I have used this service twice I didn't win my first case but they did all they could. But my second case they won...well in both situations we didn't go to court but the 2nd one the Landlord had taken my 1500 then asked me to move out in a week. They got right on that. We were able to stay because he didn't want to give the money back. The company is call TH Properties which is owned and operated by Joseph Ben who is a scammer that's still owes me 75.00 to this day and live in a mansion in Alpharetta.

I give it 3 stars only because I received a great friendly service from the actually person working in the building. The lawyer person who was appointed to contact me was the worst from legal aid. She had a very nasty attitude for no reason. She was very rude and almost unprofessional. If I could give the lady who took my info at the legal aid office 5 stars I would. She took the time to hear me out and give me good advice while I was there.

Directions were a bit hazy on the turn into the parking lot, so i had to do a Parking lot tour and cross the street. Parking is extremely limited, but everyone there was kind and didn't shame me when my kid flipped out because we ha to go. They were unable to assist me, and I only spoke to a paralegal.

They hardly ever answer the phone during intake hours. Seems as though they don't care about your need for legal assistance

Omg they were the most helpful people ever! They took me the same day and assigned me an attorney the same day. My daughter school was trying to panel her due to her disabilities. Of course the outcome was victorious and I am thankful for the services rendered on my case!

Do the Gwinnett location ever answer the phone??? Oh yeah they do at 11:06 after they tell you to call between the hrs of 9-11 just to not get through to anybody until around 11! Then they tell you to call back next week Tuesday! Geesh what a HEADACHE

Completely worthless people. They only accept applicants that are below 20k a year and they won't tell you that until you have made an appointment, taken off of work, and also be the first of 3 people that show up in the morning. Don't waste your time.

13 years ago, my husband called them, seeking counsel, never follow through. In the future, when we wanted to use their services for something about our child, they said that I could not be on the case. it was a conflict of interest. even with notarized written permission from my husband saying they could represent me. Also did not get the kindness you would expect from something that is pro bono...

How can they help you if they have a horrible phone system that no one ever pick up the phone line? It's a horrible thing to reach out for help and they're supposed to be a point of contact and no one's there to take your call or they just keep ignoring the phone lines. Very sad!!!

horrible, horrible experiences, the place has really gone down hill over the years, at first they were very very helpful professional & understanding, but NOT anymore, let me tell you ... i went in once & sat there for ages waiting to be helped while the receptionist chewed her gum & twirled her hair only to get her wig caught in her head phones. all i asked & needed to do was make some copies which i had previously spoken to my lawyer & had permission, but she had to go & double check as that was not there usual policy & just kept me hanging forever when i just didnt have the time & time was of the essence to me at the moment.
- Then today I wait all day for a call back & finally speak with a lawyer ( who barely speaks english ) and i can not hardly understand at all & she is so rude & condescending, she rattles off a whole list of things so fast i can not understand, then ask me then what do i need ... and so i then begin to proceed to explain to her & before i can get half a sentence out, she cuts me off & starts ratting off a whole bunch of other rubbish that has nothing to do with anything in my case & i ask her, now wait a minute u just asked me a question, you cut me off, least let me answer & explain.
Then she asks me, what do you do for a living ???
I continue to tell her, and she asks me again & says that she needs it for these forms, i'm like i just told you & i repeated it again real slow ...
- then she says to me, theres no need to repeat it like that to me twice ....
( i'm just like lady, you just asked me twice, she's like no i didnt )
- i'm like you did so, would you do that & lie in front of the judge as well ?
She says ... what kind of form do you need help with ???
I'm like I can bring it in & show you, we can sit down & work on it ...
thats what me & my previous lawyer there used to do, its alot easier.
She says ... Can't you fax it, I'm like, No ... it's far 2 many pages, its like a lil' booklet, Its a lot of Pages & I have no easy accessibility to one,
but i can bring it in & show you ...
And then shes like no no no, thats not how we so it here anymore & now looking at your income, you make to much money for our services ...
i'm like look, how is that, i have already talked to & given all my information to 3 other people & went through this whole screening process before i could even get a chance to speak to you & now your telling me something completely different ??? - YES PEOPLE, AND THERE IS MORE BUT TO SUM IT ALL UP & LIKE EVERYONE ELSE IS SAYING HERE, JUST COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL, COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL !!!

It takes a little persistence and make sure you have everything in order. They are professionals. The staff is working with what they have. Get up, visit the office, if it's worth fighting for, be persistent. Visit again, don't give up.

I guess I had to give it one star because is the lowest. POOR, UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE. Called for information so many times, and each time was a waste of my time. I can only imagine if someone gets represented by one of these clowns, they'll sure end upnin a hole. Don't waste your time.

Terrible, terrible they want you to call by 9:25 but the line is always busy (for hours). I wouldn't even give them 1 star

I called the office to get an appointment at 9am and was to call back at 9:20am because they just arrive and don't answer the phone. Call back several time and constantly received a busy signal. Final got through at 1:45pm and was to call back in the morning at 9:15am, i got cut off and the reception called me back insulted me and slam the phone down. Is this the way people are to be treated when they are genuinely trying to get some legal assistance?
