Goldman created my Gun Trust in 2016. In subsequent years, I've had questions as situations arose, he answered all promptly and satisfactorily.

Paid the fee just to get a referral and no follow up.

Our lawyer left this law firm towards the beginning of our case. Prior to her leaving I asked for an invoice to find out where we were at with our retainer. According to them in the office my retainer had barely been touched. I was told I wouldn’t be charged for emails and only charged for phone calls. This is why we agreed to use this office. After my lawyer left they said that over half of my retainer had been used. The invoices from my lawyer and mr. Goldman’s office did not match up. My lawyer tried her best going back and fourth with them to resolve issues and whatever they were charging me for. Mr.goldman himself informed me that we were “discounted on many things” and if they were to charge me actual price then I would be out of pocket more. After agreeing to whatever he said because I was so frustrated about the situation he offered me $1,000 credit for estate planning. He is mistaken if he thinks this actually makes up for taking money out of our pockets. We will be contacting the bar association about this and I would never recommend this office to anyone. If I could give 0 stars I most certainly would. Unprofessional. And the reply to this post speaks even more volumes. They don’t want to take responsibility for what they did to not only me but to other people. If you look at the reviews you will see another one almost exactly the same as mine. And yes I use a different name online over my actual name.

As with anyone it came an unexpected time where a family member had gotten in trouble and I honestly didn’t know where to start. I scoured the net and ask many locals for references and came across this firm. I called in to set up an appointment with a lawyer to see if they could indeed help me. I was introduced to Holli Dean and discussed the matter with her detailing the fact that this was legal help for a family member who was currently incarcerated but depended on me financially. She accepted the case and gave the impression that she understood the circumstances. I expressed that I was working on a limited income but based off the conversation we had over the phone I agreed to come in 2 days later with $2000 cash. All the money I had to my name by the way. Long story short Holli dean was late to the first appearance she barely took advantage of seeing the client I hired her to represent but over a 3 month period offered me NO information about the case even tho the client who was incarcerated gave her permission to speak with me. Holli deans only concern was about a payment claiming that I never honored some supposed agreement when in fact the only correspondence I got from her was a receipt from the initial $2000 I paid her. As I exclusively expressed to her had I knew about a payment arrangement then I would’ve said up front whether or not I could afford to honor it.Holli dean ultimately requested to be excused from the case. When I asked what was the $2000 used for and the only evidence they could present me we for phone calls made and most of which were less than 5 minutes. I don’t see how I legally paid $2000 for phone calls and learned NOTHING about the case at all. I don’t see how any of that is ok or justified to just extort people. With the money I paid her I could’ve bonded my family member out so they could’ve continued working as they were before prior to this and gotten BETTER representation from a far better attorney. I truly wouldn’t mention this firm to anyone who needed help based off how I was handled by a member of their team and that’s a shame she would jeopardize the integrity of that firm.

When the attorney left that was handling my they falsified charges that were previously stated that they were free. I have asked repeatedly for a statement and have yet to receive one. David Goldman sent me an email stating that I owed them. Still no proof. Nothing has been filed or completed. I am a single mother trying to adopt a child who I love dearly and David Goldman is taking advantage of the situation for more money. They recommended that I stay with the same attorney however they are keeping my money.

I originally set up my trust on the very basic level a few months ago via my local FFL dealer. Nothing against them but I had the feeling given the current political climate that it may not be set up correctly.. I read several of the blogs published by David Goldman and decided to call his office. I talked to Elisabeth at the office, then Mr. Goldman. Mr. Goldman's Gun Trust service is outstanding. I live in Missouri a very difficult state for SBR types of NFA weapons. The Trust was accepted by the BATF along with my form 20 in under FOUR months. Several of my friends have since used the trust service to obtain their Tax Stamp hassle free.

I used their service to create a NFA Gun Trust. Process could not be simpler. Even when I made a silly mistake on my first supmission, they provided me a payment code so I could correct my mistake and download a new set of trust documents. I personally think that these reviews are fake when it comes down to this law firm. I have reached out to this law firm 4 times total with no call backs or anything in a family law situation.

I spoke with attorney Charlie Filder about my case and explained to him in details what I was facing and up against. He pulled records and looked into everything as if he could help me. After speaking to him over the phone for 30 minutes for the free consultation, I specifically let him know that I would want him to be my attorney to represent me in my case.

This law firm isn't good in my eyes at all. After I plead my case to Charlie Filder, he said he will look into some things to pull up all of the information he needed and he would call me back. I gave him some time since he would have to pull up old information. 2 weeks go by and I call to check up on the status with my case and to my surprise I spoke with a lady who I believe was a paralegal there that said she couldn't find any information in regards to my case.

I was told that I would get a call back within 24-48 hours. I waited 72 hours and still no call back. I called again and found out that my so called attorney Charlie Filder was out on vacation and was expected to return within a week. I understand everyone has their personal lives so I said alright, I will wait until next week.

Next week comes along and goes. Still no attorney to represent me so I just gave up on them because they seem to forget about people who they are supposed to represent. If they do that before things are set, I can only imagine how they would represent me in court.

I would encourage anyone considering this law firm to think twice because I am paying the price for them forgetting that I ever existed to them by not returning calls or anything. Find another attorney.

Apple Law Firm's gun trust product was very easy to access and use. The instructions were complete and easy to follow. I have signed all the documentation and am waiting for the short barrel rifle to come in so I can complete form 4 and send to the ATF. I would recomend this product to anyone.
