Bret Schmidt is got to be the one of the best and most ethical defense attorneys I’ve ever met. He has represented two family members and one friend of mine. My husband and I turned to Bret when his probation was almost over, but the amount of Community Service he had was ridiculous for anyone who has to work a normal 8-5. Bret worked with us, it was cost effective, and he had my husband take care of everything he needed to. We were able to get the Community Service hours waived and expunged of all charges. Well worth it and i wish we didn't wait 9 years to do this! Probably could have cut down probation if we'd have gone this route sooner. Thanks for being an amazing and caring attorney!

Waste of time and money. He’ll just take your money and say he’s working. He won’t answer your questions, text nor calls. Did I mention his erratic behavior?!. You’re basically on his time. And he Has a federal open case.like why does he still have a license if he’s a criminal as well? We got a 40 year pled. 40 YEARSSSSSS.

Great Attorney!
I had been sentenced to 10 years of probation and had served 9 of them with no violations. After trying NUMEROUS times for over 2 years to talk with my probation officers and the judge over my case about an early release, I was fed up. The City of Dallas judicial system is so slow and of course, they really don't care about you if you're not a trouble maker so they would rather keep you on probation and milk more money out of you...Bret filed a motion and I was released from probation within 2 months of hiring him. I stood in front of the judge for about 2 minutes and it was all over. Bret did a great job of handling my early release request... I only wish I would have hired him to be my attorney in my original hearing 10 years ago, might not have had to deal with any of this. Thanks again Bret

For 3 years I was on the run from probation on a violation. I was always worried and looking behind my shoulders in fear that 'today would be that day'. I already had an attorney that I hired who said they could lift my warrant and get me back on track without having to turn myself in and well two weeks later after the initial payment of $1,500 he said he couldnt do it and that the only way to resolve my situation was to turn myself in.
