So if your lawyer is good, you can actually keep some or all of the cost of your medical expenses. But if you go with a chiropractor or physical therapist... That your lawyer wants to send you to... They will end up taking the full cost of that medical expense. I know doctors and lawyers probably like to give each other business.. and in some cases (like if you dont have insurance) it can be helpful... but I was happy I found a lawyer who asked us more questions and seemed to have our best interest in mind.
