is second to none. At 57 years of age I found myself at a cross road I had never expected to face (DIVORCE). While in a devastating fog Mrs. Marrison and her Team supported me through the process legally and emotionally. I got the best outcome financially that I could have hoped to receive. Horrible, they didn't even check to see what paper work was already filled with the courts when I started my case on my own but told me that everything was good to go. Then my ex got granted a change of venue which they didn;t even try and fight to just allow him to do a phone conference. My ex did not respond to anything not even mediation and there was 1 month left until it was finalized and then they told me he asked for change of venue and they didn't guide me on any help for it being changed or even fight for it to stay here. Also, in the agreement I was supposed to pay 1,500 because we didn't have any property, estate or children to fight over it was just him wanting me to pay him alimony. Ended up only going to court for the mediation which he did not show. By time mediation happened I paid 1,500 to them, then it got changed of venue and because I e-mailed them 2 times to ask them what am I supposed to expect because it's going to a different county I got charge another 1,500 and all they said to me was the entire case will start over and if you want a lawyer you will have to find one there.

Absolutly love these people. Receptionist is polite and well spoken. The people who you can call and ask questions to are just as nice! I have called multiple law firms in regard to my husbands case and marrison family law has been the most helpeful and understanding out of all of them!

JAD handled my case. He was amazing along with his paralegal Kara.Thorough and honest. I would recommend JAD for any family case. However, the only issue I encountered was with billing. Although the payment guidelines are outlined in the contract, I needed to make an arrangement. I spoke with their accountant and I thought everything was fine. She informed me that the proposed arrangements should be acceptable but she would speak with Pat and if there was an issue she would contact me. She contacted me a month later and now the arrangement wasn't good, let alone she forgot about the entire conversation. I had to remind her a couple of times about the arrangement every time she called.

It is with endless gratitude to have the Marrison Law firm representing me for my

My experience with Marrison Law Firm was the most terrible experience ever. For the sum of $6,200.00 I only recieved a financial statement and I never met my attorney in person. Yes, that's right, all e-mails, repetitious, expensive e-mails. My divorce was a straight forward, no disputes, childcare plan already in place and agreed upon decision by both parties and kept being drug out by this law firm. I never could get a straight answer from the law firm. When I called about a matter, I was proceeded to be yelled at by my attorneys legal assistant. I have never been treated so rudely in my life! They even charged me for that phone call, which I disputed. After 6K spent I fired them, they still would not give me an estimate of how much more my divorce was going to cost. So I hired a paralegal for 600.00 and am divorced now. I wrote a letter to the chairman of the EL Paso County Fee dispute Arbitration Committee, but it wont do you any good! I'll tell you why! Because if the other party (Marrison Law Firm) is not willing to participate, then they can't do any further invesigation. Well why would Marrison Law want them to see how they are ripping you off! They want their money!. So here's my review. Two Thumbs down!
