DA Putman and investigator Benson have given me hope that my and my children’s (ages 8 & 11) voices will be heard and justice can and may still be served. Our repeated cries for help were not ignored and SO FAR this has verified to our family that these indeed are individuals of integrity who desire to uphold the law and protect ALL citizens of Smith county. From my babies and I....Thank you DA Putman and investigator Benson!!!

When Jacob Putman was assistant DA he released a career criminal Dabrett Black, after he assaulted a police officer, with no bond. This was Black's 3rd violent felony offence. The first 2 he was convicted for. After his release, Putman was pleading down the felony charge when Black killed DPS Trooper Damon Allen. A decorated hero working for us. Trooper Allen leaves behind a wife and 3 kids. Smith County, how can you feel protected with this man as your gate keeper to the jail?

Dirty...dirty...dirty!
Some employees in this office are liars, they convict innocent people and waste TAX dollars to cover up the corruption.
Disgraceful and those of you who are corrupt need to go to prison.
