I can’t thank this group of people enough. They helped me negotiate a settlement in a very contentious custody dispute. One of the best family lawyers in Arizona

I came to the Gillespie, Shields law firm after doing an in-depth search on the Martindale law directory. I looked for a firm that had five star ratings in client reviews and peer-reviews, and this firm had both. I had already spent thousands of dollars on two prior attorneys who were referrals, and unable to effectively assist in our family law post-decree matter.

When I contacted the Gillespie law firm, I was immediately assisted by Michelle, their coordinator and direct to Dee An Gillespie. In the initial meeting, she outlined a purposeful and direct strategy to navigate through the case. She understands game plan, strategy and end results. She has a sharp paralegal Stacy Hayes who was an immeasurable help throughout the process. Their fees are extremely reasonable also, far less than I expected.

I also had the opportunity to speak with the trust department of the law firm regarding structuring a trust. I had the same impression — extremely competent and fairly priced. I’d say that if you need an attorney this firm would be a good choice for peace of mind and an excellent result. 5 stars for client and peer reviews. They certainly live up to their reputation.

There are considerably better lawyers for a better price. Ones that won't pick on you or bully you. When you are scared and clueless going into a divorce you should be put at ease and be better educated. Not more scared and more clueless than before, then to be bullied for being clueless? Rediculous. Then my lawyer got bored with the case....on top of that I paid one final payment of 25$ and asked the billing department to make sure my card was not charged recurringly. Needless to say they didn't listen and have been pulling money from my card, which I just now caught. They have taken an additional 50$ even though the account is paid in full. Hope they allow me to edit this post to say they refunded me!!!!!

Edit: the billing department was very helpful and quickly refunded the money pulled. I added two stars for the service I received on this matter, I left one star off for the treatment I received from the attorney I utilized. I cannot speak for the other attorneys.

don't use them, gave my son a criminal lawyer NOT a divorce. Did not introduce evidence my son collected. Fumbled around in court and constantly lost his place while questioning his former spouse. He was not prepared! They cost him shared custody, now he only gets to see his children EVERY OTHER WEEKEND and he was a stay at home father until she got herself a married lover!
Used the "abuse" line to get her husband ejected from their home and had her lover in bed with her that night. You think a Divorce Lawyer could work with these facts and so many more., like Not having time to feed the children breakfast because she was running late, forget to give them their lunches for school.
Then to eat up a $2500 retainer and charge another two thousand right after the judge says the wife has to pay up to the amount she has spent on her lawyer to her spouse! He was supposed to be notified when the retainer was used up, not two grand later! He raised and took awesome care of his children.
Now they'll be subjected to her cold shoulder and condescending attitude 26 days of every month.

I had a very difficult child custody case to say the least, in which I went through three lawyers, before finally choosing G.S&D.
