I have to say that I’m disappointed with this office. The way that I understand it, unless you can get the ticket deferred to probation yourself, they can’t either. The communication is horrible at best, as I didn’t hear from them until it was the “final” attempt to which I was going out of town. Essentially had I not fought the ticket, i would have had to pay $212. Now I’m out $330 and still ended with the conviction and lack of communication. There would be a slightly better review, If they would have been honest up front about their ability or the fact that they didn’t think they could actually get the speeding ticket deferred. Overall... seemed like quite the waste of time and money.

I have been utilizing the services of this traffic law firm for more than one decade. The office locations tend to be really convenient to get to. The office staff and law secretaries seem very competent and informative. I would use this place of business again.

First I want to tell anyone that has never used a ticket lawyer, know that you can go onto the city's website and ask for deferred adjudication and pay without using a ticket lawyer. You will not get an offer of a reduced rate, but after you pay the attorney fee, even with a reduction it is not much different. Also, in the past when using a ticket lawyer you never had to go to court unless you didn't want to accept the offer and wanted to go to trial, that is no longer true in Fort Worth. You will have to go to court and when I went, this firm had at least 60-80 clients that had the same court day and time as me, so plan on being there for awhile! I was referred to them by another defense attorney I know, and decided to use an attorney because this was a school zone ticket and to buy myself a little time to pay the fine. When I went to court the first time I never spoke to anyone, they just came out with my offer from the prosecution, which was a reduced fine, but it would go on my record. I declined because obviously I did not want a ticket on my record, so I was told we could go to trial, this is after all what they are supposed to help you with. I tried explaining the situation and the girl told me they could gather evidence to fight it at trial, assuming the officer even shows up. So, a few months later a trial day comes. I get to court at 8:30, and there are several people and attorneys there talking to each other. During that time our attorney, who had maybe 7 clients, did not talk to us at all to discuss our cases. He was outside taking to other non-clients. Around and hour and a half later the judge walks in saying trial would be starting in 10 minutes, and she needed to know who was going to trial. She asked all of the attorneys what they had been doing for the past 1.5 hrs, and they had plenty of time to have been talking to clients. So my attorney begins to scramble. He runs all of us into the hallway. He tells us that he has not reviewed any of our cases and the offer we had before was most likely what we would get again today. Then he breaks us up individually and begins talking to us. I tried to explain my situation, and why I was hoping to not have this go onto my record. I expected to pay some fine, but didn't want a ticket on my record and was hoping they could defend this for me, this is why I was at trial! I was told we were in a hurry and didn't have a lot of time for "ums" and he needed to know now if I wanted to take the offer, which was $263 and a ticket on my record. He then ran back into the courtroom to see which officers had actually showed up. Of course mine did! He told me he was here ready to testify and told me that most likely we wouldn't even get to trial that day because there were people ahead of me. I had already taken 2 days off of work at this point and could not miss another day, so I had to settle and honestly was given no time to consider my options. I never did work with Justin Holt, there was another attorney there both days. The entire process was rushed and I didn't have any time to discuss what I wanted. There was zero fight defend me to get me a better deal, zero preparation or knowledge of my case. After we were done, then he sat down to make sure I understood everything about payment. I could have gotten this deal all on my own without a lawyer, plus I paid their $50 fee. So with a ticket lawyer, I walked out with a $263 fine and a ticket on my record. Their involvement in my case was useless.

I recently had to enlist the services of an attorney for a class C misdemeanor citation. My wife did some research and I walked into their office in Arlington, Texas. I was pleasantly greeted as I walked into the office by 2 ladies. I explained the circumstances regarding the citation I was issued. They were very patient as I tried to share all the details. They quoted me a price of $45 to handle the citation with the court.

I paid the $45 in cash and waited for a call from the attorneys office. I was contacted by one of the support staff approximately 1 month later and actually spoke directly with the attorney Justin Holt. After Justin asked me several questions, he felt reasonably sure he could get the citation dismissed. I did appear at the Arlington Municipal Court approximately a month later and conferred with Justin Holt at that time.

I received a welcome call the next day from the support staff. They advised me that Justin was able to get the citation dismissed by the court.

The full cost was $45.
