I was referred to this office by another out of Albuquerque, I should have called around myself. I think I could have done much better.
1. I now know what an ATLAS # is, as I had to figure that out, lawyer never informed me nor called me back after I left messages for her.
2. I was never told I was a risk or whatever I was considered, so the state is doing auto deductions from my pay after I was told and given instructions for the Clearing House there in the state. Never informed by my lawyer again.
3. I still can’t pay the support I owe to support my daughter (which I don’t have a problem doing), because my SSN was either, not correct from the county or simply never submitted.
4. I believe a call back from the attorney I used through this firm could have assisted by simply returning my call.

I personally wouldn’t recommend this firm, but that’s my experience with them. I would hope that someone else would have a better one.

Our paralegal, Kimberly Steed, was equally amazing and was very responsive, even when under tremendous pressure. The office manager, Carolyn Keech, was very professional and worked hard to be as flexible as possible regarding the financial side of it all. Bill Bishop is a true expert in complex pre-marital agreements, understands the law and the case law as it relates to them. He pointed out several aspects that are important to include in a pre-nuptial agreement, including assets covered by ERISA law (retirement assets), and all the forms that should be signed within a day or so of your marriage to protect both parties' assets (signing just the prenuptial before your wedding day is not the end of it, if you really want to protect yourself) . He knows all the angles and I highly recommend him and his fees were reasonable. PS Don't wait until 2 weeks before your marriage to start this process !

Heather Stewart has been our attorney in a custody case that has now been ongoing for over 15 months now. My husband and I live just outside of Nashville TN and have been together since my husbands biological son was 11 months old and his daughter was 3. When my husband and ex-wife separated she moved the children to the West Coast. One of the things that made me fall in love with my husband was how much he loves his children and how involved he is in their lives even though they live on the other side of the country. We have the children a total of 13 weeks a year and we have never celebrated a holiday without them. The children are now 13 and 16 and in April of 2017 we found out that our daughter had been out of school since December. When my husband who has joint education decision tried to discuss with his ex, it resulted in her filing a restraining order and court papers to take away parenting time and joint education and medical decision making. We knew then that we had to fight for custody. We interviewed a total of 13 attorneys and sent an email to Mr Bishops office on a Sunday explaining our case and the fact that we needed representation that would truly care and fight for our family. We received a return email that Sunday afternoon from Mr Bishop stating that his firm would talk to us and see if they could help us. We spoke the next day and we knew that they were the right firm for our family! They never promised that they could win, they never promised it would be easy or even a possibility of winning but they did promise they would fight for our family as if it were their own. And believe me they have. In order to prep for our court date I spent 3 weeks in AZ and was at their office almost daily. I came to realize that this office is a family by choice that truly cares about their clients and each other. They are welcomed me as family and truly cared about our case. The judge should give a decision in our case sometime in the next week or 2 and I have to say that I know that no matter what that verdict is that Heather and everyone at Bishop Law did absolutely EVERYTHING THEY COULD to fight for our family!
