HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! BEWARE!!
Let me start off by saying the law office of Judith Delus will put on a good show until you pay that 2500 retainer fee and then it’s all down hill after that.
The entire staff is unorganized and clueless. I hired the law firm to handle a case for me, tenant/ landlord issue and in less than a month they were calling and emailing me trying to bully and harass me into replenishing my retainer. Ms Montgomery never showed up to court after making us believe she would as soon as her previous case that morning was done. She almost cost our case to be dismissed because of HER OFFICES ERROR. She never informed me of time sensitive information that the judge wrote in an order, and had I not called the court to figure it out myself then the case would have been dismissed. I tried multiple times getting in contact with her staff and or herself regarding this matter, finally after 9 days I demanded to speak with her. Now keep in mind I was calling to discuss my concerns and wanted to be reassured that something like this would never happen again, and shockingly enough she had the worst attitude with me and made excuses for her entire staff and herself. She acted as if she was annoyed that I was calling her out on her mistake and was completely unapologetic. And on top of that the next day I received a bill for the freaking phone call, the same phone call that I made just to have peace of mind and allow her to assure me everything was going to be handled.
I also received an email the following day demanding that I replenish my retainer, and if it was not done immediately then they would not work on my case.
I called and ask to speak about exactly what the original retainer was spent on and the statement I received was ridiculous. All of the charges were phone calls and emails that were made from myself or to me from their office. I called back and asked them to make this right because I was being taken advantage of when they never did anything for me and they wanted more money, the office lady assured me that she would talk directly with Mrs. Montgomery and get back with me. That was weeks ago and I have still not received any contact from their office.
I have since sent them a letter asking them for a full refund and to inform them that I no longer want their services. no one from the law office of Judith Delus have been in contact with me regarding this matter either.
So if you need an attorney please look anywhere else unless you want to be constantly drained dry!

In my opinion they are not good people they only care about the money.
Hiring the law office of Judith Delus was the absolute worst decision I’ve ever made!
I will attach a screen shot of the email demanding I add more money and also an example of how MY retainer and hard earned money was used by this firm. Because I’m sure they will try and respond stating I’m lying or I never was a client of theirs, as they have to all the other negative reviews from past clients.

Afterwards, she connected me with the Client Relations Specialist, Rhonda who explained next steps to take in order to release my current attorney and how to go about scheduling a consultation. The level of service I received was stellar and I will most certainly refer all of my friends and family to this office for their Immigration, Tentant/Landlord, and Family Law matters.

I purposefully tried to wait to complete my review until the settlement phase because myself, my former roommate and my mother all had a feeling that some shenanigans were going to occur and thus they did. For a journey that started in August, it was September 21 before anything was set for us to get any kind of money. I (as the only one actually communicating with the office) was told around october 9th that the settlement minus lawyer fees had allegedly been addressed to them, and that I had to wait additional time for it to clear them - then for them to cut a new check. It was another two weeks (with near-daily contact on my part) before the check apparently cleared and I was able to get one (11/1). Despite the fact that the firm was paid separately by both complainants, they saw fit to pay us with one check that bore both names. Given the original situation forced us both to find alternate housing, we are currently at a loss as to why they would do such a thing. They were not paid that way. One of us doesn’t even live in the state anymore, but they found it sensible to write a check to two unrelated people as opposed to choosing on or the other. Here we are, another two weeks later with a “settlement” we can do nothing with and is apparently out of their control to fix. Waiting for our return, stuck without housing again due to our funds being tied up with this incessant situation.

Staff was nice and all, with two being extra. Nothing against that. But an unfortunate end to what started seemingly well. My recommendation? If more than one person is involved, don’t even tell them. It’ll save you headache and excessive loss in the long run.

This law office is a HUGE SCAM!!!! I went seeking help on a landlord/tenant case. During the consultation I learned more about the secretary’s dilemma of being hospitalized for dehydration than they learned about my case. I paid the $2500 retainer fee and was overcharged $154.50. It took weeks to receive a credit back and multiple calls asking for a refund for being overcharged. Everything I was told was going to happen never happened and when I questioned certain things I never got a straight answer or was told I’d be called back and never received calls back.

The assistant attorney Juliet Idemudia is absolutely CLUELESS and no help at all. I was charged $522.50 for a 1.9 hour phone call that NEVER happened. I spoke with her for a meaningless 38 minutes. I expressed this concern to multiple people in the office and they claimed to get back with me but that never happened. I also complained about the phone call and was told by Shenica (same secretary with the dehydration issues) and was told I would not be charged for that conversation. Again ANOTHER LIE!!!

Another trumped up charge came from Idemudia in the amount of $715 claiming that she started on my demand letter despite the fact that she did not have adequate information to do so. I was told to submit a timeline before a demand letter could even begin to be drafted yet. Before I even got the chance to submit the timeline she started drafting this fake letter.

All of this occurred within 1 week of hiring this firm. They are extremely disorganized and fees you lies to get you to pay the non refundable retainer fee without so much as working on your case. There were no suggestions given and advised me and my 10 year old son to continue to live in a mold infested apartment which was proven by the mold inspection I got myself. The attorney Judith Delus makes excuses for her incompetent staff.

I urge anyone seeking services similar to mine to go elsewhere. I am a single mom who was completely taken advantage of and was robbed of $2500.

Lastly my charges (including the false ones) totaled up to $1748 from 6/26 - 7/2. I was told no credit was due to me and was given no explanation to the remaining $752 from the $2500 total that I paid. The false charges equaled $1237.50. I don’t know how anyone could steal from a client they are suppose to help.

They deserve 0 stars and should be shut down indefinitely.

TODAY I just concluded a dui matter that has been going on since November 2017. From my initial consultation with Attorney Montgomery and her office, they provided A+ service. I was facing a difficult case and Attorney Montgomery maneuvered through the case effortlessly. The first step was saving my driver's license. We filled the paperwork with DDS and I recieved notice that the DDS would not pursue the suspension of my license. That was huge because this allowed me to keep driving throughout this entire ordeal. The next step was her office staying in constant communication regarding court dates and anything needed. After months, we decide to push the case to a jury trial. This is where Attorney Montgomery and her staff's preparation was unmatched. Throughout the entire trial which lasted over 7 hours, she never wavered and her closing arguments were something of genius. The jury deliberated for less than 30 mins and came back with a unanimous verdict of not guilty! I appreciate all of the hard work and efforts of the staff! If you want an office to support you and fight for you, Attorney Montgomery's office is a no brainer!

I am a single mother that does not get child support. My baby's father petitioned for sole custody in GA. I wanted to retain this lawyfirm. I told them my situation and they agreed on a payment plan. I give them a thousand up front. They give me this whole spill on helping me and taking care of me to the end. I had 30 days to rebuttal. Which they also knew. I call them back and ask if they did the rebuttal. They in turn tell me you need to pay the full retainer which was going to take me to June to pay. Which they also knew. They said they would do the papers and I would have to file. With what money do I have to do that. I call again and ask for my money back. Then they call and say they are doing the papers and they will send it that after noon. Still no papers. They also say that the 1000 dollars I gave is that thousand dollars to write the paper. They knew I needed representation now and they knew that I needed help now. They preyed on the fact that I love my child and that I was desperate for help. Do not use this law firm. They are shady.

I seen this woman in action about a year or two ago. She's very knowledgeable, professional but a bulldog in the courtroom. I watched her first hand take down a large company who were slumlording this young lady with a huge rat infestation stemming from inadequate repairs that could have been resolved. At the end, she WON the young lady case.

Ms. Delus is a compassionate, well-spoken attorney.
