I had an issue with a property I was buying. The seller was at odds with the occupants and it involved a messy title issue, long story. I contacted Mr Marshall before I purchased the property to see what my options were. He took the time to investigate the matter and paperwork that had previously been submitted. Even though there were some mistakes he noted they shouldn't be an issue if we had to go to court and advised to proceed with existing documents since almost 30 of the 60 days had already passed. By advising this route it meant I would not add a month to the eviction process and I wouldn't need to spend a dime. However it also meant his office would not prepare any paperwork or charge a fee, he was leaving money on the table by putting my interest first.
Once I closed on the property I reached out to him again to make sure the change of ownership wouldn't affect anything and verify everything was still good to go. I offered to pay a retainer and he let me know there was no need until the 60 days had passed, as nothing would be required to be done until then. I am happy to report that the 60 days did pass and though the occupants needed a few more days to get everything out the issue was handled with out needing any legal intervention! And as of yesterday I have possession of the house. Even though Mr. Marshall didn't handle any of the paperwork and didn't have anything to do with the occupants leaving, he had everything to do with giving me the peace of mind to buy the property and take on the risk of a trial knowing he was in my corner. I very much appreciate his help and though I hope I never need his services in the future I can assure you he's the first person I hire if I do.
P.S. Mr. Marshall was also very responsive to emails or calls and would occasionally check in with me to see how everything was going. I would highly recommend him.

One Star... Called to get legal advise and represenration on a lease aggrement concern I have regarding a rental situation I have with my landlord changing terms mid lease. I was informed this law firm only represents landlords and not tenets.

Gave me advise and I took it upon myself to call the police to speak with her. That night she had fighting going on and neighbors called police out again. Twice visited by police and must vacate by next morning plus she was on probation and I talked to the probation office about what was going on twice.

Pros: Daniel impressed me that he was responsive [at least while it led to him getting a fee] and nearly almost always answered his phone which I really appreciate in any service provider . I do find that extremely valuable and if not for that I would have given him only 1 star. But given my overall experience, I am guessing he answers his phone maybe because he doesn't have much business, but that is just speculation.

Cons: In many instances his council was actually wrong. I proposed an idea to him about a particular tenant law to see if we could perhaps use it. If we could it would mean that he would not get his usual fee and instead something a bit less. He told me it was impossible for many reasons. When I explored it further not only did I find it was possible it actually worked, it got my tenant out of the property by at least 60 days faster and saved me $thousands. What is worse as I explored these ideas with Daniel, he got increasingly curt and dismissive. It was clear in his communication he was mad and in one email even offered to refund my retainer money as my just asking questions meant to him that clearly I "refuse to use [his] system." I said okay and just to give me a day to confirm if I can do it the way he said was impossible. We it was possible and then once I was able to get the tenant legally out of my property without his help he would not respond to any of my requests for the refund which he himself even offered but since I didn't need his services makes sense to refund anyway.

DEFINITELY GET DANIEL MARSHALL. Daniel is well known and respected in the judicial system which makes a big difference. I tried to evict someone myself and it was a complete nightmare. I feel so dumb for not hiring Daniel earlier. I would have saved SO much money, aggrevation and time if I had just hired him right away. I spent 4 months trying to evict someone and he got it done in 2 weeks. He lets you know what's going on and has a great assistant!
