Overcharged when attorneys left his firm

This case has taken a long time, but both Mr. Roy and Steven are great and so helpful.

I have not enough words for how angry I am with Eric Roy, and his staff members. Were great before. Now they're just acting like children, and probably stealing my money.

How do you support support someone that committed voter fraud

Tried adding me on Facebook, likely to try and be deceitful. Wouldn't respond to any messages as to why he was trying to add me. Very immature and unethical. I wouldn't recommend hiring this guy if you want a clear conscience.

Update: Feb 25th - Happy to announce I have Eric Roy Law Firm handling my Family Law Case. I definitely made the right choice and finally met Ruby. They mean business and will take care of you.

My point of contact so far is Ruby, she is awesome. She gives off a calm vibe that makes me believe that I have come to the right law firm.

7 days ago I was served paperwork, and now 2 days away from court date.
Unfortunately we couldn't get started on this 5 days ago since I did not have the fund to cover your consultation fee. Fortunately I did have Legal Zoom membership that help me at least get information on what I needed to do next.

Once I knew more how things would proceed, I contacted Eric Roy Law Firm.
This was T-minus 5 days now and I will be loosing 2 days because of the weekend.
My time is running out to file a response to the petition, really started to worry.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to speak with a Lawyer yet, but Ruby has been helpful. The only thing accomplished Friday was providing payment information and a pdf of the papers I was served.

The weekend passed, now it's Monday. T-minus 2 days to court date, Wednesday 9am.
Today I called Eric Roy Law Firm, Ruby was great. Transferred my to a co-associate to gather more information about my case for the Law Firm. Hopefully I will get to speak with a Lawyer this afternoon.

For now, I am waiting to hear back from the Law Firm.
I would like Eric Roy Law Firm to represent me, good or bad.

I will post again, for now this is an honest review from a new client point of view. I am barely in step 1, waiting for consultation. I wish I wasn't rushing but unfortunately this was one of life surprises for me. I wasn't planning on needing to prepare for a court case this year.

If I could give this man all the stars in the world i would. I love Eric and his staff. I have been going to Eric for 3 years now after being taken to court repeatedly for a child custody case. Before i came across his office i searched and searched for lawyers and was not satisfied. The moment i met Eric and had my first consultation with him i retained on the spot. Every time I call he never lacks knowledge of my case and he if isn't available right when i call he ALWAYS calls back shortly. I just want to thank Eric Roy for the excellent work he did on my child custody case. Our case was long and drawn out but he was constantly helpful ..... we won !!! I would recommend Eric because he has the experience in child custody that everyone can benefit from. I appreciate all of his staff for being cordial and helpful with all of my questions. I also appreciate how he worked with me and my financial situation.

Eric Roy is the most honest and respectful attorney out there. He helped me with my child support/custody case. It is hard to rely on another person to speak or fight for you. Eric fought for me in court like he was fighting for a friend. Every response he made was what I wanted to say. I read that he comes from a family of attorney's, that would explain his fairness and honesty. And respectfulness. I HIGHLY reccommned Eric Roy for any family court issues you have. He also has put together an amazingly helpful and friendly staff. It is had to find a good attorney, Eric Roy is definitely that attorney you are looking for.

My experience with this law firm has been wonderful! Mr. Roy is kind, compassionate and extremely organized. I think he should teach a class to other attorneys regarding his filing system and communication with clients. Alex and Karina are the best assistants and they truly care about you as an individual. Went to see Eric over a divorce and issue and custody. He is very handsome and the staff was friendly at first but after paying for a consultation ($50), he explained that the case was filed in California and he wasn't licensed to practice law there so he could not give any information and that he wouldn't be able to help with this case. That's fine but when I asked for a refund of the consultation fee, they refused and his staff was COMPLETELY rude and totally disrespectful!! I don't like the way he does business and I will never bring a legal issue to his office again! I recommend going elsewhere. I cannot believe how immature and childish they acted. his office manager, Danielle talked over me and was rude. At one point I said I would never come back and his employee, Alex, asked " How many cases will you ever have ?" He also insulted me, used vulgar language and told me that I must be hard up to ask for a refund! I actually just believe that if you couldn't help me in the first place, why the hell would you charge me for a consultation?? A refund would have been the RIGHT thing to do. Clearly, he does not have the ethics that I do.

UPDATE: In regards to what the owner wrote. I am not sure how you can tell me thatI yelled hysterically at your employees. I find it very funny that you say that because your law clerk, Alex Ghibaudo was the one who did it. I looked him up with the state bar of Nevada and discovered that he was a lawyer until he got suspended for among other things DEMEANING Behavior to other lawyers. I read the report about him which included that he was arrested numerous times for assaulting his wife!! It is public record !! I find it hard to believe that you would even say that happened a different way. However, you do need to look good to other potential customers and I guess this is your only way to do it. I wouldn't even bring a ticket to you after the way he treated me! I don't even feel comfortable with that! But, at least Danielle Salazar gave you 5 stars and you made her happy! That is Danielle Denton-Salazar, your EMPLOYEE!

HORRIBLE ATTORNEY! SCREWED UP MY WHOLE CASE. ERIC ROY HAS NO REAL EXPERIENCE AND WE LEARNED THAT THE HARD WAY.

This is the worst Attorney ever. I thought I could trust him but I should have went with my first instinct that he was way too young. He's not even in his 30's. He has no idea what he's doing and his prices are too much for the experience he has. For what I paid I should have at least retained an attorney whose been practicing for more than 5 years. I met with him once and since then never spoke to anyone but his teenage receptionist. I would not recommend this attorney to anyone. I hope I can save you the time and the money. I recently went with Kunin and Carmin and have really noticed a difference.
