Mark jones dealt with two cases for me. One for myself, and one for my fiancé. It was a vehicular accident case that involved the both of us.

He is more than helpful.
Great attitude, very sweet every time.
He is very responsive and prompt on his cellphone/direct line. The office staff is prompt on giving him messages and him returning communication.
He’s very thorough with explaining all the legal terms and attorney talk that the average joe would not understand!
He had great rates.

I would definitely use him again if I ever needed another attorney(but let’s hope I don’t lol).

Worse attorney i have ever seen just a flat out joke.... I mean first off my fiance never got any call back from you or your office untill recenty after she has recieved a certified letter from you already saying you were not going to represent her just really bad business second off you sent her to some bogus doctor from florida which never answered her calls and that she couldnt ever even get ahold of but we tried calling you back as well and guess what folks mark jones who mark jones couldnt answer the phone so dont waste your time people a real joker is what i think

If I could leave a review with 0 Stars I would but unfortunately I can't. Do not waste your time or energy with mr. Jones or his firm. I don't know much about accidents but my situation seemed pretty much as an open-and-shut case. After pulling out of my driveway I was T-boned by a driver that totaled out the truck I was driving by running a stop sign at a significantly higher speed then posted in my neighborhood which is as well as school zone. After calling the police I was not given a citation I was in fact not even asked for a statement. The officer informed me by looking at the scene the evidence clearly explained what happened. I was late for work so I turned down treatment by the end of the day I was at the ER. I followed up a 2nd time due to pain in my neck back and chest due to my seatbelt. At that time I decided to hire a lawyer. I did not want to get stuck with medical bills. After meeting with mr. Jones The One and Only Time I did he informed me we had a good case. The vehicle was not mine so he did inform the owner he could do as he pleased w/ the insurance company but advised me not to speak w/ the insurance company. The at-fault driver was in a company truck which I was advised not to speak w/the company as well. I was contacted but denied speaking to them. Mr. Jones did give me a doctor which he advised I follow up w/ to ensure nothing major could result from the accident. After several attempts to get in touch w/ the doctor and numerous messages left I never received so much as one call back from the doctor nor mr. Jones. Since I know nothing about accidents I assumed I must not have a case and I would be stuck w/ the medical bills. A few months later I received a certified letter from mr. Jones. Informing me he no longer would be representing me. This review is due to his paralegal calling me not knowing anything about me or my case and when i inform her about the letter she was extremely rude wouldnt answer a single question even about the letter saying quote i know what u want me to say and cut me off w/i have a call ok bye. How unprofessional is this law firm! I should have never called them and you shouldn't either. In response to the owner my name is C Killingsworth and i gots no time for ya. Crazy head. Didnt you graduate with a law degree. Very Unprofessional. It was your paralegal that called me maybe your staff needs more training or at least should look into the case before making pointless calls either way im not a crazy head i just told the facts. If u would like to have a respectful conversation and speak like the educated lawyer i assumed u were id be glad to give you a call.

My fiance was in a car accident 6 months ago, since then all that has happened is she went to their doctor recieved treatment and then after that NOTHING. For 6 months he did absolutely nothing. She was passed around to 3 of his associates only to have nothing done. If you aren't going to either do everything he wants you to do or what he thinks is best or stand to make 30 to 40 thousand off the settlement, he isnt going to do anything for you. It took them three hours today alone to get her a copy of her file, all the file contained was 3 duplicated papers and her medical records from one doctor. If you want to waste your time and be super stressed about what ever issue that you have then this is your guy. Also, most of his staff are rude as can be. Dont expect a warm welcome or any thing to get a accomplished.

This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had!!! Worst attorney. Do not go here. He does not listen and does not care. He takes your money. He didnt even put in to represent me after I gave him $5000 up front, didn't show up for court. I ended up getting another attorney for the case. He STILL has not produced an invoice or refund which I've been asking for. I've had no choice but to report him to the bar. Beware of this fraud and I will be alerting any of those in need of legal services NOT to go here

It's been almost two years (starting MAR2017) since my child custody case has not been solved by Mark Jones. As the previous reviews from customers from Google reviews stated, not only Mr. Jones has put my case off on other lawyers that previous had resigned from his firm. I've been calling him since he had sent a letter on a motion to withdraw from my case. I do not understand why he would send such a letter since I have been calling the current lawyer (Mr. Joshua) on the status of my case, in which I had to find out from the receptionist that he had resigned along with the previous lawyer he assigned me to.

Every time I call to get feedback on why the letter was even sent to me in the first place, his receptionist always keep tell me that "he's in courts all day," and he will get back to me yet I haven't received a return phone call and/or e-mail since I received the letter (NOV2018). I've been calling ever since.

I was trying to work something out with Mr. Jones after he sent me the first letter by responding back to the letter (via telephone call like the letter stated) yet no response from him so I will have to take this issue to the next step and report my issue.

I didn't imagine how my case would be such a prolonged process. This has taken a toll on my daughter and me.

I've been with this guy for three going on for years and he barely did any work on my case for custody he kept on switching me off with lawyer to lawyer attorney to attorney paralegal to a paralegal his lack of caring and compassion was very striking to me. if you go on his Facebook you can see that he clearly values his interracial relationship and his State farm victory over everything else. I know it may seem like I'm coming off as bitter but just to give you a little example of the lack of skills he does have as a public servant I called three weeks ago asked to be in communication with someone and my phone call was never returned after they told me my call would be returned that day. I I emailed two separate times two separate days no response after that. I called again to speak with somebody and they said I'll get in contact with somebody and as you guessed it no return my phone call. then as I come in there today to try to hope that he can probably convince me to stay working with him he stays on the phone for over an hour for a scheduled meeting that I had with him that I made last week what kind of public servant is that? when I notified him of his lack of skills he made up and number out of you nowhere by stating that I've done 10000 to 15000 worth of work on your case and goodbye? this is the lawyer that loves to have rappers and rap music in this video this is the guy you want defending you he's shown his worth plenty of times please if I can you not give a star I would love to. I I highly expect Mark Jones or his office to erase this rating or review but you guys who do see it this on it and if anybody has any questions about it you see my name you can hit me on Facebook and I have no problem filling you in on all the details of what he does as a attorney please choose someone who is worth your time.

I am so nervous as to if i made the right decision having this Law firm handle my case i hired them on back in June and have not received not one phone call or email with any updates or anything, I have called numerous times left messages and my contact info and have been told over and over that someone will contact me n never does so 6 months later its still the same, i wanted to give a young lawyer the benefit of the doubt in my area but now im unsure if i made the right decision, my credit is being affected due to this i dont know if i should start to pay or what i called to ask and of course someone stated they would call back this is beginning to get very frustrating and i am a very patient person that knows cases cant be handled over night but sheesh i just want to know whats going on with the case!!!

Mark Jones hits you with the good ole bait and switch! He talks a good game like he’s going to go hard for his clients but that’s just to lure you in! After he tells you that you have a strong likelihood of winning your case he has you pay all your money up front, then the next time you hear from him he’s trying to bait you into making a plea deal! He purposely acts incompetent, doesn’t do his job and sabotages his clients case after they pay him upfront so you get so frustrated and want to find a new lawyer! He’s very inexperienced and doesn’t know protocol! He’s a Narcissists and doesn’t care about his clients! I regret even going into his office! His behavior, his appearance, his mental stability all points to one thing! Intervention is apparent and needed!

I really Don't know how you guys gave Mark Jones five stars .I am really disappointed with this law firm. I paid the whole amount that was due up front and that was the worst decision I could've ever made . My case was passed around serval times because of lawyers quitting and paralegals getting fired. So this left my case hanging for two whole Years, My wife and I did most of the foot work. I tried to contact him on numerous occasions but he was either always busy or in court , so I was told , and on top of it all he ask for more money and did not complete my case. Mark is a liar and a damn crook. He is unprofessional, incompetent and unethical. To his employee's if you're still working for him please leave , because you do not want your name affiliated with this lawyer, and for the one's who got out of the sunken place stay woke. Please seek another lawyer or law firm if you want help. What can I say about Mark Smith and his staff?? An awesome lawyer as his staff especially, The paralegal Rebecca who is worder full and patient with me. At first I found a lawyer and while driving to meet with him, a person from the lawfirm told me basically they could not assist us because the family member involved wold not be present and he called me back and said it would be a hard case, etc. In between these calls, I contacted Mark Smith's office and they were willing to meet with me 30 minutes before 5pm. My husband used Mark Jones over a child custody case.Bottom line-Mark has alot of issues with himself and his staff NOT communicating with each other nor my husband.After1 year of fighting for custody,the case was closed with out his knowing and my husband emailed Mark numerous times along with Marks paralegal.Mark Jones is NOT a good law firm to use....

Greatest attorney in Columbus, Ga! I was never involved in any kind of trouble with the law and he took care of everything. They tried to charge me with a felony and Mr. Jones got it reduced to basically nothing. He was very patient with me and stayed in contact with me threw the whole thing. I had a case of simple divorce, which was handled entirely by paralegals. I cannot say anything about the actual lawyer, just his staff.
Well, paralegals tossed my case between each other, gave me wrong information, forgot crucial information, forgot to send parts of paperwork packet to the other party, lied to me, often did not respond to calls, emails, and even stood me up - I came to the scheduled meeting once just to kiss the closed office door (and without even apologies later). Eventually I got my things signed and in order, but they put me through quite a nerve trip. At times I wasn't sure if I am a client who paid money, or just some beggar? Absolutely horrible. I am not a service freak, I am usually very calm and forgiving, but these people need to learn some very basic service skills.

What can I say about Mark Jones but excellent, him and his staff took the time to get to know my case by actually sitting down and doing an extensive answer and question packet so that his office could understand the ins and out of my current situation.
