For the past few years, I had been pleading with my very elderly parents to make sure that all of their documents were "in order." Even though they assured me they were "working on them," I knew they had not yet completed the task. When I recently arrived in Tucson from my home in another state, I examined their legal documents and found that many were still unsigned. I thus took it upon myself to call Mr. Bartlett's office as I knew at this point in my parent's lives, they were not going to be able to follow through on their own. After receiving permission from my parents to speak to me, Paul patiently reviewed important information with me on the phone. Further, he grasped the exigency of meeting with the three of us the very next day (before I left town) to make sure each and every document was understood, appropriately revised and signed. I cannot even begin to express how relieved I was that this process was finally completed, and that my parents' wishes would be carried out.
