My partner and I chose Susan Pai because she is gay friendly and openly supports the LGBT community. I called another immigration lawyer who offered us a consultation. The lawyer said she has to charge an additional fee because of the "problems" with my trans partner. We did not hire that lawyer. We spoke with several more top immigration lawyers but we did not feel comfortable or secure with any of them. We felt we were being brushed off as each of them assured us they could accomplish our immigration goals but failed to explain exactly how. We were not even sure if we were speaking with a lawyer or paralegal most of the time. We were also really concerned because we know the process is challenging but they made it sound like Obama was still President .Susan explained what was going to happen in great detail and mapped it all out on a giant flow chart. My partner and I sat with her for several hours discussing how she would handle our case. We had a problem with a prior failed application where it was clear that the lawyer just signed off on a bunch of forms and templates that they used for every case. We feel that if we pay a lawyer for his or her time that we should get the benefit of hiring that lawyer. We don’t think it’s fair to pay for a lawyer’s time and then have our case prepared by a paralegal. We didn’t have any problem with the work the paralegal did at our old lawyer’s office – we just felt that we should have been charged a fair price. We feel well represented by Susan and we thank her for always treating us with dignity and respect.

Really happy I hired Miss Pai for my case. The DMV registered me to vote without my,knowledge. And it became a problem when I went to get my citizenship. Miss Pai cleared it all up quickly. If I had hired her early on, I would have been better off. Hind sight in 20.20

My elderly mother is the full time caretaker of my disabled brother. Our family has used up our life savings to pay lawyers and we have nothing to show for it. We thought there was nothing left to be done because her case is a difficult one and she was running out of time. But we kept looking for a lawyer for her because we couldn’t give up on our mom. We’ve even considered lawyers outside of Florida and as far away as New York. Every lawyer we talked to said they couldn’t help. A family friend told us to call Susan Pai. From the first time we met her, we knew Susan would be our last lawyer. She was honest about the many challenges in my mom’s case. She mapped out several strategies and discussed each one with us. We had and have many questions about the case – some of which Susan was able to answer but many that she could not. We decided to go forward with Susan. We don’t know what the future holds but we are confident that our mother finally has competent legal counsel. If you haven’t been able to find an honest lawyer, call Susan Pai.

I saw Susan Pai in court and was blown away. There were at least 20 lawyers there and not one would stand up for these poor people in court who had no idea what was going on. I’m glad there are still lawyers like Susan Pai around. I enjoyed watching her in action.

I have attended many seminars conducted by Susan Pai. Her knowledge of immigration law is unsurpassed. Sometimes I don’t want to hear what she thinks is coming down because she is always right. She has this uncanny ability to predict the future when it comes to immigration. I’ve known her for over 6 years and she predicted what is happening now 5 years ago. I call her the Immigration Nostradamus. Seriously, I’ve learned a lot from Susan not only about the future of immigration but about ethics, professionalism, and her favorite topic: due diligence. She has fundamentally changed the way I work up my cases. I in turn am now training others. If you have a chance to catch her on the radio, on TV or at a seminar, I highly recommend you do so.

I was about to get married to a non American. We searched for an immigration lawyer so we did things the right way. Every lawyer we met with before Susan agreed to take our case but our meeting with Susan couldn’t have been more shocking. She kept looking down at her file and up at my soon to be husband. She asked him so many questions that it started getting uncomfortable. Then she asks him where his ex-wife lives except he’s never been married. Susan has discovered that yes he was married and his ex-wife is living 2 miles away from my apartment. The background reports showed my fiancee’s car parked at her apartment building during the day while I was at work supporting both of us! I would not have found out about my fiancee’s little big secret had we not gone to see Susan until it was too late. Right after he got his green card no doubt. I wonder why didn’t the other lawyers say anything? I can’t imagine what my situation would be now if we had never met with Susan. I am very grateful to her. She was not intimidated by my fiancée at all, despite his drama. She refused to take our case and she told him why. This lawyer has real integrity. The others not so much.

I called Susan Pai to ask about renewing my green card. This lawyer is honest. After answering her questions, she told me I don’t need a lawyer to do this. She told me what I needed to do and I did it and success.

Susan Pai conducts interesting, entertaining and relevant immigration seminars. She is a wealth of information, has a vast breadth of knowledge, SHE WORKED WITH STEPHEN MILLER, and has had the most amazing experiences and career yet she is very down to earth and approachable. She rescheduled her departing flight so she could spend more time with us students after the conference concluded!

No one knows the Philippines better than Attorney Pai. She saved me from 6 months waiting time by giving good advice. Even though she was far away, I trusted her after I talked with her on Skype. She knows all the common mistakes we make in the Philippines and tells us what to do and what not to do. Attorney Pai worked in Makati for 2 years so I feel very comfortable with her. We had a smooth process no problems. She even helped us at the airport when we arrived to America. Thank you Attorney Pai God Bless you!

We had a difficult appeal from a denial of a business visa case. We had all but given up when a friend gave us Susan's name. She agreed to take our case and was able to successfully appeal the intention to deny. We had a blue chip lawyer from a big law firm to whom we paid a large retainer. This guy wrote books and taught other lawyers so we thought we were in good hands. What we found, however, was that our case like many others were handed off to underlings and had very little to do with the lawyer we hired. Susan was a breath of fresh air. She does all the work herself even though she is also a senior lawyer. Our case was in good hands just in the nick of time. We won our appeal and our business was able to continue uninterrupted. We have used Susan's services ever since and happily so.

(Translated by Google) Susan helped me get my citizenship and I could not be happier! She is so sweet and kind. She makes you feel like you do not have to be ashamed of anything in your past and she's with you the whole time you're in immigration. We spend a lot of time together. When I got to USCIS, I felt really good and I felt even better with Susan on our side all the time. You can tell the people respect her. I give Susan my full recommendation!

I have been Susan Pai's client for over four years. At this point, she is like family. She has helped us from the fiancee process all the way to my wife recently becoming a citizen. There are many things I could say about her as a lawyer from being intimately familiar with the culture in the Philippines to being extremely knowledgeable about issues unique to military families. Looking back when we started this adventure my wife and I did not want to believe immigration was so difficult. We thought it was just filling out papers which is what most of the lawyers we met said. I see now why Susan insisted on doing things in a very meticulous way. She always says a trained monkey can fill out forms and that's what you pay a lawyer for. In all these years, we have seen many of our friends run into a lot of problems as their cases went through crazy happenings. But our case went very smoothly from visa to marriage to green card to another green card to citizenship! In fact, my wife became a citizen right around the same time she got her 12 year green card, just like Susan said she would. Susan is a no-nonsense woman. She is going to tell you like it is. If you listen to her, she will take care of you. If you do not listen to her I feel sorry for you lol. I like that she has taught my wife over these last few years how to handle herself in many real life situations. It has made me feel better about my wife being able to look after herself. We both appreciate what Susan has done for our family.

I highly recommend Susan as an immigration attorney. She’s very knowledgeable and up to date with the immigration laws that other immigration attorneys were not even aware of. I’ve consulted with a few attorneys and she stands out as the best. She cares about her clients and will work diligently to get things done. Our family are grateful that we came across her!

The immigration process to America is no joke! It takes a lot of work.

Susan Pai is diligent in keeping up to date with all changes to rules introduced by the government at any point, she researched any areas that were unique to my relative’s case, and she was always one phone call or text away when questions arose.

She explains everything. Her family is Christian from North Korea where they kill you for being Christian! Susan knows these matters are life and death!

My spouse and I got our Green cards and or citizenship approved with Ms. Pai’s office representing us.

After being stuck in the hell hole of immigration backlog for many years, we resigned ourselves to our fate. A friend of ours insisted we contact Ms. Pai. She is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and creative.

Ms. Pai is very conservative, crosses all Ts and dots all Is. We had never had a lawyer explain the approach and process the way Ms. Pai did. We were very comfortable with her.

Despite all we had gone through we gave it a final try and we are glad we did. Ms. Pai made a strong and creative legal argument that won our case. She is relentless. You couldn’t ask for a better advocate to be on your side than her.

Ms. Pai is outstanding.

She is one of the best in the field of immigration law. Her experience as an investigator, in law enforcement and working with Congress is invaluable to her clients.

She has incredible insight into how the government views immigration applications. Ms. Pai is also a highly experienced interrogator. The manner in which she prepares her clients to deal with immigration is invaluable. I appreciated her spending the time with my wife so she would not only do well with immigration but so she would be able to handle any situation. My wife’s application was approved and we were both well prepared for the interview.

I can’t stress enough how valuable Ms. Pai’s help is. She is unlike any other lawyer I have dealt with. I have referred family members and friends to her over the years. They have all had similar experiences. In one case, a couple planned to proceed foolishly.

Ms. Pai put her foot down and insisted they do things the right way. Thank God they did. She stopped them from making a life and death mistake. I can’t say enough about Ms. Pai. I would recommend her to anyone who is struggling through the immigration process.

Attorney Pai is a honest woman and kind. She tell us the truth even if we don want to hear. She made us to get much information. Much much more than any other layers. It was much work. She save us thousands dollars. We get our green card after 6 months. Incredible. We have 3 lawyers before Susana and achieve nothing except spending money. Susana, thank you for helping our family. Our nightmare became our American dream. Our children are in college. We have good jobs, drivers license, the number social security. We are not worrying. We don fear policies. We are very content in our lives. Thank you love and friendship.

My husband and I were screwed by our former lawyer. Two weeks prior to our immigration interview, we were desperately searching for a new lawyer whom we  could trust. I came across Atty. Susan Pai on Google. There were 5 lawyers from my search and her name was on topmost. I considered it divine providence that when I contacted the 2nd and 3rd lawyers in the list, their phones were on voicemail mode.

I finally dialed Atty. Susan’s number and she personally answered. Her voice exuded warmth and she was very accommodating. She asked so many questions to fully understand the extent of our concern. We talked for an hour and a half. (Unlike our former lawyer who would give  us only 10 minutes of free consultation.) She advised me to contact two more lawyers whom she knows are good and who she fully trusts for me to have other options and get a feel of who I would be most comfortable with.

I discussed with my husband my conversation with Atty. Susan. We both had become wary of lawyers because of our  experience with our former lawyer. But my husband said that not all lawyers are bad and so we both decided to  give Atty. Susan our trust.

As soon as we decided to be under her services, Atty. Susan began an extensive due diligence on our status. Overnight, she won our confidence that we had made the right decision in choosing her to represent us as we witnessed her genuine and sincere concern for us. She expertly guided us on what to do even  going through the process of a mock interview that lasted for four hours. She made the corrections in my I-485 form in time for our immigration interview. Everything she said was fact-based. She was truthful and told us things matter-of-factly even if they were the stuff we would not want to hear.

With her expert guidance, we passed the actual interview.

We couldn’t be more grateful  that we met her.

I wish I could give Susan more than 5 stars. We asked a lot of lawyers to explain the process for us before we found Susan. She was the only lawyer who took the time to thoroughly explain he entire process and 5 years into the future. When I first called Susan, she is the one who answered the phone and spoke with me. When me and my husband met with her she answered all our questions. Susan gave us the names of two other lawyers to call. I thought that was amazing. After we met with her my husband said This is our lawyer but we went ahead and spoke with the two other lawyers she recommended. They were both seemed like good lawyers but we really wanted to have Susan work on our case. I can’t even describe how scared I was. I heard so many horror stories. Susan worked with us step by step. She has a good system to check, double check and triple check. We were shocked at how complicated immigration is and how the smallest thing can trip you up. Susan took her time to get to know us and tell our story. She made sure we included anything immigration might ask us for. She also prepared us for the interview. I got my green card 2 weeks after our interview! I have lawyers in my family and they didn’t understand why it was taking so long to send in our application. It wasn’t easy dealing with our families but we listened to Susan and we are glad we did. We have friends who sent their applications before we did and they are still waiting for their green cards, failed the application or the interview. From the bottom of our heart we thank Susan.

When I was young I messed up and got deported. I came back, stayed out of trouble and worked hard. I learned how to do without. I got married and had kids I was blessed with a beautiful family. But I was always looking over my shoulder. Every day I was afraid to lose it all. I lived this way a long time. It wasn’t jail I was scared of. I was terrified of losing my family. Even if you have money it’s not easy and I respect that. My wife begged me to see Miss Susan Pai but I didn’t have any more trust for lawyers. Sue and my wife kept talking. After one half year my wife showed me what they did. I felt so bad that my wife had been working so hard on her own. Then I knew I had to try for my family. We went for it. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I thank The Almighty because I am finally a full citizen of the only country I’ve ever known. Thank you Sue for sticking with me through all the bad times, For not letting me give up and mostly for not giving up on me.

This review is based on 7 years with Susan Pai my lawyer. I first hired Susan for my DACA. At that time she had a lot of staff and it was hard to talk with her directly but I was really happy with the results which were my work authorization for 3 years. After those years me and my wife applied for a regular green card. That was a lot harder because we had to make a not very easy decision to go back to my country which I had a lot of fear of doing. Susan hooked us up with a lawyer in Mex. and he helped us while we were there. That made things go a lot smoother. It was much better with a lawyer here in the United States and in Mexico. He also came with us to the border. I don’t think it would’ve worked if he was not with us because border patrol was so rude. He argued with us and said I wasn’t eligible to return. If Mr. Brennan wasn’t with us I don’t think it would’ve worked. We got back ok and I got my green card 3 months later. It felt like a knife was pointing at my backside all my life was gone. It was pure. freedom. I didn’t think I could become a United States citizen. Susan and my wife made me apply. I didn’t think I could pass. Susan spent a lot of time with me practicing and she told my wife how to practice at home. It took about 6 months of hard work but I passed the second time around. Susan is stubborn like my wife I guess that’s why we picked her jajaja. I didn’t know I could become legal. I didn’t think I’d make it back to Cali from Mex. I didn’t think I could ever become a citizen. I didn’t think I’d could stop looking over my shoulder for the rest of my life or live more than half my life. I didn’t think we could afford a lawyer to fix my situation. She is very smart and kind. No BS. She will push you to do it all right even if you don’t want to. I learned a lot from her not just about immigration but about doing things the right way is the only way to win. She is not our lawyer she is out friend.

We were not expecting much as we had had quite bad luck with almost every counselor contacted. We were pleasantly surprised. Dr. Pai succeeded where others failed. She was our last, best hope. She surprised us. We are exceedingly pleased and have retained her to counsel other family members. Very fortunate we did not give up before trying once again.

I have come to know Susan very well over the last several months. She has the utmost integrity and goes above and beyond to help her clients. This strong sense of integrity also means that she chooses to represent those individuals/families that truly want to be citizens of the US and are willing to earn the right to be called a US citizen by their willingness to be law abiding contributing members of our nation. If I was an immigrant needed legal assistance, I would be honored to have her represent me as she fights for what she believes in.

Susan Pai is one of the kind who is absolutely passionate about what she does and believes in justice. When our family had an emergency situation in Jacksonville of Florida where we were tourists, she dropped everything to help us and she worked day and night for the next 3 days. We didn’t think we would get the result we wanted due to how urgent the situation was, but WE DID amazingly. We couldn’t thank Susan Pai enough. Susan, thank you so much for making it easy for me to pass my Naturalization Interview! I could hardly hold myself from hugging you today!!!

I would recommend Susan Pai to anyone. First, she would take your case only if she is 100% sure you win. Second, she makes you feel so comfortable, and at ease, when talking about your "problems of the past", even embarrassing ones! And third, not only she has lots of knowledge and experience, that I could witness today at my interview (yes, she will be there WITH you!), but she knows how to "read" the situation on the spot to make it most beneficial for the client.

She made the whole process really painless, and it took only 80 days from filing to the Interview. Susan, THANK YOU AGAIN!
