We hired Mike Dennis with bridges law firm for a change in custody case in Feb 2017. The case was sensitive to timing because we needed to get our children in school before the 2017-2018 school year. He was to serve the other party asap. He didn't even file the paperwork until weeks later. He then took 2 months to serve the other party which then took 30 days to get a response. He was not easy to communicate with at all. His secretary was blamed for the delay. The day we finally had a conference call setup with the judge to schedule a hearing TWO WEEKS before school starts he sent me an email and quit. He refunded me the money he had not spent but I still had to come up with another $600 to add to those funds to get another attorney. He will not communicate with you. He will quit in the middle of your case regardless of the importance. His excuse was he didn't think he could win and finish the case in the time frame I needed. When I hired him I told him the importance of getting this complete by July. He said that won't be a problem yet he played with my money and time and didn't do a thing to justify the money he did not give back. Don't use this man he will screw you over!! Also, he quit before he filed a motion to withdraw with the Judge so now my new attorney is having to substitute him until the paperwork is complete. DO NOT HIRE MICHAEL DENNIS. If you want a good attorney hire anyone but him!
