I was convicted of a class 4 (AGG DUI) and sentenced to the presumptive term of 10 years under category 3. When I was returned to court after a successful PCR petition, the sentence was vacated and I was able to start all over again. I went lawyer shopping and after seeing about 5, I met Lawrence. Amazing experience! I have a lot to say here... If you are charged with a Misdemeanor in Phoenix Municipal Court by the Phoenix city prosecutors office it is quite possible you committed no crime at all.. Phoenix City Prosecutors Office can charge a crime and sign the charge without reviewing the evidence at all, in fact they can go all the way to trial, show up to trial and still never read a page.. They could behave like it’s some kind of game.. yes they can bluff, they can continue on and try to Ruin someone’s life even though they may know they have no evidence of a crime... The Phoenix City Prosecutors Office could behave like criminals.. The Phoenix Police Department and some of their detectives may intentionally lie in reports, sometimes it’s possible they could just makeup a narrative of their own could provide false cause to file a case.. Detectives may proceeded to file false reports on Misdermeanor cases because they don’t count on someone like me challenging them and they belive no one will prove they lied.. That is because it will be next to impossible to find a criminal defense attorney who is willing to do the work it takes to take on a lying detective and a Procicutors office that forgot that there are laws in this country and state to protect the wrongfully charged and intentional prosecutorial crimes like the ones in my case.. I am here to tell you that this stuff happens and how lucky I am to have found Lawrence, he forced the City Prosecutor to dismiss the case because they were afraid and they knew it was all garbage.. They waited until we were there for full trial all witnesses were there and State had 6 months to prepair but they were not ready to lose which they knew they would (thanks to Lawrence).. They dismissed the charges rather than lose.. but before that they begged us to take a deversion plea., I imagine they actually get some of their victims to take a plea last minute like this.. It’s so wrong because if they know there is no case and they knew I am Innocent they should not beg me to plead guilty.. A felony DUI almost ruined my life. I was charged with Aggravated DUI. It was really high (over .180). It looked really bad. I knew I was going to prison. Thought I would never see my kid again.

It’s so hard to find who is the best lawyer to defend you when arrested for DUI. Arizona has such tough laws and there are so many lawyers who are “self proclaimed” DUI experts.
