I would highly recommend Reed & Mansfield. While in the midst of executor duties following my mother's passing in PA, my great-aunt passed a few months later in Las Vegas. Since my mother was the only executor listed in her aunt's will, I was left trying to figure out how to handle the estate. I made calls to various attorneys in Vegas, not feeling comfortable with prices or the information I was given. I was finally able to reach the attorney who worked with the (retired) attorney who had written my great-aunt's will, and he referred me to Jon Reed who had handled the estate when his father passed.
What a blessing this was! I left a voicemail at the number I found online, and Jon returned my call the same day. He was very patient and took time to answer all my questions thoroughly. While I was still not ready to "jump", I took a week or so to make my decision. When I called back, I left a message that I was ready to proceed. My call was returned the same day by Jon's son Daniel, as Jon was out of town at the time. Daniel then handled my case, and he was equally as pleasant to work with as his father. The fee was disclosed up front and never waivered from the amount that I was quoted. My great-aunt's estate fell under a process called a "set aside", and the fee charged by Reed & Mansfield was very reasonable and about $500 less than what I had found with another attorney. Although the process was relatively simple (for the Reed's!!) and the earnings on this case were likely minimal compared to their larger cases, they handled my case with every bit of attention and professionalism as they would give to any of their cases. My calls/emails were always responded to within 24 hours (usually within just a few hours), even on the weekends when I would send an email with expectations of a response not until Monday morning. This is truly a family business oriented toward helping, and not ripping off, the common man (or woman!). Thank you!!!
And by the way, the attorney I worked with in PA earned a MUCH larger fee on my mother's estate, and yet was much less prompt at returning calls and efficiency in general...

An old friend of mine was nearly killed in an accident years ago. She went to a particular ex-bodybuilder-tuned-attorney that any Southern Nevadan is familiar with and VERY tired of seeing on TV for the last twenty years. Doug Reed was very helpful. Always responds to email, text or phone call. They are very honest and doesn't charge like the other big lawyers but they provide excellent service and very good work in comparable to the other lawyers who charges more. I will refer any of my friends and family when they need a lawyer in Reed and Mansfield specialty.

The only info Jonathon seemed interested in was how much was estate worth. His prices fluctuated based on that and your ignorance of law/probate process. I don't want free legal services but I don't want to be ripped off either. I recommend avoiding this firm like the plague.

Being from out of state and needing to set up two separate probates, I contacted Reed and Mansfield.
Both cases were handled in the most timely fashion possible. The responsiveness of Jon Reed was amazing. If I sent him an e-mail in the evening, he responded the next morning. If I sent an e-mail in the morning, he responded the same day. The final probate case was settled on a Friday. A check was in my mail box the following Monday! First off, every time you call you get to speak directly with Jon Reed or his son Doug Reed.
one doesn't have to get through multiple case workers to be able to speak with your lawyer.
My father and I were involved in a auto accident last year. We both were very impressed with the professionalism of their business, and the results that they achieved.
You wont see any fancy billboards or TV ads throughout town advertising for them. This is another way that they are able to pass on savings to their clients.
