I recently hired Mr. Ramey to handle a family law matter. I feel confident with giving him a 5 star rating. He is extremely knowledgeable in family law. He is also extremely easy to work with. He makes himself readily available for questions with out charging you some outrageous fee for a simple email or phone call. I'm very happy with his work and he made the process very easy. I would hire him in heart beat again for future legal matters and highly recommend him. He does great work!

I received 2yrs ago that my husband hired a lawyer for uncontested divorce in which means I waived all my rights in this 13yrs relationship. Well that was farthest from the truth because my signature from his lawyer paperwork was forged. I would NEVER give up my rights to fair division of properties. This attorney worked hard to get my ex to see things my way. He her attorney but I have to give him a shot out. He helped me out. Now I have a new family and his loser client still gets nothing but crumbs. Those kids ee have will be grown soon and I will see them then. This giy made sure she got nothing more than what she was getting which is really nothing compared to what I really make..lol. This guy disliked her so much he saw my invome and still led her to settle without a dome more. She thought she had a settlement to get old attorney fees. So I contacted many lawyers. And he was the only one who gave me advice over the phone. I have decided to hire him. And the comments about him being unprofessional are just ridiculous. He will email or call you back and so far has been a man of his word. He is even working around having a court date literally a week after he takes the case. If you want a lawyer who will communicate and actually call/email you back choose Mr. Ramey. He will talk to you on a personal level and cares. Look no further if you need a divorce attorney, he has your back.

Good Lawyer family matters to him

I found Mr. Ramey after contacting several other lawyers with no success. I retained Mr. Ramey because I had a good feeling about him within the first minute of speaking with him. He handled my case in a friendly and efficient manner and at a very reasonable price. Mr. Ramey was available whenever I had to contact him or he would quickly return my call. Mr. Ramey did a great job and I would recommend him to anyone who is in need of a family attorney!

In my opininion and based on my experience after hiring this attorney. He could be a good choice for a simple paper filing divorce that requires little to no effort nor commitment/preparation on the attorney’s part.

He seems like a very intelligent individual that could be an excellent attorney if he showed more commitment and confidence in the courtroom.

I decided to go with him as he was willing to accept a $1,500 retainer and a payment plan thereafter for 3 months for a total of $3,000 for a flat rate contract. However, he withdrew from my case when he possibly realized my case was more complex and complicated than what he could possibly handle.

My impression is that he believed my case would settle at mediation. As the case didn’t settle, he wanted to charge me an additional $1,000 so that he supposedly could prepare for trial.

I referred him to the flat rate contract and he simply didn’t show any further interest from that point forward.

Every time I attempted have a discussion with him he would ask to be fired. He would not explain legal concepts and points of views.

I started loosing faith on him as I witness his demeanor in the courtroom and in front of the opposing attorney. It seemed to me that he was scared or just intimidated by the other attorney and wouldn’t stand his ground and claim a position of leverage as I was the plaintiff. I felt as if I was the defendant in the courtroom.

My case was filed almost a year ago and come to find out now after talking to other attorneys that there were many things he failed to advise me on and or do, like requesting a discovery for evidence and some other legal procedures that I didn’t even know.

The button line is that he decided to quit on his own. Nevertheless, we both think we just couldn’t work well together, no hard feelings.

I can appreciate a good honest lawyer. I have dealt with my current lawyer for 15 years, which is a lot of times time consuming. Mr. Ramey gave me sound advice that would save me time and money. Thanks Brian Ramey.
