This firm wasn't even the attorney representing me, but courteous and professional manner I was treated made definitely want to use them. if I ever needed representation. The
general questions I had were answered with pleasure and even came early to open the office.

I could never recommend this firm to anyone else. I hired them to do a simple task. Not only did they not complete the task they did not follow up with me or send me a copy of the correspondence sent to the other party as other firms are known to do. Ms. Dumas was very unprofessional, when I asked about the correspondence. When I reached out to Ms. Parker she did not care about my case although she signed a contract agreeing to represent me.

This lawyer and office is very professional and courteous but not great. She worked for the IRS in the past and it is very apparent that she has.In our case, all she did is repeat pub numbers, document names, titles, and appeals and the words"hard deadlines". When someone comes to an attorney it is normally because they are at their wits end and are in need of an advocate who will fight FOR them. After dealing with Ms Parker, I felt like I was dealing with an extension of the IRS. She showed no real advocacy for me, compassion for my plight, or passion for the work she has chosen to do for HLP.

After explaining how badly we had been treated and mishandled by the IRS, Ms Parker showed no empathy for this when dealing with the IRS from that standpoint. She took what they said as gospel, chastised me for "missing deadlines", told me I wasn't eligible for an OIC and then sent me to look up the Form to submit for a payment plan. Something I found out later that HLP pays her to do on my behalf. I don't know if this is not worth it to her in pay but helping us sure was. I found another lawyer to help us and had I not, we could have had real trouble dealing with them trying to establish a payment plan

I am so disappointed in my experience with Ms Parker and recommend you NOT use her unless you have met all Hard Deadlines and Followed All appeals and submitted all paperwork as well as know all IRS form numbers and IRS actions. Then, just maybe then, you will receive the services you deserve.

Mrs. Parker is excellent

This firm is definitely money hungry. They can careless about your case. It's all about a dollar. I paid 200.00 for a lousy 24 minute consultation and she wouldn't even assist me on filing my answer. I just wanted guidance on how to do it and she couldn't even do that. 200.00!!! for some info I could've just found online. A coworker referred me to this place and I was told there were no ridiculous fees upfront and Ms. Parker helped win her case. I know another girl who had a consulation with Ms. Parker and paid nothing. So I was robbed and that money could've gone to someone that could've actually help me. My childs father is abusive and is seeking custody of my daughter out of spite and I'm a hard working single mother doing everything in my power to protect my baby girl. They knew I was in a bad situation and desperate and I was taken advantage of. I was already hurting due to my circumstances but this just made it worse.
