Joseph Kirshy sucks. He’s brand new out of a law school that is no longer accredited. He doesn’t know what he’s doing.

Alexus Mamood is a terrible lawyer who can't even be bothered to proofread the paperwork before she mails it out. My divorce papers had so many errors that I finally gave up on them being correct. And whenever I asked questions, I was given misinformation.

A match made in heaven...an incompetent lawyer for my incompetent ex-husband.

Cordell and Cordell overbilled and underperformed. They failed to present a cogent argument, failed to properly question witnesses, and failed to properly prepare for the case. What they DIDN'T fail to do was charge me for documents that were not even necessary.
The last straw was being charged over $300 to review a basic 5 line document. That's right - 5 measly lines. When I tried to lodge a complaint, I was at first ignored, then told they had done nothing wrong.
Find another attorney, these guys don't care.

1 STAR IS TOO MUCH. After telling us they would litigate with my sons unreasonable ex over a small tweak to the visitation they charged incredible fees and passed us off to a team of paralegals while the attorney of record Joseph Kirshy was on maternity leave. No one told us this was happening. Charged $9200 from September to December 2018 then dropped the case 3 weeks before trial because there was a payment expected on February 10 but an arrangement made with their accounting office to pay on the 20th. They dropped the ball numerous times and missed deadlines. They were not familiar with the case enough to put an accurate settlement proposal on paper. They continue to bill us for work they did on withdrawing from the case. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SHARKS THEY ONLY HAVE THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR AND NOT YOUR BEST INTERESTS IN MIND

Tali Collins stepped in as my lawyer from Kristina, for my divorce.

Some situations were rough at times but Tali always encouraged me to relax and let herself and the Cordell and Cordell professionals to do the hard work. Tali was prepared to fight for everything I was entitled to.

In the end of the divorce settlement, I was pleased that Tali and I were prepared for any type of argument my ex-wife and her attorney may have presented.

I enjoyed working with Tali, Kristina and the entire staff.

Thank You,

Doug Owens
