It seems like she has to many cases to focus on your case. When I call I get the same response for over a year now, they are short on staff. Definitely did not look out for my best interest.

Maxine has been very helpful with me since I’ve hired her. Taylor and Cassie that work for her are very polite and professional. Maxine and I went to Court and I was granted spousal support which was needed! She’s very knowledgeable, patient, understanding and sensitive to your situation.

I will give another review when my divorce is final. Still need another Court date. Also, want to make sure all paperwork is finalized and submitted properly. So wait for my final review.

At first I did not believe the previous reports and I heard through the Military legal office that this attorney was a safe bet and wouldn’t rip you off... 4 years later I am in debt and I can honestly say that I have made zero progress. I was promised and fed the typical tap dance in order to receive my retainer. I can tell something is not right because I have worked with 8 different paralegals or what I thought were paralegals and had to re-explain my situation multiple times. I would strongly urge to not higher and also will be trying to work with the military legal officer to get this service banned for Military.

I was recommended her by my mom who had to go through a divorce. She is amazing and was attentive to my situation. I went through a divorce last year and she helped me out. I’m going through a custody modification process now and she was able to refer me to another good lawyer in the current county I’m filing in.

Do not ever hire her . She is not honest person. When she told you she filed your case in court, you better go to clerk office on 2nd floor of court house and check it . She will tell you :" I am talking to opposite attorney and will are working on the best solution for you ".... Hahaha , opposite attorney is looking for the best solution for you !! Do you believe ?? Of course not . First of all she is not talking to nobody about your case. Check of 2.000 $ she received from me and after 7 month of doing nothing and never returned my call m she gave me change of 200$ . She charged me 1600 for a few email , but told me email is free. She never even read my email . Be very careful with that " dama" , Wright down for yourself , what she said and make her to sign below her words , or just better do not hire her. Such kind of attorney is sooo popular and in Columbus, and people just so upset or busy with their legal issue , trying to find a good help, that " abused " by attorney clients have no wish or time to file complains about them . Surprised to read these negative reviews. I used Maxine in 2016 and received timely and professional service. I was in need of some information concerning my case 3 years later. Called and got voice mail. I left a brief message and got a call back from Taylor with information in less than ten minutes. I would not hesitate to use them again!

This lady messed up my divorce papers and I cannot get a license in the new state I live in until she fixes it! I have called her multiple times and have emailed her and still haven’t heard anything back from her!!!!! You are messing up someone’s life right now because you are too lazy to fix a mistake that you made!!!

If I could, I would give her office and services more Unfortunately I had to come and see Maxine but she assured me that she had me covered. She will give it to you straight and doesnt flinch in the court. She is a bit pricey BUT I know I have a team to works fast and thorough.

I recently had a consult with Ms. Wallace and she was beyond great. She was patient, went well over 1.5 hours, never rushed me and really seemed to care what I was saying. She herself has been thru a divorce and really gets what its like to be a middle aged mom in such a mess. Terrible communication. Told me my papers would be ready in two weeks. Never heard from her. So I waited 3 weeks and called. Every time I called I got the same answer which was" I'll tell her to call you" she never called me back. Ever! After about 2 months of waiting for her to call me back I finally wrote a letter telling her I found someone else and asked for my money back and said if she didn't give me my money back I was gonna report her to the bars association. I got my money back after that.

Worst lawyer ever!!!!! We went into North Carolina and put case in the North Carolina courts... we got it done in one year it took her...3 yrs... to draw up the paperwork.... do not use her at all

Quit on my case at the very last moment. Exhausted the retainer AND raised the price halfway through. Absolutely awful communication! Then on top of everything, refused to release my case papers so I could hire a different attorney without first signing a contract prohibiting me from filing a complaint to the lawyer association. WORST LAWYER

Horrible attorney! She exhausted my mother's retainer with very little to show for it. The communication was awful; she gave excuse after excuse. I am not one to write comments on the internet, because I believe in grace, however, this is the truth and I do not want anyone else to be suckered into her poor business practices. As another reviewer mentioned, she should be disbarred!
