I lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico from 2010-16.
I was rear-ended and went through three years of symptoms related to a head injury. PTSD, migraines, syncope. All your negative thoughts about attorneys can be discarded at their door. They were ALL totally understanding and straightforward.
My case was a boating accident. Something they had limited experience with. It is very different from an auto accident where the vehicles remain in place and can be examined to determine liability.
They quickly got up to speed and their predictions were as accurate as possible.
Everything was handled in a highly professional manner while maintaining equal ground with me.
No "I am the attorney, and you are not" attitudes.
My case was settled without going to trial. They presented a strong position and let the opposing attorney figure it out for themselves.

As an attorney myself, I'm always skeptical of lawyers who run television commercials. Having spoken with several fellow attorneys who do personal injury work, its often the case that the ones who talk tough on television are the ones who will do whatever it takes to settle...even if it means you receive pennies on the dollar for your losses. Fact is, a lot of TV firms have a business model based on getting people in and out the door as fast as possible. And often its not the attorney you see on tv that handles your case, but some fresh kid straight out of law school.

From the initial "chat" on the website, to the office staff, to the extraordinary gentleman Mr. Fine, this has been a comforting experience! Mr. Fine and firm are respectful, diligent, trustworthy, empathetic, honest and most importantly, welcoming. This firm exhibits a rare gift in follow-through with their clients. They are informative without being judgmental. They have the ability to convey knowledge in an understandable manner without the jargon of their profession. Each person I spoke with was intent to my cause, making me feel very valued.
This is an extra-ordinary group of individuals clearly experienced in their field.

It is never good to have a car accident experience, but when it happened to me I had the good fortune to have met Mr. Fine. At the beginning of my experience it was clear that I would be taken care of completely. My case was very difficult in that I was struck from behind while sitting in my work vehicle at a red light. Workers compensation was involved, the insurance company from the opposing side who wanted to pay nothing, and I was receiving therapy for my arm. Not to mention I was still working too! Talking about stress. But Mr. Fine and his staff stayed in constant contact with me and kept me calm even when I was next to tears. The end result was a victory. I would certainly recommend Mr. Fine and his staff who I feel are very knowledgeable. I appreciate all their efforts from the first day to the last. It was an emotional experience and they were there for me.
