I wish you could give negative stars because he deserves no stars. Robert Luttrell is the worst lawyer in the history of lawyers. He will straight up lie to you to get you to accept a plea, he will not do anything for you and I do mean nothing accept for take your money for doing absolutely nothing. He is good buddies and in kohouts with Johnson county to force you to take the worst possible deal because you don't have any more money to feed him for doing nothing. There are people in Johnson county that had way worse crimes and got probation, he will not even return a phone call he just stole our money and now my life is ruined as I doubt I will live long enough to ever see my husband again, because he lied to us and will never ever return a phone call. Run from this man he will ruin your life too! He knows nothing about law and will just tell you what he thinks yo want to hear to force you to take a plea. He is a dishonest, evil, vile man.

I found him to be genuinely concerned and extremely knowledgeable as well as helpful.

This law office takes your money, then does nothing for your case. After 7 months of no work in my behalf, no returned calls or emails, I fired Luttrell & hired a new lawyer who ordered a polygraph and had my case heard and resolved in 2 weeks! Also got me an immediate hearing with state AG office who put me in a program that paid 100% of all of my medical bills! Do not trust Luttrell to work in your behalf.

Won't go into to many details, but I absolutely love having Robert in my corner when it comes to going to court. 100% had my child's interest at heart and not what would make the adults in the case happy. I would and I do recommend him to anyone in Johnson County or Tarrant County.

Well due to this lawyer I will be attending the funeral of a dear friend that did not deserve to die. She killed herself due to this attorney destroying her life by his poor representation. This man is not an honest attorney. All he wants is to be paid and will tell you whatever he thinks you want to hear. Now she leaves behind a daughter who already had her father die, and leaves behind a husband who cant even go to her funeral. This is all because this man did not do his job.

This attorney is an absolute joke, the only thing he will do for you is take your money. He is in with the district attorneys office and will use scare tactics and your lack of money to hire another attorney into forcing you to take an insane plea deal, when every one else in the world accused of the same crime get probation you have to take more time than a murderer. Because of him and his absolute lack of representation and being in the District attorney, and because we believed his lies about parole, I lost my husband, my home, my car and everything that mattered to me. I even called him to tell him that they had entered my husbands sentence wrong and he did nothing, My life is in ruins because of this man and by what he said my husband should have already been paroled but has not been , he is just in prison 500 miles away, where they go on lockdown every time someone farts, I never see my hiband or even get to talk on the phone to him. My life is ruined thanks to Robert Luttrell.

I hired Luttrell after a referral from a family friend. I read reviews and the positive ones are accurate. Robert has just really started on a journey to help me after I had a squirrelly attorney. After that experience I was truly scared to ever hire another attorney, but Robert worked FOR ME. He’s so reasonable, straight forward, but most of all HELPFUL to truly defend/represent your wants. I have a few more court hearings to get custody situated on paper, but I have NO DOUBTS. Robert will not only get results, but results Im looking for! Robert is not money hungry he is about JUSTICE and doing what needs to truly be done for his clients!

Robert skillfully guided my kids and I through a complex and messy custody battle after which I was happily surprised when I was granted primary custody of my two children given that custody most commonly is granted to the mother. He did nothing and I do mean nothing, and we paid him a ton of money. He was in with the district attorney and would not even try to do anything for us. We were railroaded and now our lives are in shambles because of our poor choice of attorney and the excessive over sentencing we got.Do not trust this man, he will do nothing for you and he is so far in with Johnson county it is not even funny.

Horrible attorney

Best there is in town! I am a woman, he has never treated me unkindly or unfairly. He has always been completely 100 percent professional at all times. I will not use another Law Office in Town. Mr. Luttrell has and will continue to be my Attorney when needed. He is upfront, direct and does not play games. He gets the job done. I have never seen Mr. Luttrell act in an unfair, or unprofressional manner towards a woman, or any other person for that matter.

He is amazing guy to have on your side. I have used him for 4 straight years on my custody battle. The paralegal Robyn has been extremely helpful and does her job to the fullest. Robert did the job he said he was going to do and that he did. If you need a bulldog of an attorney and straight to point he would be the person to hire.

I have been working with Robert over child custody/child support case. I wish it was as easy as that. It turned into a trial and is still going on. Robert was upfront about everything I needed to expect during the trial. He told me all my options and was very aggressive while representing me. His employees are just as helpful. I would hire him again if needed.

Robert is an exemplary attorney who not only has represented me multiple times with a very complicated family law case , he has also represented several of my friends on my recommendation with complete success and satisfaction. Ok to start let me make this clear, this is not my real name. This is not due to me being scared of robert. Its becuase there is more interactions I will have in the Johnson county courts and dont need anymore tempering with my sitiation. I am not going to provide any details either becuase of the obvious. I will say to anyone you can take whati say serious or simply not believe me, thats your choice. To robert you know who you really are and Im not going to bother to attempt to convence you with endless arguements so you can try to discredit and apear better. After all you are an attorney and get paid to argue and Its obvious from reading other reviews you put on your "A" game on to defend your self which is 100 times more effort you put towards any client whos outcome greatly impact the lives of families and children. I am not only talking about bad people being charged with a crime; but people who just want to be apart of thier childrens lives. Actually, I wonder how much time you take from your day reading. responding and pulling case info to respond to these reviews; that you could be using to help your clients and the time they have paid for. To the readers, to be honest robert will do the minimums and go with the flow of the other attorneys, DA, and Judge. I dont believe he is out to screw anyone per se but he is lazy and just wants to make money like alot of other people. Does this make him a bad person? ......Continued due to response. Mr.Luttrell does not know who I am but sure does want to call someone out publicly. He spent more time on this response then he spends on his clients in the courtroom. Not sure who you are speaking of Mr. Luttrell but my husband was convicted in 2009 of a DWI and we didn't even meet you until 2014. You seem to be speaking of a sex offender which that's a BIG difference from a DWI. Johnson county is notorious on their MTR's and that's the only thing you have been paid to help with which you did absolutely NOTHING! You didn't speak to our new attorney but nice try. Jury trial was not an option and never discussed the short amount of time you represented my husband. You continue to try to bash back at people that leave reviews like your an angel that was asked to perform a miracle on every case. I didn't call you out I actually held back on a lot of things I should of said about you. You are an attorney with a law firm that people leave reviews about how they were treated and I am only leaving my fair and honest review of you and your office. I am a law abiding citizen I am not a criminal I can vote and have served on a jury myself recently. Max sentence on a sex offender YES or whatever your talking about but you should think twice before you accuse me of being a lowlife that has no respect for law abiding citizens like myself that serve on a jury. We own a home in Johnson county and have lived here all our lives and that's where the DWI was commited. I do believe that more could have been done because it obviously was and the MTR was dismissed. The deal you told us the DA was offering you stated was the only option. After us begging and pleading you went and made "an attempt" to drop the punishment down to a SCRAM instead of 180 days ISF. My husband is STILL on the scram almost 2 years later due to no time frame being placed on the agreement. He has had absolutely NO problems with the SCRAM other than the cost of it and the fact that for the past 2 years he hasn't been able to even swim with our kids. I know people like jurors, judges, DA's office Etc. read these reviews and so it would be that you need to paint a perfect picture of yourself which I respect that. So I only ask that you respect the people on here reviewing your services so that others can make an informed decision to hire you or not. No you didn't force my husband to accept the deal but you failed to mention he would be on the monitor for years and years. Being on an ankle monitor and still being able to provide for his family or go to ISF. That was the only options we were given when in fact he didn't break any law to provoke the MTR. You have never done anything to do with a bond for us and he was released from jail that day not having a bond and the MTR being dropped and probation reinstated with new conditions that you didn't bother to explain. Don't go talking to other people's attorneys and jump the gun when you have no idea who I am, until now. I thought you stated you didn't threaten clients yet you find it's okay to be happy to tell everyone on this forum what someone was convicted of but that's obviously slandering someone else's name that has nothing to do with us. Now get the facts together, does it really matter who I am to you? This is the 100% truth and I have never seen a business person so worried about a review that you constantly attack everyone that leaves one. Do you think that's good for future clients? Why be so worried and insecure that you feel you have to go back and forth with the reviewers. Your the type of person/attorney that I question how you could ever sleep at night. Everyone is questioning the scram and why a time frame wasn't placed in the admendment, even the scram employees, our current attorney and probation officers. It's because of you sir, you knew that important detail was left out and in the long run the DA is satisfied and ready for another round of golf.

I hired Robert Luttrell to represent my husband in a criminal case. I know Johnson county very well and I am using a name him and his office will not recognize due to the repercussions that may take place in retaliation of my review. Do not hire him unless you just like to throw money away. He will find out what the DA is offering and will do everything he can to convince his client to accept the offer immediately. If his client is currently incarcerated he will use this to benefit the DA. When someone who is a father, husband, hard worker, etc. is in jail due to making a mistake of being honest and truthful to a Johnson county employee, they will sign and accept almost anything in order to be released and go home to his family. DO NOT DO IT. What other attorneys can do for $1500.00 less, Luttrell doesn't even try to accomplish. Cases that can easily be dismissed are not due to the deals that he makes with the DA. In return people sign papers and accept offers in fear of Luttrell's threats and the DA's repercussions. Not only did I pay a couple thousand to him he also convinced my husband it was best to accept an offer that has now caused extreme amounts of additional money (over $8000.00) to be paid and due to that and never receiving any copies of paperwork that was signed in court we have now had to hire a different attorney to try to fix what Luttrell screwed up. Don't even attempt to go to his office for a copy of that paperwork his office staff will come up with any and every excuse she can in order to not produce the requested paperwork. Do yourself and your family a favor and find a different attorney! Attorneys outside of Johnson county are hesitant to take on a JC case due to not being part of the "DA buddy system" but there are attorneys who will and there are some JC attorneys that will actually FIGHT for their clients. Do your research!

Hired Robert Luttrell to defend my wife in a case. When we hired him, he acted as if he believed her and was going to work for her but he did NOTHING in 7 months. Did not return phone calls or emails. Did NOT keep client informed and did NOTHING for her case, but rather, seemed as if he was working with the DA against her! We fired him, hired new attorney and her case was thrown out within a month of hiring new attorney who did as we had been asking the entire time, and got the DA to have a polygraph examination performed where it is found that my wife was telling the truth! Robert Luttrell & his assistant yelled at her and called her a liar in her last conversation with his office before we fired him! He is unprofessional & we highly question his ethics!
