I went into the office in January of 2018. I was told that Mrs. Austin was busy and for me to leave my medical papers so that she can go over them. It’s now the middle of May and i still haven’t heard from her and I can’t find her to get my medical papers, xrays, mri disc and personal info. Does anyone know how i can talk to someone over everything?

If you get a lawyer, they really don't want to help you. They are supposed to call you within 2 days and they never do. I have not been helped yet. I'm very disappointed on how they treat poor people. I know they are volunteers but they shouldn't volunteer if they really don't want to help.

I can honestly say that years ago they helped me in a bigggg way. The attorney there was on top of everything. If I emailed her,I received an immediate response. This was dealing with the federal government but the law is the law. She was a god sent advocate till the end. Thank you. I hate that people didn't have the same experience.

It is impossible to get anyone over the phone to talk to you when you call the Dekalb County Legal Aid Society of Georgia it doesn't matter if you call during early morning hours when they first open or late in the afternoon no one answered the phone and if they do answer the it's only because you waited so long for a response

BEWARE!!!!! I was cut off in mid-sentence by a woman over the phone. She was very rude about my inquiries and I felt that I was inconveniencing her. She did not to help me. She instead asked me a series of questions hoping to eliminate me as a prospective client. I felt overlooked and unimportant. Now, I know why my elders say you get what you pay for....
