Bruce was absolutely amazing and aggressive with my case from start to trial. He and his entire staff treated my case as if I was family and gave me the results I was seeking. Thank you so much.

Very thankful to find Mr. Brown had a really bad experience with another firm and Mr. Brown helped all the way in an efficient, honest manner. Highly recommended.

Bruce and his team were very knowledgeable and responsive to all my questions and concerns. They were a beacon of hope in a time I felt lost and unsure of what the future held for me and my kids. Bruce is a real professional and made all the legal matters a walk in the park for me. I recommend Bruce and his team without reservation. I’m very grateful I had them on my side.

I've known Bruce for many many years and when you get involved in a family law situation, believe me you want a lawyer who doesn't just know the law, you want a lawyer who knows the ropes. Good, practical and honest advice with the special kind of savvy only a lawyer with Bruce's experience can offer.

I have known Bruce since 2005 as opposing counsel, boss, my attorney, and as a friend. As opposing counsel he was reasonable and ethical. Working with him every day I saw his dedication and skill. I thought that I was a great courtroom attorney until I saw him in the courtroom ten years ago. I then knew that I had room to grow. As my attorney, he went to trial in my legal decision making and parenting time matter and achieved exactly what I wanted to achieve. That rarely happens in Family Court, but Bruce did it.

Hard to fit this into a limited space, but here goes. For this story to make sense, it helps to know I was 19 when I had a one night stand with a 35 year old (then married woman). I found out I had a daughter with that same woman when the state came to my work for child support in 2012, the child was 5 at the time and we had never met. In December of 2012, I was ordered to pay $583 per month in support in addition to nearly $19,000 in arrears (state able to retro payments for 36 months), and the mother retained full custody and legal decision making. Parenting time was not even addressed, so Mother would choose if and when I could see the child (IV-D matter is a completely separate entity I would come to learn). Fast forward to December of 2015....I am still attempting to establish custody, but have managed to get my daughter enrolled in the school in my area, and have her from Wednesday morning before school until Saturday evening. By this time my wife has been accepted to medical school and we are relocating to Tucson, and the mother has no intentions of letting me see my daughter because of this. The final straw was having to leave my daughters Christmas presents on the doorstep because the mother was continuing to abuse her custody power. Commence the attorney search... After using many "free one hour consultations", it was clear my case was much too complex to get any meaningful advice in this amount of time. My uncle happens to be retired from the U.S. Attorney Generals office, and Bruce Browns name came up, but he required a $100 fee for his first consultation. It wasn't until an accident lawyer a family member used recommended Bruce, that I knew I had to give this man a call. It is now January 2016, and I have not seen my daughter for 4+ weeks (still paying support though). I scheduled a face to face with Bruce sometime in January, and it was immediately clear he was different. He spent the first 30 minutes simply getting to know me, my family situation, and what exactly I would like to accomplish. He then took time to explain how the (lengthy) process will work, checked the Judge and commissioner on file to get insight, as well as answered my numerous questions. One thing that really stuck with me was when he said "many of these family cases get to me on a personal level, and at times, I feel like I care more about what happens to the kid(s) than the parents do". He also acknowledged there is no fame or glory in family law, and it is obvious he does this because it is his passion. Due to my graduate program and medical school, our financial situation was very limited. Bruce and his team would constantly have contact with me via email and phone, and allowed me to do much of the behind the scenes work (printing documents, filing with courts, etc.) to limit costs. When our trial was finally set for September of 2016, I actually had funds remaining in my trust from my initial retainer! Bruce also has a wonderful way of thinking. Our whole case was void of personal attacks or what he/she does or does not do for the child. We simply presented the facts (43 exhibits!) and had the mindset of this is the life we can give the child. He also knew exactly what she would say in court, and was prepared at every turn to refute her claims. The judge took her ruling "under advisement" and made a decision within 48 hours of our trial.....

I won full custody of my daughter and she lives with me in Tucson (mother has every other weekend), birth certificate and last name were updated to reflect my last name, and numerous little "wins" that were laid out in the court order. We just recently went to IV-D court in October for child support on this case, and not only was my child support terminated as of 9-30-2016, but the mother was ordered to pay me effective 10-1-2016....

If you asked me 1 year ago if this is where I would be, I would have thought you were crazy. Be patient, be persistent, and hire Bruce D. Brown.

Bruce has been my attorney for several years and will continue to be. I have always found Bruce to be not only supportive and understanding, but fair. He was always made me feel like I was valued not just as a client, but as a person.

I had been with my husband for over 25 years, and when I was served with divorce papers, I was at a loss of what to do. I interviewed several lawyers, but didn't feel that they were in it for me and my children. My co-worker recommended Bruce Brown, and from the moment I met him, I knew he had our best interest at heart. My divorce was extremely complicated as my ex lived in another state and he was wanting to make this as difficult as he could. Bruce's knowledge of the laws, sincere compassion, and fighting spirit made sure that my daughters and I were awarded, which was more than I thought I would even receive. I owe Bruce and his staff so much more than I could ever repay him.

This review is from an insider. I disclose that I am Attorney Brown’s paralegal. When I started working with Attorney Brown, I came with 22 years experience and thought I was good at my job. It amazes me how much I have learned in the past 3 years. With that said, I would like to share some insights. He is my favorite which is no secret if you have talked with me about him (and not because I am currently working for him). He amazes me professionally for many reasons. He is dedicated to his clients and his no non-sense approach saves client’s attorney fees. He has been able to pull off miracles in some cases due to his edge of having 31 years experience. There have been cases where I did not think we would be able to get a ruling in the client’s favor and Attorney Brown properly prepares for Court and the miracle occurs. Does this happen every time? No, but enough that I am proud to work with him. His approach is straight-forward and I cannot emphasize enough how much this saves in attorney fees. I will end this review with saying Attorney Brown is an exceptional attorney and I am blessed to be part of his team.

Attorney Brown has excelled in his performance over the past 13 months of my divoorce. His 30-plus years of experience and his positive attitude helped me to weather the long legal process caused by our court system being backed up. He help me to keep on track and focused on what was best for me and my children, while not falling for the game playing and dirty tricks that others want to do. No divorces are easy or painless, but Mr. Brown and his exceptional staff help you to get through it all with your sanity and hopefully, your dignity intact.
