This was the stressful and disappointing 2 years of my life, where John Bigler refused to negotiate with the opposite counsel my resolution to my divorce, and submitting negotiations I did not approved. He drag my case with so much unecesaary office paper work, until he drain my over 5K attorney fees deposit. He even refused to meet with the opposite counsel when they were also trying to meet and I was never told about it. I ended up hiring a new attorney which resolved my case in less than 2 months. And I got everything I had asked John to negotiate for me and he had refused. I am finally divorced and wished I had changed to a different attorney way earlier than I did. If your case is under John. Watch out for your money, and try to communicate with your ex about what their process and demands have been submitted to John. Is the only way to keep it honest. Don't be fool by the staff customer service skills, this does not mean honesty.

Very disappointed on how they cant finish my judgment without wanting more money,especially after paying 7k$.charge for every single thing. I still have to do my own paperwork after paying them through the nose.

Looking for a good lawyer to represent you is not easy, some promise miracles that are nowhere attainable. My child modification/support case was complicated due to the other party not being cooperative. At the initial consultation with Mr. Bigler explained the exact steps that where needed in order to get the other party to cooperate. His staff is polite and very attentive. The case moved smoothly and Mr. Bigler was able to present before a judge 23 counts of contempt against the other party, and was able to win on my behalf on all counts. If you are looking for a lawyer that will fight for you and not give you the run around, I highly recommend Mr. Bigler.

I had originally hired another well-known family law attorney. On my first two appointments, I sat in the waiting room for over an hour, only to be told he would not make the meetings, I walked out.
John Bigler picked up my case and communicated quickly, we met and had a very candid conversation on how to best strategize and proceed forward. When I left his office, I felt relieved. I had a court date the next day, and he was all over it. He was upfront and honest and explained the expectations in the court room and how the proceedings might go, and provided me with a no non-sense approach, no hype or false expectations. He helped me to navigate some tough emotional decisions, and was available to answer my questions, which put me at ease. When we had court appearances, he helped calm my nerves. After my divorce was settled, the outcome was much more favorable than I had anticipated. My divorce matter was fairly complex, there was a multitude of dynamics surrounding my case such as child custody evaluations, (which he guided me through the entire way), support issues, retirement assets, and other property division, all very overwhelming. John Bigler is on his game - he is knowledgeable, reliable, and really understands his trade. He turned a very stressful situation into a more manageable situation. His office staff is warm, friendly, and very accommodating. John will always be my legal counsel, and I highly recommend him to anyone in need of family law.

GROUND BREAKING PATERNITY CASE!
A couple of years ago life took a turn that left me fighting to be a part of our sons life. Before I retained John Bigler my outlook was grim as my ex had hired an attorney unbeknownst to me and was setting me up to secure her move away. From my understanding, move away cases are some of the most difficult cases in family court. I had no idea what my rights were as a father and the only thing I wish I had done differently was hire Mr. Bigler sooner. If you are a father, do not wait to hire an attorney after a separation or divorce!

John Bigler is an excellent attorney. I was the petitioner in my case, and as the father, I was concerned about my future with our son. It terrified me that the court was to decide the fait of our relationship. I went through hell because of the unfortunate reality that the respondent was determined to keep the upper hand no matter what the cost (we could have paid for an Ivy League education for our son by this point). The case started off really rocky when I received a less than favorable (and unfair) evaluation by the evaluator assigned to our case.

The case ended up going to trial and when the trial date eventually came, it was continued a few times for unforeseen circumstances, one being that the respondent hired a second attorney, a "super lawyer," who personally knew the original judge overseeing our case. Having John as my attorney gave me a fighting chance on this roller coaster of a journey. The trial lasted for 3 days over approximately a 6 week period. Mr. Bigler came to court guns blazing so to speak. He had prepared for the fight of my life & it showed throughout not only the trial, but in all the correspondence that took place between his office and myself. He knew my case inside and out! Not only did he prep me well for trial, he read through literally hundreds of text message and email correspondence between the respondent and I to gather the top information for the best arguments that would show the court how involved I was in our sons life, and what a detriment it would be to our relationship if he moved away. When everything was said and done, against all odds, WE WON!

Through the 2 years of heavy litigating the respondent went through 4 ATTORNEYS! Including the aforementioned "Super Lawyer" and even an Appellate Attorney, when she tried to appeal the case. I owe it to John Bigler & his excellent staff including his amazing paralegal Azjhuree' Brown for helping me secure our father/son relationship. At the end of the day you truly get what you pay for and John Bigler was & is worth every penny! I firmly believe that John is not only a stellar attorney, but he is also a kind and compassionate human being. He out performed my expectations and paved the way for a new secured life with my son.

Zero stars,actually.This guy was court appointed to represent my children's interests in a custody battle.He ignored their wishes,as well as reports from children's services,ignored my calls and letters.Subsequently my kids were turned over to their abusive father..Then this guy ,who as i said was COURT APPOINTED,has the gall to send me a bill for his "services"! It's disgusting that he is still in practice....

Hands down the BEST ATTORNEY in the Valley. John handle a messy divorce and child visitation order for me and through it all was a rockstar. His years of experience keep him calm and steady (an absolute must during an emotional time).
