It will be two years since my initial review of our experience with the Law Office of Amanda Taylor (not sure why Google is saying 1 year-maybe it’ll change when it hits 2). It brings me great pleasure to write this follow up review, as Amanda’s office has not seized to keep in touch with our family throughout this entire time. We live out of state and Amanda has been helping us despite the difference in time and distance. When we call her office, we are greeted as old friends rather than nuisance past clients. Amanda has even taken the time to guide our family via phone conferences when we’ve met with our present lawyer in order to keep us up to par in both states. She has also helped us take care of annual reports with the Az court and even expedited services for us. What could have become a messy, tedious process as we deal with two jurisdictions, has instead gone smoothly thanks to Amanda and her hard working staff. Although our battle continues elsewhere, it brings my family peace of mind in knowing that we have trustworthy and loyal representation in our state of origin thanks to Amanda. Our family couldn’t be in better hands.

I'm writing this review because I want our community to be aware of how blessed we are to have the services and expertise of an attorney like Amanda Taylor available to us. Our case was a difficult and unique one because we live out of state and the well being of little children was at risk. I had consultations with a few lawyers prior to speaking with Ms. Taylor and they were all very pessimistic and hesitant to even attempt our case. They also went straight to quoting us their prices and never showed any sense of concern for the children for whom we were fighting. Right when I was about to throw in the towel, I came across Ms. Taylor's law office and she became instantly concerned and intrigued by the challenge that our situation presented. Her assistants immediately started up the paperwork to begin the guardianship case and they worked tirelessly to get information to and from the two states. They were very easy to get ahold of and it soon began to feel like we were working toward a common goal and that her and the staff were professionally and emotionally invested in helping us win. While in court, Amanda was collected, knowledgeable, tenacious and in sync with my intentions. She was bold when needed and was quick to catch inconsistencies as well as in quoting statutes. In the end, the Law Office of Amanda Taylor got us guardianship of our three little nieces despite the odds being stacked against us. I will be forever grateful to those women for working so hard to get my nieces into a safe place. You can't go wrong with Amanda and her staff- they are hard working, sharp, ambitious and have a genuine passion for what they do.

She told me she was going todo a lot for me. When we went to court. She didn’t really fight for me at all. Waste of money.

I hired Amanda for an ongoing custody case and she has been amazing. She is really passionate and actually cares about her clients. She knows how important this is to me and she has really gone above and beyond. She has worked nights and weekends on my case. I am so happy that Amanda took over my case.

FAMILY LAW: Hands down best attorney in Yuma. I contacted a few law firms and I felt they just went in for the kill, asked about payment and money up front. First impression with Amanda and her staff was how they greeted me and made me feel like a very important client and took consideration for any conditions I had at the time. It was a very difficult case but she handled it so perfect and we were granted full Decision making! I can honestly say that Amanda isn't just a lawyer but a great friend.

Amanda and her staff were incredible! Her/their knowledge, persistency and attentiveness went above and beyond. Not to mention the ease of communication when needed. They were able to provide an unwavering confidence and comfort during a very difficult time.

In my professional opinion, the individual who wrote that Amanda offered to do work for free must be mistaken as no lawyer volunteers to work for free unless its a pro bono case. It would not be pro bono unless there would be extenuating circumstances that could not be discussed. Thus, the rest of what this person wrote, in other words, her other comments, must be invalid also. I have found Amanda highly professional, brilliant, and a humanitarian, as she truly cares about her clients.

Unless you have money to throw away, DO NOT hire Amanda as your attorney. The case was settled through mediation, never even went to court. For the little bit Amanda did and the little time spent on this particular case, $5,000 didn’t suffice, according to her (she actually wants more money from us). This is the third time we feel we’ve been mislead by Amanda. Seek your legal matters elsewhere - there are a lot of selfless attorneys in Yuma who will help you without draining your bank account. FYI... Janet Metcalf was kind enough to refund half my money when a similar incident occurred between my ex-husband and me, and she actually put a lot of time and work into our case. Michael Smith is an AMAZING lawyer! Sonja Ramirez does wonderful work... and the list goes on.

Amanda and her staff are amazing, they have gone above and beyond on my child custody case. They have been consistently prepared each time we go to court. Amanda has represented me for over 5 years now and it was the best decision I made.

Amanda helped me with one case concerning my son and did a FANTASTIC job, however after that her and her assistants dropped the ball. I was not satisfied with the outcome and she offered to do things she never kept her word on. I thought I would give her another chance simply because she had known my case before and who I was dealing with. She charged me 900.00 for an office visit in which our actual conversation was only 20 minutes the rest of the time she spent playing with her fish, texting , on the phone , and asking questions that had nothing to do with my case . She allowed me to be slandered over and over and although I had all the evidence she was very ill prepared for my case. She offered to do work for free then "withdrew" her offer. She will never get a referral from me as she does not carry trough with her word and charges for things she says she won't. She asked me to email her then charged me 60.00 per email. She is a common criminal taking advantage of people who desperately need her help. She ought to be ashamed.

Amanda and her staff have went above and beyond the call of a lawyer's office. She showed respect to us and our cases. After countless consults with other lawyers, I wouldn't recommend anyone else but Amanda Taylor. We have been blessed to have such a caring and trustworthy Lawyer. If you want a straight up and honest person on your case, she's it! 10 stars!!!

Back in February of 2014. My supposed to be ex- husband paid her to have our marriage annulled. Only to find out today that we are stilled married!!!! Smh

Wow, wish I had read this before hiring her. Almost the same situation as the other post. She was not prepared for trial, appeared late by almost an hour and also irritated the Judge. She withdrew as council prior to my 30 days to appeal. In addition I appeared by phone (telephonically) and unable to converse with her during each trial date and never had much phone time with her to discuss issues. I would run, her poodles are more important and I've filed a complaint with the Arizona Bar Association.

Excellent attorney who actually cares about who and what she advocates for. You get more than what you pay for and is by far the best attorney in the area. Her staff is also hard working and easy to communicate with. I would strongly recommend her to anyone who wants the job done right!
