One star is too much for Dan hill. My fiancee is now serving a 2-5 year prison sentence because Daniel Hills lack of proper counsel. He was impossible to reach during the entire court proceedings. His secretary would give us wrong court dates and refused to ever let us speak with him, at one point she even told us our emails were all being intercepted by her as well. After months of trying to reach him he finally got back to me. He told me his "secretary was doing her job by not allowing anyone to get thru to him" but he was well aware at our attempts but he "owed us nothing". he said it was "a joke" what he was getting paid to represent my fiancee. That he had "clients paying him top dollar and that's where his main focus needed to be" when he did come to court, he was so unprepared, had no idea what was going on, russeling through paperwork, it was Embarrassing to watch and I knew immediately how screwed we were because of an ill prepared lawyer. have I mentioned the only witness in this case said it never happened ? Dan hill coerced his client into taking a deal instead of doing any proper legal work that would have ensured his release. He refused to even try to get his bail lowered to say goodbye to his children in case worst case scenario. But despite everything he got the max sentence for a crime he didn't commit. We asked Dan Hill to immediately appeal on the grounds he didn't do this, the victim and sole witness say he didn't do this either, so how was any of this possible? Mr hill then stated when he agreed to the plea deal he admitted his guilt. When he only agreed to the plea deal because Hill said that was his only chance. He's a liar. He only cares about money. I'm sure if you have enough money and mr.hill doesn't feel like it's a "joke what he's being paid" then you might have a chance of him doing his job. He does not deserve to be an attorney. Shame on you Dan Hill.

The entire staff at the Hill Firm effectively communicated with me throughout the entire process. I could say many things that may convince somebody to use Dan Hill as their criminal defense attorney. But above all the rest; Dan became my friend, my defender and was willing to sacrifice his career in my behalf. Ive never actually have had to use a lawyer ever in my life. However, because the court system arrest my fiancé (who is a 3x war veteran from the Marine Corp) for a warrant (we had no idea. we got pulled over for a traffic violation) the day after Christmas and also the same day we put our service dog down. I was lost, alone and unsure what I was suppose to do. I called around that evening frantically looking for information on what’s the next steps to get him out of jail. He fought the system tooth and nail to get him out as quickly as possible but he didn’t get released until 9 days later. We spent New Years part, and couldn’t even contact each other due to the case. After everything we went through, the case is now over and Dan truly is the best lawyer Ive ever seen. A lot cards were stacked against us and we STILL won! Do not hire this guy. I hired him because my mom’s friend used to work for him and she recommended him to us, plus I saw he got good reviews (which is shocking after how he treated me). I am reporting him to the state bar. He lied to me constantly, never responded to my calls or texts, when you call his office he’s never in, he will show up to your court dates late and looks completely lost and not prepared, scrambling through his paperwork and when they ask if he’s ready he laughs and says “no”. When he doesn’t show up late he will send someone in for him without letting you know beforehand and that attorney will also show up late to your court date and act lost and confused. On the most important court date Dan Hill is nowhere to be found and doesn’t call or text to let me know he won’t be there and is sending someone else in for him. Completely unacceptable since I paid him in full, upfront. The very few times I got to speak to him he told me he would do things that never got done. He didn’t work on my case whatsoever and had zero decency to answer any of my questions or concerns. He doesn’t care about his clients, just their money. Overall, this guy is a liar and unprofessional, he did absolutely nothing for me. The only time this guy will act like he cares is when you tell him you are reporting him to the bar because you have proof of everything he did, only then will he write you a long email, too late for that. Again, do not hire this guy he is untrustworthy and will not help you.
