She was the sixth lawyer I talked to, however the first I felt sure would look out for me and my child’s best interests and fight hard. She was on my case for a year and I had never met her in person. On the first court date she sent someone in stead of showing up herself. The person she sent had passed the bar 3 days prior (that’s what the told me) and had NO knowledge of my case. The judge would ask questions and she wouldn’t know the answer. It was extremely embarrassing. She was even reprimanded by the judge for giving a false response. I have never been so humiliated. When the final date came Lauren and her paralegal had not filed or completed anything. I had waited a year to be done with everything and they did not treat my case with urgency or respect. I ended up hiring another attorney who handled it in two days, filed everything and finalized it quickly and efficiently. 5k down the drain.
