My case was very difficult, but Mr. Swaim was able to fix it with successful results. He is very honest, nice, and professional. He will let you know up front if your case is "fixable" or not. His staff is very nice too. They kept us up to date with everything on a regular basis. He answered our questions either via phone calls or E mails. Erica Gomez, our paralegal, was always prompt in keeping us updated on everything we needed to turn in and answering our questions. We would highly recommend him.

My most rewarding immigration experience with Tidwell, Swaim & Associates. I am still pinching myself because I still cannot believe that I am now a US Citizen. My Naturalization Oath Ceremony was on February 19, 2020. This is how it all began. I will tell you about my journey to Naturalization with Tidwell, Swaim & Associates, so you know why I must write this review.

May 13, 2019 - I consulted with Tidwell, Swaim & Associates about my eligibility to apply for US citizenship and other immigration issues affecting me. - Tidwell, Swaim & Associates informed me that I was eligible to apply
June 20, 2019 - Application submitted to USCIS for processing
June 24, 2019 - Received USCIS application acknowledgement letter
June 29, 2019 - Biometrics appointment scheduled
July 17, 2019 - Attended biometrics appointment
December 27, 2019 - Interview was scheduled
February 4, 2020 - Attended my interview
February 5, 2020 - Application approved for naturalization
February 5, 2020 - Naturalization oath Ceremony scheduled
February 19, 2020 - Attended Oath Ceremony and received Naturalization Certificate

Tidwell Swaim himself is very knowledgeable and straightforward but his paralegal messed up my parents case. He never showed any concerns and still charged the full fee. Not worth it unless your case is tricky.

Mean and arrogant. He almost made me lose my immigration status. The USCIS rejected the application he filed and instead moving forward quickly, he made a trip for long time. Also, his paralegal lost some of my documentation. When I made a complaint, this son of a b... threatened me with sue me if I publish this. I talked to the org where I learn about this guy and told me he also wanted to sue them when they did not want to invite him anymore.

His office is very cheap and poor .
I am a Attorney at law in other county and his foreign colleague and paid $80 just for consultant fee, but he didn't check and review my documents, certificate and etc.
He asked only a few questions and told me you are good for EB 5 Visa , if you have $500.000 or $1.000.000 !!?
I told him please read my info and situation of my job and documents, he told me no need!!

I was a client of Mr. Swam a few years ago. I have to say he's very competent and fair.
The international student counselor totally screwed up and I ended up not getting my practical training before graduation. One law firm told me that I was in a bad situation and that I needed to spare no expenses so I wouldn't be deported. My colleague referred me to a fancy law firm located along LBJ. A pretty blonde young lawyer was assigned to my case. She couldn't get her fact straight and kept messing up. I ended up paying the $5000 retainer fee without having any progress at all for weeks.
I ended up seeing his ad on a newspaper. When I met him, he told me what needed to be done and what my chances were as a matter of fact. No scare tactics and the fee was reasonable. My application was sent in right before 911 happened and the application process was halted after 911 for a long time. Throughout the process, the firm was always friendly and professional. They always kept me informed. Mr. Swaim did what he said he would do. He and his firm always treated me with respect. I'm now a US citizen thanks to him. I highly recommend Mr. David Swaim and his firm.
