I am a professional, hard working, educated woman. I sought help from FWLG because the leader purported that domestic violence was one of her driving forces in studying law and defending women. I was nearly killed by my husband on numerous well documented occasions. All FWLG did for me was take my $250 initial consult fee and tell me the power that he continues to have over me......then, they wanted $5000 up front. I feel robbed. Victimization all over again! No thanks! Should have a zero as I walked out of there worse off than when I entered!

The knowledge, guidance, professionalism, and emotional support I have experienced with Anna Durstein and her team at the Florida Women's Law Group has been invaluable, and I can encourage anyone going through the divorce process to meet with the team and feel comfortable that they will have a competent law firm with many resources to back them up in their journey.

Florida Women’s Law Group is an amazing firm that is dedicated to helping women through very difficult situations. They help with much more than the divorce itself. Their clients are empowered by mission and spirit of the firm that Heather Quick embodies. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Heather for years and working with her on cases. I would recommend her to any woman facing divorce.

Heather Quick is an exceptional attorney. I met with her today for the first time as a consult after my divorce a few months ago . All I can say is I wish I had known about her before I signed off on my divorce papers.. I urge any woman looking to expand her knowledge on this whole crazy divorce proceeding world to explore the office of Heather Quick. She’s extremely knowledgeable and will be your pitbull and fight for everything that is justifiably in your favor. Even though I felt my divorce attorney was good , Heather has that certain charismatic charm that can sting like a bee, and float like a butterfly with confidence and a cutting sword ! I couldn’t be more impressed by her knowledge, presence, and willingness to Go up against what many may Be intimidated by. Thank you for your help Heather, you helped calm my concerns .

I should have represented myself and saved $5000.
I'm still angry about the incompetent representation I received from this firm and its been a year since I hired them.
Beyond ridiculous
I reached out to the owner and never received a response.
Do Not hire this firm unless you are involved in an uncontested divorce, but who knows they may screw that up too.
You've been warned
I left one star because I had to, not because they deserve it.
Attorneys can suck all day long and know they will still get paid.
This has got to stop.
They should be paid after they prove they have enough competence to actually do their job.
If that happened, most attorneys would be out of work.
Do your homework because filing motions and representing yourself isn't as hard as they want you to think it is.
I represented myself in court since I had the experience with these women and I won! But this firm couldn't help me in court, go figure.....

I went there years ago for a “what if” consultation. Thanks God, I did not buy their: “your life will be beautiful without your husband” and “ can you imagine just you and your children”. Basically, she was trying to push me to make the decision and pay $xxxx upfront. And for that “consultation” i paid $xxx and the “consultant” happened to be a secretary.

Heather and her entire firm is amazing. I didn’t have a divorce situation, but she listened to our situation and was kind enough to handle it for us. Heather is a no nonsense attorney and gets matters handled fast. Would not hesitate to use her again.

I enjoy the concept behind an all female law firm that caters to women. That's what attracted me but just as quick as I walked in I was even quicker at walking out. My consulatation today was less than 30 minutes. I am not naive so of course I wasn't expecting this process to be "cheap" but as a single mom with no help from my husband the amount quoted to me just doesn't seem attainable at this time. No payment plan option or alternatives were mentioned which probably would've made me feel a little better and hopeful about this process. It just makes me feel discouraged when I thought an all female law firm would be very empowering. The office was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and they were quick to respond to my online inquiry as well. In my opinion if you can afford their fees upfront then they seem perfect.

Update-I am amending my previous review. I received a call from Marci who works with this firm and even though this firm is not an option for me at this time, that call really changed my mindset. She was very concerned and actually took the time out to listen to what I had to say about my experience. I felt like she truly cared and that's the feeling I was looking for when I left their office. This reassured my faith in their strive to help and empower women thru some of their most tumultuous times.

This law firm is set up to prey on women and sell them on "WE Will Fight for YOU!" once you sign on the line, be prepared to have little work done at astronomical prices and to be harassed often for more money. My experience left me in a situation where I had 3 weeks to find a new attorney, with half of the work needing to be done neglected by this firm, and resulted in a poor outcome on my case. A month prior to mediation and trial I was notified that i needed $6000 more on top of the $5000 I had already paid into the firm. I was told I needed to pay that amount that day or sign a consent to withdrawal. I had to ask my mother to pull from her retirement to help and called stating I would have the $6000, this is when they came back and said, actually since trial is close we need $16,000 in your account by Friday ( this was Tuesday) or again, sign consent to withdrawal. I was forced at that point to sign the consent, and be left high and dry 3 weeks before mediation and trial (they were set in the same week). This woman and her firm are scammers charging high prices for doing little to no real work on your case. Because of this woman and her firm I did not achieve much in what should have been an easy open close divorce/custody case. With that said, it is not just about having a poor outcome in my case, its about the fact that my children are now paying for their negligence. I had to hire a new attorney, and will now have to rebuild the case and go through this process all over again. This woman's law firm did not stand up and fight for me and my children, yet they did the opposite by giving my ex all the power. In my opinion the objective of The Quick Law Group is to prey on women leaving abusive situations and steal from them while feeding them lies, and doing nothing substantial on their case. They refuse to listen to client requests, such as requesting medical records that would have won my case. They give poor advice which in turn gives the opposite party the upper-hand. My greatest advice to anyone seeking counsel, DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON OR HER FIRM. My second attorney accomplished more in the two weeks we had to work with than The Quick Law Group accomplished over a 5 month period for a 4th of the price.

the quick law group attorneys and staff are a well informed and caring
law firm. They are unique in representing only women through the
difficult period of separation, divorce, and support.
I would not hesitate to recommend them and encourage anyone to at least
schedule a consultation and find out what options are available.
You can trust them for compassionate, understanding and competent advice

I've worked with The Quick Law Group for over a year and have found them to be extremely professional, ethical, and caring. They stand up for what they believe in, which has apparently caused many people (who are not clients) to leave negative reviews based solely on the fact that they disagree with them on a political issue.

If you are a woman seeking help with any sort of family law issue, I cannot recommend them enough.

This law group misinformed the public with blantent slander about SB668. What was said honestly makes me question whether they have even read the bill. I believe they may of just took the word of the family law section of the FL Bar who only wants litigation to fund their $3 Billion FL divorce industry.

SB668 states there should be a premise for approximately equal time sharing and then gives 20 reasons for a judge to go outside of that. A premise means a starting point and both genders should have an equal starting point upon entering a courtroom.

The best interests of the child is to have their constitutional rights enforced. That means due process and meeting the burden of proof to remove or limit one of their parents from their lives. If a parent is unfit then the burden for proving such is solely upon the accuser. This should not have any skew toward or against any specific situation, most especially not due to the gender of the individual.

I would never refer anyone to your office with such underhanded misrepresentations of the truth.

The Quick Law Group opposes shared parenting. Study after study show that having equal access and time with both parents is the key to a childs development and wellbeing.

that really want to help women. I have and will continue to refer women to Heather's practice.

I am very pleased with my experience with the QLG and their staff. Everyone at this firm is very nice and extremely helpful. From the receptionist to the attorney's, everyone at this firm works hard to get what their client needs. They kept in mind the financial burden and would take actions to minimize expenses. They worked diligently on my case and did research on the information that was coming in from the opposing counsel and were able to catch errors. They provided me guidance on the forms I was required to fill out and kept me informed on everything regarding my case at all times.

Although, with having a young baby, I wasn't able to participate in the classes and happy hours, I think it's great that they offer these to their clients as resources to help them through these difficult times. The staff at the QLG go above and beyond to meet the needs of each one of their cases. I would refer any women going through divorce or custody issues to the QLG.
