I can't say enough good things about this law firm. They are good listeners and explainers. They know what they are doing. They really helped me. The people I first met with made me feel very comfortable revealing things that would help my case, even though they were personal and problematic. They made sure that things I didn't want disclosed further were protected. They were always responsive and explained what was happening. My lawyer almost always picked up the phone when I called and, if he couldn't, he called me right back. They were realistic and fair when discussing my settlement strategy with me. In 2008 while at the Bass Proshop outdoor sporting store I was on a rock climbing wall. The wall was 30 feet high. I was coming down and at 25 feet the rope broke. I fell and broke several vertebrae in my spine, broke my pelvis, bit my tongue almost off, chipped 3 teeth. I lost my house and almost lost my job. Ten years later ,I still have pain . R Rex Parris law firm is a joke. They didn't guide me or fight for me. Not once during the settlement process did they sit with me and ask, after we take our 33 and 1/3 will what you lost be covered. They're supposed to make you whole again or close to it. So because of their lack of caring I'm still paying( literally paying $ ) for making the biggest mistake of my life by choosing R rex parris law firm.
This was a real case, not some fender bender should have got a real attorney!!!!
After the whole case was over many of my friends said that if I would have chosen a better attorney I wouldn't be in such a bad position.
And the billboard says they're fighters and they care. I'm glad everyone else is doing ok. Not my experience at all. Another veteran taken advantage of.
As far as the response from the owner. I said you were doing a good job only because I didn't know any better. So you took advantage of my lack of knowledge of the process.

I called the Parris Law firm After my accident. I was in a lot of physical pain, I couldn’t work for a while and I struggled with my finances. Other than working my 9-5 being a professional boxer I couldn’t train until i was ok’d by my physical therapist. This put me through a lot of stress while trying to hold things down having 3 kids with one on the way at the time. Contrary to the silly electronic billboards around town, they only accept cases that have the prospect of generating big bucks for THEIR FIRM; so even though you have a legitimate action, dont expect much from them if they cant see dollar signs. Just sayin'. Kind of like Larry Parker promulgating, "I will fight for you," except in small parentheses their motto further states, "only if your lawsuit is lucrative."

Hopefully the new mayor won't charter anything out of his town. Especially his SCE and Solar plan, which was resented there and we won't accept here for the same reasons- half S bill to SCE and the other half from the city equals 109% of the same cost to the customer and extraneous expense to city and county employees, not to mention the citizens. That cannibalizes an economy fast and reproduces what most want to get rid of- which is the toll that poverty takes. Plus California's prisons and graveyards or morgues aren't for people who couldn't afford to pay for utilities, which everyone holds a small share in - not just the city attorney mayors.

If life doesn't feel normal here I resort to the defense of the ACLU and people like that.

Called Parris about a matter that it turned out was not within their specialization. Caroline talked through the issue extensively with me, took notes summarizing my situation, recommended an attorney they trust who does specialize in my issue, and emailed to him her notes, so he would already have the information in front of him when I called. Fantastic service from a company who was not going to be able to bill me a dime! Wish all lawyers operated this way.
